Well done losers.

Pink, blended veg is fine.

I think the cooked fruit rule is a bit naff though.

I think it's naff too lemony. And the blended/mashed fruit too. But if they didn't have rules like that some loons would be having apple sauce with sweetner in and eating buckets of the stuff. Or mashing bananas and making fucktons of pancakes using an egg and a banana then covering it in pureed Strawberry sauce.

I am just sensible with stuff like that. And on the very odd occasion I do cook fruit I treat it as free but not as speed. So I don't syn it but don't go overboard either.

Seekingmiracles · 26/01/2017 22:07

Hello... can I join in please?
I'm on my second week of SW, 2 1/2 lb loss in the first week, which i was happy about.
1st 5lb left.
I keep seeing posts on Instagram of people eating sausages - what are the best low sun ones out there?
Also if something isn't on the syns list online, is there a way of working out the syn value?

Groovester · 26/01/2017 22:12

There's been some fantastic losses on here over the last few days. Well done!
I got 3.5lbs off tonight which is pleasing. Unexpected as I had a big loss last week so expected a smaller one tonight.
I have also bitten the bullet and joined a gym. Had my induction tonight. As a result I'm a tad sore and suspect that I will struggle to walk up the stairs at work tomorrow...

LavenderRains · 26/01/2017 22:13

Ive managed to keep to 2 syns today which should help towards yesterday's blip!
I've noticed today that the lidl fat free yogurts have a much better taste than the muller lights. They seem less chemical tasting (and they are cheaper too)

LavenderRains · 26/01/2017 22:16

Well done groovester brilliant loss,
Hope you arnt too sore tomorrow Grin I haven't really got around to any exercise really yet, apart from walking a bit more and using stairs at work instead of the lift! Every little helps, so they say!!

FaithAgain · 26/01/2017 22:57

Welcome seeking. I've googled in the past to calculate syns, not sure how accurate it is! Heck sausages are nice, not too high. There are SW sausages but I haven't tried them.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 27/01/2017 06:29

Thanks Owlina.

BulaBaby · 27/01/2017 07:07

lavender. I was told you had to have at least 5 syns a day.

Groovee · 27/01/2017 07:08

Having a tantrum! Have been dreaming of fruit crunch ryvita topped with banana and strawberries all night. Someone took the last banana 😢😢😢

BulaBaby · 27/01/2017 07:09

I bought the light, fat free yogurts from Aldi last week. Vanilla with dark chocolate sprinkles is 0.5 syns. The orange with dark chocolate sprinkles is free.

BasinHaircut · 27/01/2017 07:53

groovester well done!

groovee DH did that to me yesterday with a can of Diet Coke I'd been saving for when I really fancied it. I told him not to drink it as he had already guzzled all the other 7 cans and I just wanted to make sure there was one for when I wanted it. Bastard Grin

I've got a bad feeling that this week isn't going well need to stop weighing myself every day but it's still 4 days till weigh in so hopefully it is ok. Gonna try and up my speed and reduce free foods a bit.

FaithAgain · 27/01/2017 07:59

Groovester what a brilliant fortnight! It's really working for you!

Groovee · 27/01/2017 08:09

Basin I nearly cried.

Lulooo · 27/01/2017 09:38

Are fry lite and the Groovy cow coconut spray the only free ones?
I was using a spray that was less than 1 call as the book says they're free but my consultant says I should count 6 sprays as 1/2 syn as that's what the website says. The website actually syns most sprays even if they're less than 1 calorie.

OwlinaTree · 27/01/2017 09:42

I think it would be fine if it's just a little bit lulu.

LavenderRains · 27/01/2017 09:45

bulababy I know I only had 2 syns yesterday but the day be I had about a thousand Blush

LavenderRains · 27/01/2017 09:45

BasinHaircut · 27/01/2017 12:42

Just joined the gym! Was a member of a very expensive gym until last summer but just wasn't getting my money's worth. Then I swapped to running as easier to fit in and much cheaper and was really enjoying that but I've got a bad foot which means I had to stop running about the time I joined SW 2-3 weeks ago.

This new gym I can use at lunch on work days (they do 30min classes which are very handy) and is only £20 a month and no contract so I plan to go 2 days a week (already booked up for next week!) plus try to do something at home 1 day at the weekends.

Azura27 · 27/01/2017 13:20

Hi, does anybody know if these are free? I'm unsure due to the new "now ready in only 5 minutes" label.
Thankyou
