Welcome Margot. You need to have your healthy extras as part of a balanced diet so make sure you are having them. I average around 7/8 syns a day.

Groovee · 24/01/2017 12:33

Hugs Lemony! I could see class far enough tonight as not feeling great x

MargotsDevil · 24/01/2017 12:36

Thanks Groovee. I've been averaging 6-8 syns per day (using more at the weekend on gin) and use my milk most days in cups of tea. Just need to be better organised at having breakfast in the mornings I guess!

Buttwing · 24/01/2017 12:42

Oh crap lemony that's rubbish!

I'm having a vile period and feel dreadful. I've really not felt like eating today so just had some fruit with ff yogurt. I'm counting down till bedtime today.

alibongo5 · 24/01/2017 13:36

Lemony that's so dispiriting! I don't know what else to say really except shit, shit, shit, shit shit and fuck!

Groovester · 24/01/2017 13:41

Sorry to hear that Lemony - I was feeling similar last week. Just think of the progress you've made already.
Frouby well done on helping the wee dog. Our last dog was a rescue and had been treated appallingly. He was the most loving little chap in the world.
Made the sweet potato and onion bhajis to test a recipe. Think will make them again for my taster night. Really easy and tasty too (despite the fact I've over salted them!) Just had a couple along with my chicken salad for lunch.

lemony hang in there! Might show up next week?!

margot welcome! If you need to fit in a HEXB but don't eat breakfast, then I'd suggest looking at nuts and having them as a snack.

OwlinaTree · 24/01/2017 14:48

Looks nice groovster. I looked at the chubby cubs site and decided to do eggy muffins as never tried them before and I have all the stuff. See picture attached. Yum yum yum! I'll be making those again.

Sorry you've stayed the same lemony. It's so frustrating when you plateau. I'm sure if you stick with it you will start to lose again. Could you try some new recipes to shake things up?

Sorry you feel crap butt. Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow.

OwlinaTree · 24/01/2017 14:50

Forgot the picture!

Thanks Basin. I'm a bit of a ditherer in the morning Blush but I might bag up some nuts that I could grab on my way out the door if I've not had time for weetabix!

Groovester · 24/01/2017 15:08

They look great owl

alibongo5 · 24/01/2017 15:10

Margot I'm a bit prone to not having my A and B some days - I think it's because I'm scared to use them early in case I "need" them later and then never get round to using them.

I think I need to do as you suggest and look at what nuts are B and also what crackers, ryveta etc - again I've got different ones in the cupboard which I've never looked up so am worried they're too synful! I need to work out what I can have and plan it in a bit more.

OwlinaTree · 24/01/2017 15:30

I often have ryvita and cream cheese as a snack using hexb 2 ryvita and half hexa 35g light philly. You can actually have 4 ryvita of the dark rye I think. Nice way to use them.

randomer · 24/01/2017 16:08

sorry Lemony...how much have you lost in total?

alibongo5 · 24/01/2017 17:40

One pound off. Got to say I'm disappointed. Ah well a pound that I would've had if I wasn't at Slimming World.

OwlinaTree · 24/01/2017 18:22

Thanks groovster. A pound is a pound Ali, it's all in the right direction.

KnobJockey · 24/01/2017 19:10

Well that's shit for you lemony, so frustrating. Did your consultant have any advice?

Frouby, I feel your pain with the paperwork- my dp is an unorganised gas fitter, and next week is self assessment deadline day! Shock

Drumroll here....5lb off!! Shock Shock
So chuffed with that. Cream bun to celebrate.

TheImprobableGirl · 24/01/2017 19:12

Oh lemony- that's rubbish and so disheartening :( maybe you've just reached your body's happy weight? Maybe you need a huge poo? (Sorry Grin)

Groovee · 24/01/2017 19:21

Lost 2lb so got my 1/2 st award and that's 8lb down. But I also got down the next stone bracket whoooooo 🎉🎉🎉.

Well done to those who lost xx

MrsCox · 24/01/2017 19:24

Evening,

I'm new to slimming world and mumsnet. I've joined for a life change but the kick up the backside for me was my wedding is this August and so my aim is to lose 2-3 stone and then maintain.

Trying to get my head around a's and b's right now so I've found over the last two days I've been eating only (or mainly) free foods.

If anyone has any advice please do feel free to share I need to stay motivated I'm the worst! 😞

Groovee · 24/01/2017 19:46

Welcome Mrscox I tend to use my healthy extras together like cereal and milk or ryvita and cheese or cheese on toast.

FaithAgain · 24/01/2017 20:31

MrsCox welcome! I have cereal and milk for breakfast most days (have tiny drop of milk in cups of tea). Alternatively I have overnight oats (so HE B allowance) and then later have a hot chocolate with the HEA allowance (3 syns for the chocolate powder). Other options are cheese on toast (mm) or babybels are a nice snack to get your HEA option in. It took me a couple of weeks to get into the swing of it but I've been doing SW for 12 weeks and love it now! Smile

MrsCox · 24/01/2017 20:54

Thank you so much that's very helpful I've been doing overnight oats too and I love it! Add a little sweetener powder as it was a tad too bitter without and just tried this amazing meal for the family.
"Balsamic glazed sausages and roasted veg" added a bit of mash I synd it haha

Just typed out today's food and some other stuff and it wouldn't post. Can't be bothered to do it again but good day, ending on 9 syns and dinner was Risotto and spinach
