I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

Weigh in this morning and I've dropped another two pounds so 7lbs off since start of Jan which is good. I took my measurements and I've lost 2 inches off waist, 4 inches off stomach, 2 inches off hips and stayed the same on thighs so overall I am very pleased with those results. I really want to shift 10lbs altogether in January so just need to stay motivated!

Fatloser · 16/01/2017 06:27

Ok, no tears now...I've only lost 0.3lb. I can't believe it. If I were all of you I'd be thinking I must be eating without realising or sneaking stuff but I really really haven't gone off this plan one bit.

For breakfast I have wholemeal toast (400g loaf) with a bit of jam or scrambled egg, or fruit and muller light.
For lunch I have whole grain rice and ham or chicken and fruit.
For tea I have slimming world lasagne, bolognese with spiralised veg, jacket potato, something like that with fruit and muller light for pudding.
THAT'S IT. No chocolate, no crisps, no picking off the kid's plates.

I could cry 😢

Fatloser · 16/01/2017 06:28

PLUS I walk 4 miles 3 times a week!!!

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 16/01/2017 06:51

Aww that is so frustrating when that happens. Are you using your syns? I've heard it's better to use them up if you can as otherwise your body slows the metabolism down. Stick at it!

Beckyr86 · 16/01/2017 09:05

Try eating lots of speed foods, have you tried the speed soup?

JaceLancs · 16/01/2017 11:41

I'm struggling with staying on plan at weekends as spend them with DP (tall and thin) who constantly grazes on chocolate and other snacks such as nuts
I generally save my syns for alcohol and eat healthily anyway
Lost 1 stone 2lb so far but it's very slow and I've got 5 stone more to go!
Lots of people in my group manage big weight losses - last week one person lost 8lb
I was in hospital a while ago for 6 weeks and didn't eat at all, bar drip and peg feeds and only lost 3/4 stone!

IamnotaStepfordHousewife · 16/01/2017 13:42

Fatloser looks like you need to up your free food consumption outside of meal times and use your syns. Your metabolism slows otherwise. Also drink as much water as possible. Was it your star week (period) ?

Beckyr86 · 16/01/2017 17:26

WI was today, I've lost another 1.5lb but when I weighed myself through the week I was 3lb lighter so a bit gutted about that but 1.5 is still a good loss
Today I've had
B. Slice of wholemeal with spaghetti and an apple
L.slice of wholemeal with poached egg, grilled mushroom and tomatoes
D. Pasta with brocolli, laughing cow and some Frank's red hot
Snacks fruit and a small bowl of veg soup
I'm trying to drink more as I really struggle, made some squash and have had 2ltrs already today so hopefully this will help with my losses.
How is everyone else getting on

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 16/01/2017 17:45

Becky that happens to me too - I have different losses through the week but I only count what I see on a Monday! So annoying! Well done on 1.5 though - if you had that every week that would be amazing. I went to a pub quiz tonight and had a buffalo chicken wrap and chips - It's my only syns for the day though but feels very indulgent!

Beckyr86 · 16/01/2017 18:08

It's my own fault for not resisting a sneaky WI through the week, as long as the numbers are going down though I'm pleased, I've saved my syns today so I can have something sweet this evening

Fatloser · 16/01/2017 20:28

Well done on your 1.5lb Becky. At least it was better than mine 😬. So today I've had 2 eggs scrambled for breakfast, couscous with roast veg and a pear for lunch, a babybel light and a banana mid afternoon and loads of carrots, cauliflower and broccoli with slimming world lasagne for tea. Would have strawberries and raspberries with mullerlight but can easily do without as am full. Should I have it anyway?
Is anyone else weeing loads? I had to get up twice last night 😱💤

Thingymaboob · 17/01/2017 12:29

So tempted by this huge chocolate cake in office. Feeling so grumpy. Have prepared food for week. Away Thursday and Friday so will have to make good choices

Beckyr86 · 17/01/2017 15:07

Rubbish day today, I've had about a months worth of syns already

It's so hard to stick too with lots of lovely treats on offer. I had a tortilla pizza last night for dinner which was tasty and then I made myself an options hot chocolate with skinny whipped cream and mini marshmallows for about 5 syns. I got the recommendation on another thread. It was so lovely and indulgent. Def kept sweet cravings at bay!

Beckyr86 · 18/01/2017 09:12

Ooooh that sounds amazing, I'm back on it today I'm just putting yesterday behind me

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 18/01/2017 09:17

*to 😳

Must've just been thinking about too many treats!

Thingymaboob · 18/01/2017 18:44

Caved. Had a 300kcal brownie. Ah well.

Thingymaboob · 18/01/2017 18:49

Threw half away. Too sweet. Weird!!

Beckyr86 · 18/01/2017 19:07

I've been out for dinner, so much for a new day Blush

Thingymaboob · 18/01/2017 19:20

What did you have?
I'm away in a lovely hotel for 2 nights with work. This really never ever happens and the hotel has a pool and amazing restaurant. Not sure what to do as it really feels like a treat. I LOVE being alone in hotels / restaurants. Nice glass of wine. Peace and quiet.
During the day I'm teaching on a course which is catered. I guess it's only 2 days... I just won't eat any cake / biscuits- I'll just eat the main meals Blush

Beckyr86 · 18/01/2017 19:35

I had dough balls, spaghetti and meatballs and brownies and ice cream, I don't do things by half, I'd be very tempted to stuff my face if I was away for two days, I go on holiday on Monday and I know I'll never stick to it in an all inclusive resort

Thingymaboob · 18/01/2017 20:03

I wouldn't worry about stuffing your face on holiday! Enjoy!
Going anywhere nice?

Beckyr86 · 18/01/2017 20:12

Tenerife! I will be getting my money's worth Grin

Thingymaboob · 18/01/2017 20:28

So jealous. Have a great time! If it's all inclusive, just relax and enjoy!
