Congratulations Oriana and welcome newbies and oldbies!
Buzi you can lose the weight without spending a fortune on fresh fruit...I did. I have frozen berries (mixed summer berries, and raspberries) in the freezer at all times - they're great for overnight oats - and while I occasionally have a punnet of grapes or some chopped tropical fruit, I mainly eat apples, pears and satsumas (or similar little oranges).
Improbable If you've got takeaway lovers, then you need the SW Fakeaways recipe book - are you going to a group where you can get it at the shop? If not, let me know and we can sort something out (I will weigh mine and work out postage and then you can paypal me the cash or something)
MrsTom I was a slow loser too. Averaged 0.75 lbs a week...but I stuck to it and got to my 4 stone loss that I needed for target in November. I've actually lost 101 lbs in total from my highest weight in summer 2008 (7 stone 3 lbs).
I can honestly say I have been on plan 100% this year
I even resisted mugging DH for his Lindt bear last night (as is tradition, I ate my reindeer for Christmas Morning Breakfast) and had some satsumas.
Today's plan:
Brunch: Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms
Dinner: Roast beef, roast potatoes, roast parsnip, yorkshire pudding, carrots, cabbage, sprouts.
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars
Back to work tomorrow so this afternoon I'm going to be preparing breakfast muffins and soup for lunches (and doing some school work as I have my next exam on Thursday evening - where's the "biting my nails" smiley?)
