Thanks groove hope you're rightGrin

FaithAgain · 02/01/2017 19:48

Bums I've gained 1 1/2lb. Not catastrophic I know but my first gain since I started. It is my first day of AF though so I'm putting most of it down to that. Also I weighed in 2 days earlier than normal because I can't get to my Wednesday group. Right, I won't let this derail me....I'm back on it already! Got loads of soup made to freeze and batch cooked bolognese and cottage pie so I've got easy nice food to grab!

ALemonyPea · 02/01/2017 20:47

Well done Lollipop. Nice start to the new year.

Emily hasn't been on for ages, she did say she was becoming a consultant in January, hope she has managed it, she was great on SW.

WhoKn0wsWhereTheMistletoes · 02/01/2017 22:48

We've been away for a few days, I have been good WRT alcohol, but bad WRT cheese and crisps. I have also realised that I have a fridge full of very tasty leftover cheeses and no one else is likely to eat them. Hmm.

Will be weighing in on Thursday morning and then heading for my next interim goal of another stone by the end of March.

WhoKn0wsWhereTheMistletoes · 02/01/2017 22:49

Has anyone seen this month's Prima magazine BTW? Picked it up today and the cover featured Lisa Riley (Emmerdale / Strictly) who has lost an amazing 11 stone, what an inspiration!

calzone · 02/01/2017 23:30

No, I'm not at target.....😨😨

I couldn't maintain at all.

I got down to 11stone 3lb and I'm now 12 stone 2lb......

My target is 10stone 7lb.

I have ordered a beautiful dress in a size 10. I'm on it.

summerblonde · 03/01/2017 09:22

Just arrived at work. First day back! Left the car at the school and walked to work. I'm tracking my steps and aiming for 10,000. Poached eggs on toast and a brew. 1.5 syns. Off to weigh myself at lunch. HappyTuesday!

BasinHaircut · 03/01/2017 11:48

You are still 2st down though calzone right? You will get back there with your cauliflower sauce and quarmite etc Grin

I bet maintaining is a right bastard.

summerblonde · 03/01/2017 12:39

5lb loss this week. I'm now 9st 13lb. I always lose a lot first week. I'm sure it will be slower from now on. But seeing the 9 had made me very happy. Smile

alibongo5 · 03/01/2017 12:57

Wow summerblonde that is impressive!

I had my first post-Christmas WI on Saturday and had gained 2 1/2 lb which I was ok with considering what I had been shovelling down my gob since 23 December! And that is only the 2 1/2 lb I lost that week when I thought the best I could hope for was a maintain. So all good there.

Except I just can't get back in the habit - I'm still grazing, though I have started thinking about SW main meals.

Maybe it will be better now I'm back at work and away from temptation. Another WI tonight - I think I will probably have gained even from Saturday (which was a morning WI rather than evening too). So tonight is the beginning of the new start. I mean it. Really.

summerblonde · 03/01/2017 13:07

Thanks alibong. I've done this before and maintained the next week - so I think it evens out! I think my body must have gone into shock with the millions of calories less.

I've been there, where I've so wanted to be in the zone, but my tea time I'm having a nice fattening tea! It's hard at times, but I think being in a routine massively helps. X

summerblonde · 03/01/2017 13:10

Lunch today is salmon, tomatoes, spring onion, rocket, gherkins and tablespoon of salad cream (1.5 syns).

Afternoon- blueberries, strawberries and activia yogurt.

alibongo5 · 03/01/2017 13:20

I've got Chinese style turkey soup which is yummy.

Had muesli, berries and yoghurt for breakfast and fruit for snacks. Also got a muller yoghurt.

So should be ok at least until WI!

summerblonde · 03/01/2017 13:24

Chinese style turkey soup - sounds yum!

alibongo5 · 03/01/2017 14:03

It is - I adapted it from an allrecipes recipe. Basically garlic, ginger, mushrooms, turkey stock, soy sauce and turkey leftovers. With a bit of cornflour to thicken which is probably synful but I made a huge pot so can't be too many per portion!

Just checked - 4 1/2 syns in the cornflour I used - but it made about 12 portions so I think I can live with that!

aleC4 · 03/01/2017 14:23

So tonight's the night we join!
Just got a really silly question! I am planning on signing up for the 12 week countdown so I know I have paid and that's it. Does anyone know if they take cards or will I need to get to a cash machine to get £50 out?

summerblonde · 03/01/2017 14:51

Alec4 - the group I used to go to took cards.

ALemonyPea · 03/01/2017 15:34

2.5 on, I'm not overly impressed, but can't do anything about that.

Got the go ahead for my hysterectomy 🤗🤗🤗 so want to be at target by that, with a bit of luck.

Most consultants will take cards Alec.

I've bought some M&S seafood stew for tea tonight, it's free, and I'm hoping it tastes good.

Fibre One 90 Calorie Chocolate Fudge Brownies they were on offer for a £1 at ASDA they better be nice I got 5 boxes
Muller light toffe
Muller Light Limited Edition Coffee Shop Skinny Latte & Skinny Cappuccino
Light & Free Greek Style Fat Free
and ingredients to make syn free cheesecake so im hopingsome of these will be a hit with family

What are your favourite no/low syn snacks?

So far im on plan
B:oats with yogurt and fruit
L: omelette with leftover gammon, tomato soup (4 syns)
D: meatloaf,
snacks: banana, piece of chocolate (4 syns)

BasinHaircut · 03/01/2017 16:21

buzi for me last time it was more about either not snacking at all, or saving all 15 syns for something totally worth it.

Saying that, sweet and salty popcorn is quite good syn-wise.
