Thankyou for welcoming me Smile

I have my first class next Friday and am so desperate to weight.

I have never been so fat & disgusting.

I have to face the indignity of seeing if any of my exercise clothes still fit before starting C25K.

I'm betting I can't fit into any of them. Sad

Thanks butt I know a few pounds won't hurt but I'm a but cross with myself that I've eaten everything in sightHmm
I'm back on it today tho, I've got a diary sheet and am writing it all down. I'm working Saturday and Sunday so will feel more in control away from the food.
mind you we've got a ton of chocolate at work!!
em that is an amazing transformation, I'm looking forward to having before and after photos. People at work have slowly started to notice my weight loss tho which is nice.
PA sorry you're having a tough time with your dad. My DD has worked at the island hospital. It's very good but understandably busy. We are just across the water from you if I'm thinking of the right island!
Welcome again all newbies🙋

Thanks spaghetti. The funny thing is someone asked me if it had been difficult and I said that honestl, it wasn't! I just made sensible changes and the weight started coming off! I hope the exercise goes well. Good luck. I'm contemplating getting running tights today.

Lavender having indulged a bit over Christmas, I struggling to reign it back in. DD has almost finished her chocolate stash, the mince pies are off and need binning. We got a food shop delivered last night so I'm hoping having the healthy choices available will help!

Well I've just got rid of the majority of the Xmas crap and what's left is stuff I'm not too bothered about.
I'm going to do a food shop tomorrow and stock up on lots of healthy goodies. I found cauli rice in a pouch like the uncle bens pouches but with no added oil just cauliflower, the fresh stuff has such a short shelf life I always end up binning half (dp won't eat it as he says it smells like death-he's not wrong to be fair!)
I'm planning a few sp meals next week so will report back.

Dd(6) is going to kids party at a snow play/ski place today. The mum has asked me to stay and help, I'm dreading it as I'm petrified of heights (they are doing sledging and luge(sp!) and it's high up) and I hate hate hate being cold it actually makes me cry! Dp is killing him self laughing at the thought of me high up and in snow!!! Hmmthanks for the support dear!!

I'm back again (again) ... lost 2.5 st last year but still got 10 st + to loose so rejoining on Monday. Been off-ish most of December and had good days and bad days but my smaller jeans still fit (just tighter) so can't have put on too much ....?

Oooh since you're doing stats- I'll pop in early: not starting until January 1st, but I am completely doing the plan until I am down to target- which is at least 18months away, and that's a push! I have a takeaway pizza planned for NYE and chicken wing and cheese blowout for tonight Grin

Age: 28 (two DC, ttc no. 3)

Current weight: 15st! Considering I'm also 5"1 that makes me essentially a cube)

Target weight: 9st

First target = 1.5st by April 22nd as it's my brothers wedding, will do more targets from then! Also doing C25K and then the 30 day shred once i can afford the DVDs.

Not really keen on group, it's a bit happy-clappy for me, but hope I know enough to keep me on track and this thread will help

Date started: 01/01/17

Oh, for those wondering, my 4 stone loss this time took 72 weeks (from June 2015 to November 2016) which averaged just over 0.75 lbs a week (and most of it was done without exercise due to various disabilities). When I started SW this time round I was on about 40 tablets a day, now I'm only prescribed a vitamin D supplement.

I stuck to plan for most of yesterday then fell face first into the biggest box of Guiylan seashells you ever did see. I did stop before the box was empty and have given it to DH to hide away from me (it now no longer exists, either really because he's eaten it all or theoretically because he's hidden it well).

Going food shopping today.

Back on plan as of this morning. Woken with terrible stomach pains but nothing leaving the body from either end. It's unpleasant but on a good note, I've not eaten anything! SW chow mein for dinner later and a big pot of lentil soup to be made too.

Actually looking forward to feeling better. Eating all of the Christmas crap has made me sluggish and lethargic to be honest.

Day 3 for me!Smile

HEA -250ml semi skimmed milk
HEB - 2x 400g wholemeal.

I had breakfast late today so ate about 11am. SW big breakfast. 2 x bread, bacon - no visible fat, poached egg, mushrooms, baked beans, teaspoon of brown sauce.

I was at the supermarket earlier, was dying to get a cappuccino. I couldn't find the syns online so left it. I know they can be quite high in syns and didn't want to use them all early doors.

Not sure what's for dinner - probably salmon.

Syns 2 (1.5 sugar in tea. 0.5 in tsp brown sauce).

Have a nice day everyone. X

Em you look fab. Will definitely do a before/after photo when I get to target. Aiming to get there by Easter hopefully.

Summer, if you ever find yourself wanting coffee when you're out, a medium skinny latte can be classed as your HEA as uses your milk allowance. Obviously if you add sugar/syrup, then it's synned.

So glad I've done a food shop today, had no fruit or veg in, was getting desperate.

Made blueberry and lemon curd baked oat muffins for breakfast. I could eat them several times over. 3 syns, but so worth it.

Trying to save some syns for New Year's Eve as doing a mini buffet and pulled pork with crusty bread and coleslaw. I at least want a crusty bun, not too bothered about the coleslaw.

Blueberry and lemon curd muffins sound ace.... do you have a link to the recipe please?!

I've surprised myself today... intended to start 1st Jan but weigh in yesterday shocked me into starting yesterday! This afternoon we went to a chocolate box village with an amazing playground with DCs. I took a ball to play football and get some exercise with the DCs. After running around in the freezing cold we went to the gorgeous little cafe. I resisted hot choc and home made cakes and just had an Americano. Still surprised I didn't just say 'oh well, I'll start properly on Sunday'.

Had overnight oats with Dorset Muesli as a HEb for breakfast, home made veg soup for lunch and am planning chicken in a harissa rub, Ainslsy Moroccan cous cous and roasted veg for dinner.

Still need to choose a HEa so might have a glass of milk this evening.

Lavender are you on the south coast? If so, that's me over the water. :)

Still not heard about dad going into hospital, hospital still on code black, so no beds. I took him to the Dr again today and she has said that a few of his toes will probably self amputate (drop off) before he is seen as it is now not likely to be before Tuesday because of weekend/ bank holiday. That will totally freak my dad out!! Shock It seems quite inhumane.

Meanwhile, I also had a funny tummy yesterday and thought I was going to be sick at any time, ate nothing for most of the day, but also didnt drink either. Today I am back to normal. Good day so far and syns saved for my evening treats while I watch the darts! Smile

Oh PA that is awful! You'd think they'd find him a bed 😡

Blueberry/lemon curd muffins for 2.5 syns
40g oats (HEB)
1 egg
Small tub fat free yoghurt
Splash of vanilla essence
50g blueberries (1 syn as cooked)
2 tsp lemon curd (1 syn for the one I used)
1 tbsp sweetener (1/2 syn)

Mix all together and put in muffin tray (spray with frylight first). Cook gas Mark 6 for 35 minutes.

I do baked oats a lot, if you don't add the synned things (apart from sweetener) they're also nice. I do ginger and carrot as well.

Oooh another darts fan PA?! There aren't many of us about! Not ones that are vocal about it anyway Wink

Got Jan/Feb slimming world magazine and it has a good couple of recipes, just wanted a little boost before I start! Actually am really excited for all the lovely things

Just a quick one- dp bought me a subscription to BBC good food, due to start tomorrow, but it's still cancelable- do you think it would still be ok for the recipes and I could just tweak them to be slimming world friendly, or should I cancel and specifically go for a slimming world sub? Good food did come with a free nutriblender though....

Darts fan here too Wink.

Improbable - I've been a BBC Good Food subscriber for about 20 years (it's my Christmas pressie from my mum) and the SW mag isn't a patch on it IMO. I'm getting the SW ones as part of my online subscription and it just doesn't compare at all. There are usually loads of healthy recipes in Good Food and plenty of scope for tweaking, although puddings could be tricky. I'm not really a pudding eater so haven't tried any SW sweet recipes.

PA - sorry to hear about your Dad. My MIL has been through surgery in the last fortnight with similar fears about GA and it's been hard for all concerned.

Stats: very late 40s, two pre-teen DCs, been around 13 stone most of my adult life, including pregnancies, slipped up to 15 stone in last couple of years. Started SW in Sept, lost 1 stone so far.

Does anyone know the syns for Tilda Sweet Chilli and Lime rice? I can't access the calculator as I'm not an online member and can't seem to find an answer online.

Improbable girl. I'd probably keep the Good Food subscription. I bet they will do some lovely recipes that would be easy to tweak.

Other than breakfast I've had salmon with chilli, soy sauce, peas, sweetcorn, cottage cheese onion and chives (which I think is free?). And the majority of the tilda rice packet. A bowl of blackberries, apple and satsumas. Plus another come of tea with half a sugar.

Feeling less motivated this evening for some reason! Need to keep in the zone it's only day 3!
