For another time ClashCity I would say forget putting milk in scrambled eggs (you don't need it, I have never put it in and it's a bit of a waste IMO) and keep it to have with cereal. I don't think it'll matter not having HexB for 1 day but don't skip it regularly.

Maybe get some of the other cereal bars which count as HexB for future too?

alibongo5 · 13/01/2017 18:18

Of course Spaghetti - why didn't I think of cereal with yoghurt - doh!

ChessieFL · 13/01/2017 18:38

Clash what about cooked or tinned fruit? There are some that you can use as HEB.

ClashCityRocker · 13/01/2017 19:06

Yes! That'll do it, some muesli and fat free yog with some fruit. That's good, because I was struggling with breakfast, hence the muller light and fruit.

Been going through some recipes with dh and I'm amazed at how much I can eat, with a few tweaks.

ALemonyPea · 13/01/2017 19:07

You could have overnight oats, or baked oats, neither use milk.

Bit disappointed with my pizza tonight. Used cherry tomatoes and made the base soggy. Was ok, but not what I was craving.

First week back after a 9.5 lb blow out I worked had this week and lost 5.5 lbs yay it's been nice reading all the posts
Congratulations on all the losses Smile

summerblonde · 13/01/2017 19:36

Providing I don't eat anything else. Will end on 9 syns.

summerblonde · 13/01/2017 19:39

And despite following the recipe of the Frittata to the letter - it wasn't the nicest. Think it could do without the garlic, had a small portion and binned the rest. The last three SW recipes I've made haven't been great. I normally not a bad cook so don't know what I'm doing wrong!

summerblonde · 13/01/2017 19:54

Well done Sandy that's a brilliant loss.

emwithme · 13/01/2017 20:23

What about dried fruit for your HEB Clash (I get a big back of apricots and portion it out into snack bags). The apricot gives you a nice sweet feeling too, if that's something you're missing. I don't do bread (because I bloody love it and two tiny slices just isn't enough)

Basin I still have lots of speed food. I was never fat because I didn't eat vegetables (I've always loved veg, I once did a roast dinner with 16 veg - or varieties thereof) but because I have literally no portion control and eat far too much of everything. I've lost weight best this time round because I'm eating the SW-way but tracking through MFP (aiming for 1 lb a week loss). I've now re-set it to maintain and it seems to be working OK.

BasinHaircut · 13/01/2017 20:34

clash what about nuts for HEXB?

em same here i can eat an enormous amount in one sitting.

Pic of dinner, it was lush and all free. Linda McCatney red onion and rosemary sausages, swede, carrot and potato mash, carrots and syn free gravy

Oh and peas obviously! Blush

buzibuzi · 13/01/2017 21:38

ClashCityRocker you might need that fiber, id use milk as hex a or have cereal with yogurt

SpaghettiMeatballs · 13/01/2017 21:51

Miles over syns. I was on 9 syns anyway when my train was massively disrupted and it took me 3.5 hours to get home. Missed seeing DCs by a mile so DH suggested getting an Indian on the way home.

I couldn't face cooking so fell over myself to agree. Plain rice, curry and two poppadums.

That's bad isn't it. Blush

Will have to get back on it tomorrow.

summerblonde · 13/01/2017 22:37

spaghetti - I'm so jealous! Enjoy 😋

SpaghettiMeatballs · 14/01/2017 08:01

It was gorgeous summerblonde! Going to pull it back today and stick to plan with minimal syns to make it up a little bit.

BasinHaircut · 14/01/2017 08:19

Morning all! This is my first SW weekend (well, since this time last year) and they are so much harder than weekdays so need to stay focused and not slip.

Ended up having a snack a jack last night so reckon I was over on syns yesterday but I'm within syns over 4 days IYSWIM so should be ok.

I think I'm finding it a bit easier to stick to the plan this year because I've joined a group and so someone other than me is going to be doing my weigh in on Monday. I think if I knew it was just me I wouldn't have been so strict with myself if that makes sense.

I'm also loving the food search function on the app. So useful. Although I couldn't really work out the website.

Groovee · 14/01/2017 08:56

Just been doing my shopping list and typically I can't remember where I saw recipes to get the ingredients x

BasinHaircut · 14/01/2017 08:58

I try to add to a read list list on my phone when I see a recipe online. Never remember they are there though, usually until about 10 minutes after I finish the online shop!Grin

Buttwing · 14/01/2017 09:06

Right that's it I've decided I'm doing it on Monday. No more sugar. After falling of the wagon and into the biscuits AGAIN. There is absolutely no benefit to having it in my life anymore. I would start sooner but I'm going out for a friends 40th tonight and we are eating and drinking, I need a clear run to do it. So watch out sugar you are leaving my life on Monday!!

OwlinaTree · 14/01/2017 09:24

Hi all. Having a fun weekend away visiting friends. Not good sw wise I expect! Yesterday started well, then I met some friends for lunch in a soft play. Soft play only had a tiny menu, sandwiches basically. They had beans in toast so I ordered that thinking I'll just eat the beans, but there was only just enough beans to cover one slice of the bread! So I ate one slice of white toast.

Then we set off on a 3+hour drive. Me and the kids as dh meeting us there. By about 5 id driven about an hour and a half and was starving after the inadequate lunch. So stopped at services for much needed coffee, and toddler had a sausage sandwich and I had a cheese toastie thing from Costa as it seemed the best option with using hexs. Toddler ate about a third of it anyway!

Then dinner (spag bol), a glass of wine and lovely meringue pudding when we got there!

So not boding well for this week!

summerblonde · 14/01/2017 09:25

Groovee - I do that ALL THE TIME

Groovee · 14/01/2017 10:13

It's doing my head in lol. Have found a similar recipe on pintrest that I have screen shorted.

Has anyone done the baked oats? Was thinking of making some x

SpaghettiMeatballs · 14/01/2017 10:41

Soft play is a nightmare owlina. The food is horrible at our local one. All covered in cheap, plastic cheese. Total waste of syns.

In the week I had a slimming world cooked breakfast before we went to soft play and skipped lunch. Maybe try that before your drive back?

SpaghettiMeatballs · 14/01/2017 10:42

They are nice groovee. I've done alemony's lemon and blueberry a couple of times. It's on this thread. Makes a lot so feels very satisfying.

obviously they'd be nicer with a big scoop of ice cream
