Well done bread! 3.5lbs is awesome, Christmas bloat or not!

I seem to have gained 1.5lbs Hmm
I weighed in last Sunday and didn't start until Thursday- so will give myself until next Sunday as my first week, I'm one of those 'wants to see results super fast' sort of people Grin

OwlinaTree · 07/01/2017 12:17

Thanks for the support guys, much better night last night! Slept 11 till 8, wahey!

Definitely going to try the potato pizza!

ALemonyPea · 07/01/2017 13:00

Hurray for sleep!

Going to the pics tonight. Have a feast of grapes and 2 hifi bars to rake, and a bottle of Coke Zero. No nachos for this fatty.

1.5 syns for sugar in brews.

I've made this for dinner-

http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/coconut-chicken-sweet-potato-curry

(without the coriander, forgot to get some) I've had a little taste and it tastes lovely. To serve with rice. 1.5 syns per serving

Does anyone know if you can freeze curry with coconut milk in?

So far 9 syns

Happy Saturday all...

TheImprobableGirl · 07/01/2017 14:19

Not sure on coconut milk sorry blonde !

Quick Q, I have tended to have hula hoops every day for 6 syns, dp says that won't work but as long as I stay within my syns it'll be ok won't it?

buzibuzi · 07/01/2017 14:33

thats brilliant OwlinaTree there is nothing like uninterrupted sleep!

Buttwing · 07/01/2017 14:53

Yay for sleep owlina!! I feel like a different person if my kids have had a good night doesn't happen often it my lie in tomorrow and I can't wait!
Summer I think it should be fine to freeze
Improbable it will work!!! My Dp is always telling me I need to cut carbs, eat nuts, steak and egg, calorie count or what ever his health kick is this week!!

I'm making a feast tonight for me and Dp tonight (even though he is being a twunt at the mo and doesn't deserve it!) on the menu is-

Poppadom with onions in tomato and mint yogurt (2 syns for the pop)
Chicken and spinach tikka curry
Chicken madras
Whole grain pilau rice (1 syn)
Sweet potato and butternut squash chips with chilli and curry powder (aka gunpowder chips)
Spicy tender stem and green beans

And for dessert
Strawberries with waitrose chocolate frozen yogurt and squirty cream (4 syns)

Anyone who is new and not tried the waitrose froyo it's amazing tastes like v rich chocolate ice cream and is 15 syns for the whole tub.

TheImprobableGirl · 07/01/2017 14:58

If he's being a twunt butt then the only sensible thing to do is to send me his share of dinner.... sounds amazing!! I'm trying to think of something amazing to do for dinner... currently erring on the side of chicken supreme, maybe with butternut squash mash and some green beans (as per slimming world photo Grin)

Frouby · 07/01/2017 15:07

Afternoon all

We are also having a lazy weekend. Was going to take dcs and dog to the park for an hour but it's raining and cold so we are staying home. Dp is watching football, dd hiding in her room and me and ds are watching topsy and tim in my bed.

I had mushrooms on toast for brunch today. It was lush but made with creme fresh so probably full of syns. Just going to have a look in a minute. Steak, wedges, veg and pepper sauce for tea. Possibly a hifi afterwards depending on the creme fresh syns.

Day 6 of dry January here. I am so used to using my syns on gin I am a bit lost with it all now. I keep forgetting to have them!

KP86 · 07/01/2017 15:15

Question for experienced SW members or consultants - do your holidays run on the calendar year or your joining date anniversary? I want to take a few weeks off but have already used about five weeks of holidays since I joined in June last year.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 07/01/2017 16:19

Ughhhh. I always forget I don't really like Muller Lights. Ordered some with my shop and just tried the banana and custard. Not my thing at all.

Today:

HEA: milk in tea and coffee.

B: grapes and Greek yoghurt.
L: cooked breakfast: scrambled eggs, 1 x bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. 1 syn for butter in eggs. Muller Light.
D: slimming world chicken tikka masala and rice.

Planning on making Alemony's blueberry and lemon muffin to use my B extra and another 2.5 syns.

Buttwing · 07/01/2017 16:25

Ha ha improbable! Sounds like a planWink

Who was asking about the fakeaways book? I would have a look at the chubbycubs fakeaways section I've just had a quick look and there are some really really nice looking recipes on there. I always forget about that website and I'm always really impressed when I go on.

emwithme · 07/01/2017 17:53

@KP86 holidays run from your joining anniversary.

I am seriously off-plan. It is part lovely and part awful (visiting family for post-Christmas Christmas shindig) and I appear to be turning into a chocolate-cheese monster.

I'll be back on plan Monday morning.

KP86 · 07/01/2017 18:02

Thanks em.

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 07/01/2017 18:05

Buttwing it was me asking about the fakeaways book (have since found the price on SW website £4.95)

Thanks for the website suggestion I will take a look Grin

Buttwing · 07/01/2017 18:49

Sorry Dave I was on my phone with a smashed screen so not that easy to scroll through!!
Be warned they are a little.....ahem.. Crude!!! But quite funny as long as you're not easily offended.

TheImprobableGirl · 07/01/2017 20:02

Haha I too was asking about fakeaway, I came across those and pinchofnom, both have a great fakeaway section

Groovee · 07/01/2017 20:09

Had a pretty good day.

Had over night oats. Then went out to do a tour on my bucket list with my friend whose birthday it is. I was good and only had water.

Picked up a subway salad with turkey, gherkin, lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes. Then had water at the cinema too.

Had Spaghetti and home made beef meatballs with salad.

Syns were some crisps at 6.5 syns and a 18g dairy milk at 5 syns that I found.

It's been such a busy day I feel time for bed.

Body magic - an hours walking tour up and down stairs. Advocates close stairs from bottom to top. Must have been about 300 steps!

Buttwing · 07/01/2017 20:12

Ok I may have slightly over catered on the curry! Lots of left overs to freeze.

Pumpkin16 · 07/01/2017 21:27

Joined back this week so place marking Grin

summerblonde · 07/01/2017 21:28

Ending on 91/2 syns today.

Went to the cinema with DD and Dmum this afternoon.I took a tub of raspberries and blueberries with 2 satsumas to snack on. DD and DMum had a pub tea, I had a Diet Coke. I had my curry with rice when I got home.

Thanks Buttwing and Improbable Girl - I checked and yes can freeze coconut milk so I have a few made up for the week.

A good day all round and I have noticed my face looks a bit slimmer (double chin melting away!). I'm a bit peckish but will hold out until the morning now.

Night all.

summerblonde · 07/01/2017 21:29

Also, the curry selection looks delicious Buttwing. Smile

rjr75 · 07/01/2017 21:34

had a much better day than yest - no pigging out today!!

B - fruit salad with nat yog and a sprinkle of granola
L - salad with smoked salmon and cream cheese
S - that chicken and chorizo casserole earlier on in this thread - awesome!! with steamed kale.
Drank loads of fizzy water with lime squeezed in and a herbal tea tonight although the gin bottle was screaming out to me to be opened after a day of 2 hideous fighting whinging children!!

Dont know how many syns - can't be more than a few. Finding it hard to work them out...
