Feeling v sorry for myself today as I crawl towards half term... have a really sore throat (painful to swallow), my wisdom teeth hurt and I have a headache. I just want ice cream!!! Do you think Waitrose would deliver me a single tub of chocolate fro yo?

LavenderRains · 20/10/2016 19:18

ninnypoo Flowers that sucks! Have you got a muller light you can freeze and pretend it's ice cream?
I tried a banana and custard one and froze it. Was lovely.

Evening all

It's my birthday on Saturday and I am.going to struggle to stay on plan.

We had tea in the pub tonight, am having another pub teach tomorrow and am out for drinks and a curry with dp on Saturday.

Oh well. Its once a year not every week.

Am going to enjoy it and put a line under it all Sunday and see if I can just get 0.5lb off for my 2 st certificate.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 20/10/2016 19:32

That looks delicious DoIlook. My standard breakfast is a slice of rye bread (1/3 HEB), a triangle of Laughing Cow extra light (1/6 HEA) a bit of marmite, black pepper and two poached eggs. I cook them together in a microwave egg poacher so they come out like one big double-yolker.

Frouby · 20/10/2016 20:18

Now I really want poached eggs on toast.

Hmmppph. Might have them for breakfast tomorrow.

Penguin000 · 20/10/2016 21:27

Blush So I cocked up before I even got going!

Dug out my fitbit and will actually start day1 in the morning.. May have to post here lots to keep me on track!

Doilooklikeatourist · 20/10/2016 21:56

I bought a fab egg poacher in wilkinson for a fiver
It poaches 4 eggs at a time and it's like the one your Grandma had !
It's worth a look

emwithme · 20/10/2016 21:57

Harrumph. Half a pissing pound off. But (as DH has tried to remind me all day) at least it was off and not on.

5.5 lbs to target. 4 weeks of countdown left.

I am slowly slipping 😩 Have oats as my HEXB but the smell of DDs toast is killing me. Literally.

Frouby · 21/10/2016 11:08

Morning slimmers!

Will be slightly off plan for the next 2 days but going to try and make reasonable choices.

B. Coffee
L. Jacket potato and cheese at soft play
T. Dinner at the pub. Will chose steak and jacket if I can. And am driving so will be diet coke.

A bit of a NSV. Got a pair of skinny jeans on that look massive and a new top that I have had to put a vest on under as it's too big and gaping!

Think I need to accept it am now a size 14 and no longer a 16. Will be waiting for the sales to start after Christmas to have a new wardrobe though. Just in case I eat all the pies at Christmas and need a bit of wiggle room lol.

LavenderRains · 21/10/2016 12:14

What a nice feeling frouby dropping dress sizes! I'm looking forward to that.
And happy birthday for tomorrow. You deserve a treat or 2FlowersWine

Buttwing · 21/10/2016 13:18

I've had a dodgy couple of days. I've been out for dinner twice, once for an Indian where I wasn't really very good but it could have been worse. Then last night for Thai where I wasn't great either but I didn't have anything creamy or deep fried. I did have large glass of rred though!
I'm back on it today, helped by the fact that fact I've had some dental work done this morning and I'm in a lot of pain so don't feel like/can't eat.

B- nothing
L-baked potato and beans
D-not sure, something soft! Maybe soup.

Buttwing · 21/10/2016 13:20

Frouby that's a great NSV! Congrats!!

I love poached eggs, I quite often have them with spinach, bacon or ham and mushrooms.

FirstTimeMummy25 · 21/10/2016 13:43

Well done to all the losers! I'm weighing tomorrow so will see how I've done- I think it's near my star week I'm honest although I've not had one since may (ish) last head due to pregnancy then breastfeeding... So that should be interesting and I wonder what it will do to my weight...
Quick question... I see a few of you talking about choc fro yo from waitrose... Please share your knowledge this sounds lush!!

iklboo · 21/10/2016 14:16

Weigh in tomorrow. Taking a holiday next week as it's our anniversary weekend and I'm NOT getting up at silly o'clock (and not eating nice things). I found out mushrooms are a speed food this week. I may have eaten my fill of mushrooms on toast.....

LavenderRains · 21/10/2016 16:36

I've been out for lunch with a friend today, only to Harvester and I was good.....

B porridge and an apple HE a&b
D Harvester; steak, jacket potato and salad. Diet coke
T probably fruit and yogurt or maybe some eggs and syned toast

ALemonyPea · 21/10/2016 17:05

well done to the losers.

Good to see you've got your name back Frouby. Enjoy your weekend.

Ikl, mushrooms are one of my staple fridge foods, add them to everything. Never thought of mushrooms on toast though, yum!

B: bacon sandwich with HEB bread, melon, orange
D: ham and egg salad, 4 syns for dressing and coleslaw
T: Chilli, sweet potato wedges, HEA cheese

OwlinaTree · 21/10/2016 22:23

Happy birthday for tomorrow frouby! Have a great weekend.

What does NSV mean?

Buttwing · 22/10/2016 12:27

Happy birthday frouby!! Very low synCakeCakeCake

Owlina NSV- non scales victory, ie dropping a dress size or fitting in something you couldn't before.

Hope everyone is having a good day, I'm having a day where I just don't feel hungry. This is a very very rare occurrence!!

AnnaForbes · 22/10/2016 12:40

Hello, I joined sw 7 weeks ago. Can i join your thread? 12.5 lbs down so far, have another stone and a half or two stone to lose.

iklboo · 22/10/2016 12:46

1lb loss this morning. 8lb in total. It's our wedding anniversary next weekend. I'm going to be 100% on plan all weekend but the Saturday will be off plan. We'll be away so won't be at weigh in. Then back on 100% from Sunday to weigh in. Hopefully shouldn't put much on (or can lose it by weigh in). I don't intend to go utterly crazy - just a nice meal out and some wine.

iklboo · 22/10/2016 12:47

ALemony - I cook them in frylight with mixed herbs and some smoked salt. Sometimes with light garlic Philly as my HEXA for creamy mushrooms.

Kim82 · 22/10/2016 12:48

Hi everyone, can I join please? I started at SW on Tuesday so haven't had my first weigh in yet. I have just under 4st to lose, it seems like an impossible goal but for now I just want to lose 1st by Christmas. Fingers crossed I can manage that.

Today's menu is:

B - weetabix and banana
L - 3 x chicken legs, a massive fruit salad and yoghurt (0.5 syns)
D - pasta bolognese with hoards of veg mixed in

No idea what to use my other syns on today, I'll see how I feel tonight.

FirstTimeMummy25 · 22/10/2016 13:21

No loss for me this week which I'm gutted about, but I've been having signs of star week so don't know if it's that as I stuck to plan... Never mind onwards and upwards. We have date night tonight too I was banking on a loss so I could have a treat and get back on it tomorrowConfused
