Lol call me what ever you want!

It was Sheffield I was driving around. I live about 10 miles from it and hate going. But I needed some meds for pony and it was either drive around for an hour or wait at yard for an appointment which could be anytime between 12 and 5pm.

Didn't fancy the wait!

Well done Lemony, great loss!
My second weigh in tomorrow. First weeks loss was 7.5lb but I very much doubt I will lose anywhere near that this week.
I've been good this week apart from Saturday nights mini Chinese.
I've just had a massive jacket potato with synd real butter, chicken breast, mushrooms and courgettes.
Looking forward to a curly wurly and coffee muller yoghurt tonight.Smile

Well done lemony!

Lavender I saw the latte and cappuccino yogs in morros this week, they look yum. They only had a multi pack so I didn't bother in the end as loose ones were on a better offer. Do you recommend?

Thanks everyone. I am also no longer obese, just overweight, so just a chubby girl Wink

Glad the cancer hasn't spread Frouby, and fingers crossed her treatment works.

Being a rebel tonight and having pork chops without cutting the fat off, and not syning it.

owlina the coffee yogurts are lovely, I recommend them.
Lidl mini fun size choc bars (milky way variety) are 4 syns and good for a sweet treat.

Hi everyone. Can I please join? Went to first SW meeting today and came home and cried at how much I weigh Blush

Oh Half 💐💐💐

I did the same after my first WI. That was 6 months ago, and here I am, nearly 5 and a half stone lighter. You can do it, just think how much you'd like to lose weight. You've done the hardest thing, joining a group, you'll get lots of support here and at group as well.

HalfWarmedFish · 18/10/2016 19:50

Thanks ALemony I have 5st to lose too. Amazing that you did it in 6months!

Oh fish don't cry! I was horrified 2 weeks ago when I joined (don't have scales at home)
But it's all uphill now for you! Just get stuck in and reap the benefits! I lost 7.5lb in my first week and if I can do it anyone can!
The guys on this thread are great, lots of tips and encouragement.
good luck, you can do it!!

HalfWarmedFish · 18/10/2016 20:16

Thanks Lavender It's a shock isn't it when you first step on the scales!
I have a pedometer, for the last week I have been doing exercise videos so hopefully that, combined with SW will give me a similar first week loss to you!

Ah fish it's hard to accept isn't it? Just think that you have done the hardest bit now. You have started.

I was in denial for years about how I looked. Now I am in denial about how.much I have lost. Almost 2st in nearly 6 months.

It's not as impressive as Lemonys amazing loss but it's made a massive difference to how I feel and how I look.

We didn't have the chops. Dp isn't feeling very well with manfu and didn't fancy a cooked dinner so he and dd have had a subway sandwich and I have been very good and had a veg omelette.

Wi tomorrow or I would have had a subway too.

I've been doing SW for a year and have lost 1st 6. I'm having real trouble getting things going properly. I do try to stick to my syn limit but more often than not I end up a little bit over. My meals at home are fine but it's harder at work since the canteen stopped doing baked potatoes. I usually take in a mug shot or some pasta with mushrooms if I have time to do it but it's hard to get the speed in. Plus I'm not a fan of salad so while we do have a salad bar there's not much there I'll eat and it won't fill me up. Not feeling very supported by my consultant either, every time I have even a little gain she makes this disappointed noise.

I am happy that I weigh less and have dropped a dress size but I have another stone and a half to go so if anyone has words of encouragement or tips on how to kick start things again I'd be happy to hear them!

Evening all, feeling a bit more motivated again now, I really need this thread as I haven't got a group to go to.

Bim - that's great about your sister's test results, hope the op goes well.

Lemony - that's an amazing loss in 6 months. I am aiming for 5 stone in 18 months and it feels ambitious if I'm honest.

Halfwarm - I'm just starting with my 5 stone to lose, 8lb down in 5 weeks so far but I can already feel a difference.

Ohmygod - I'm relatively new to this and keep hitting bad patches myself, so probably not best to advise, but I am finding reading this thread very motivating. Could you take in a smoothy for some of your speed? (Is that allowed). I like one I make with courgettes, mango, carrots, a bit of orange juice.

Low fat sausages, beans and mash for me tonight, going to have a Muller lite for my supper in a minute. I have a terrible habit of snacking on savoury stuff after the DCs have gone to bed, I have decided to have my pudding then instead of straight after tea to deter me from other snacks.

What's a Hifi BTW? I'm still struggling with terminology/brand names.

Welcome fish. I felt like crying when I realised how much weight I'd gained whilst pregnant. I've already lost 8lb in 4 weeks though, and feel much better already. I've been able to wear non maternity clothes this week, which feels amazing! I've got quite a way to go tbh, but it's a start.

Got my 1/2 stone certificate today! Woo! Can't remember the last time I got a certificate for anything.

I got to target in June, went on holiday and promptly put 12lbs on.

I rejoined last week with a new group and cleared my history......lost 3lbs tonight so pleased with that.

Hiya, Can I join too?!

I've got 3 stone to lose 4 really but not dealing with the last stone yet

I'm bf my 4 week old and I've got a holiday in 2 months with the in laws and would love to not look like I do right now (not expecting a miracle though I'm not deluded!)

So yes, off to Aldi today to stock up on fruit and hoping posting here will help me stay on track.

Slightly disappointed bloody pissed off at a maintain last night at WI. I stuck to plan all week despite the rubbish stressful life at the moment. I resisted the cream cakes that DCs had. I resisted the chinese they had. I resisted the chocolate they shared. Now wondering why I bothered!! Angry

First maintain since june, though and I am not going to allow it to throw me off track. Last evening we went out for a meal and we did indulge in our Tuesday night off plan treat, after which I felt totally sick and this morning I was pleased to get back to my normal breakfast.

I collected my free Christmas book last night (for buying a 12 week countdown) It looks lovely and lots to try in there.

When I started, in June, I had 8stone to lose. I have done 2.10 so far. It seemed like a huge insurmountable mountain in June, but now it doesn't seem that bad and I am really encouraged that other people have done it and I am not feeling deprived at all. Actually, I am really enjoying the whole plan and recipes etc. I like the tortoise and Hare analogy. I wont be a Lemony, but I am determined to get there!!

Frouby Good news on your sis. Flowers

I'm off to 2nd weigh in this morning. I really can justify staying to group for over an hour. It's my day off and lots to do!
I sort of feel I should stay tho. Is it okay to just be weighed and go? for a bloody fiver Grin

Morning all

Back as Frouby as it wouldn't let me change to froubylou. I really don't get the mn security system but at least I am sort of back to me.

Just had wi and lost 2.5lbs. Yay. It's a big loss for me as I am usually a lb or 1/2 lb type of girl. But last couple of weeks I have only lost 1/2 in Total so it's just caught up I suppose.

Officially in the 11st bracket and only 1/2 off my 2 st award. And over half way to target which seemed so very far away when I started in May. A lot of it is to do with the support on this thread. I never stay to group so get all my best ideas and motivation from here so thank you all. Flowers

Today's plan

B. Coffee
L. Not sure. Maybe beans on toast. Or soup.
T. The pork chops we were having last night.
