Thanks butt, I like it!

Had lunch out today, was thinking I'd just have a treat lunch but spotted a rice and chicken meal, it was chicken on a skewer, rice which was probably a few syns and a bit of salad, and I had piri piri sauce with it which was super hot so could only manage a bit! So I reckon that was quite low syn in total, and it was very nice!

Not sure what to have for tea though! Quite fancy chips....

Pretty sure I've overdosed on chicken today Grin

No fruit eaten. Or water. I feel a headache coming tomorrow

Kim, a stone in 8 weeks is very doable. Go for it. I find this plan better than previous SW, I think the 1/3 speed is really effective.

I make banana baked oats Calzone, just like banana cake. Delicious.

I'm constantly freezing, not used to being slimmer in the winter. Going to have to invest in thermals I think.

B: scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms
D: ham and pease pudding, butternut squash soup, cheese
T: roast pork, mash a fuckton of veg, stuffing (3 syns)

Hello all

Feeling very rough after my birthday celebrations. Thank you for the good wishes!

It wasn't a complete disaster food wise. But definitely overdone the gin.

Today I am almost back on it.

B. Coffee, lots of coffee
L. A bag of crisps. Was starving, no salad or brown bread and was only thing I could shove in my gob quick enough.
T. Roast gammon, veg, mashed and roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, gravy. Will be syns as I have cheated and raided m and see for prepared stuff as am not feeling like doing much.

Might even have a cream bun after tea.

Back on it 100% tomorrow though. Got to let my hair down on my birthday weekend I think!

However , a long walk today , and being mindful finishing the port will work things out for weigh in

Well I'm just plodding along here, food wise. Typical Sunday...

Brunch: Omelette with button mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. Bucket of coffee Grin
Snacklet: Apple, pear, satsumas
Dinner: Roast beef, roast potatoes, yorkie puddings, carrots, cabbage.
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Made soup for next week's lunches and eggy muffins for breakfasts, too.

Best bit of the weekend has been fitting into unfeasibly small clothes. I now own a short cord skirt and some skinny jeans in a size 12, some new tops (mostly 12s) and new bras (I finally found some that fit - and in some brands, although not the ones I bought, I was in a 32 back Shock )

I am not looking forward to the credit card bill arriving but I got fed up of hitching up my jeans and wearing baggy jumpers!

Congratulations on smaller clothes Em! I can't wait to buy something in a smaller size.

Feel very bloated and bleurgh after the weekends indulgences. Looking forward to getting back on it. Am not sure I will make wi this week though. It's half term here and my sister has her operation on Wednesday so it's a bit of a funny week.

Ocado man coming this morning. Have forgotten what I ordered and what meals I said I was doing until I put everything away and see what's in the freezer.

Nice one Em! You're doing so well, so close to target.

WI for me tomorrow. Not feeling optimistic. Weighed myself this morning and haven't lost anything despite being on plan. Quite constipated though, and have eaten bread more than I would for my HEB. So going back to not eating bread more than once a week, it doesn't agree with me.

B: porridge, melon, orange
D: ham salad and soup
T: salmon and veg rice

B cup of tea
D mushroom omelette , yogurt and melon
T salmon, jacket potato and salad
HE a & b cheese and wholemeal bread
Have syned some butter and salad cream so far,
Feel I need a sweet treat tonight, any ideas? Got 10+ syns left

Hello all

Please may I join in? I went along to my first meeting today, I thought it was about time I tried to lose my baby weight (and some!). I was absolutely horrified at my weight, I'm in the obese category and I just looked at my daughter in her pram and felt so so guilty for being such an unhealthy mother to her. I am determined to lose the weight so that I can be a good role model and as she starts toddling around have the energy to keep up and run around in the park and things with her.

I have spent all evening reading my books and menu planning. One thing that is worrying me is the speed thing - do I just make sure I always include some speed foods at every meal? So for example, an apple or strawberries with breakfast (or mushrooms if I'm having eggs), salad at lunch and green veg with dinner. I'm worrying I won't eat enough and fill up too much of other free foods - should my plate be loaded with speed foods?

Buttwing · 24/10/2016 20:55

Welcome littlepooch don't get too worried about it, it's actually not that hard to do once you get into the swing of things. Just think about what you are going to eat and how you can incorporate it, do a meal plan it will really help. When I do one I just choose seven breakfasts, lunches and dinners and then mix and match depending on what I feel like eating. Making soup is a good way of getting speed in you can freeze it and just bring it out when needed. Have you ever done slimming world before?

I've had a really bad week, not sure why I think things have just spiralled. Anyway I got back on it today, I've been feeling a bit down and a bit grotty so I made a soup my Italian granny used to make when I was ill as a child, not had it for years but it was lovely,a bowl of comfort.
An onion
A carrot both diced really small
Handful of cooked chicken shredded
Tiny little star pasta
Chicken stock

Throw it all in a pan and cook until pasta is ready. So simple but really nice.

Hi newbies. I'm on 3 weeks in and have lost 11lb. Getting into the swing of things now.
mrsmcclements I think you can use any flavour oat so simple as HEB
I doubt very much if the sausages and burgers are free. I found some tesco healthy eating sausages that are 1 syn each.
butt that soup sounds lovely. I will try that. I made pumpkin and carrot soup but it was thick and blandConfused

Hi everyone. Been AWOL for a few weeks as been away and also as needed a break from recording food diaries! Had a mini meltdown lol. WI last week and still lost a pound, but need to get back in control again.
Today was heB muesli, heA milk
L pasta with h/m tomato and roast pepper sauce, salad
Half term outing with kids to a country park, took flask of hot winter spice ribena and some grapes+ time out bar 5.5 syns
D jerk chicken, fruity homemade coleslaw, rice

Went to cinema tonight with a friend, took us half tub each of waitrose choc froyo kept cold in insulated coffee mugs in DS's lunch box with an ice pack and tiny spoons. 7.5 syns of lushness!
Hope everyone is doing well!

M&s skinny burgers are free and very nice. Not all the oats so simple varieties are HeB as some don't have enough fibre. The multigrain honey one, multigrain original, multigrain fruit muesli and the original Big bowl show up as heB on the App.
