Off clothes shopping with my Mam today. Could be dangerous. So made sure I've had a filling breakfast and might take a hifi bar as well.

B: scrambled eggs, mushroom, melon,nectarine
D: probably a subway salad
T: chicken fajitas, will use lettuce leaves as the wrap

Buttwing · 01/10/2016 09:59

Hi all been so so good for the last few days doing sp and very few Syns. I'm hoping it's going to balance out this evening as all four children are going for a sleepover (doesn't happen very often!) and me and dp are going to a swanky new restaurant that's just opened. We are going to drink champagne, eat gorgeous food and remember why we fancy each otherWink we seem to forget who we are in the day to day grind of working, housework and bringing up the kids so really looking forward to getting dressed up and hitting the town!!

B-huge bowl of fruit and Greek yogurt
L-salad
D- fuckton of gorgeous food and wineGrin

OwlinaTree · 01/10/2016 10:16

Lettuce leaves for fajitas! Great idea!

maygirl · 01/10/2016 12:17

Have a great night Buttwing! Our DC off to my mums tonight but instead of the planned meal out we've romantically decided to stay in and blitz our bedroom that's got into a bit of a mess since I've gone back to work Blush. Going to cook a nice prawn curry though whilst prawn hating DS is out!
Redpony I like the SW nacho- style feast! mobile.slimmingworld.co.uk/recipes/view-recipe/nacho-style-feast

Hello all

Am going to have Taco Bell for tea. New shop just opened up across the road.

It doesn’t look fantastically sw friendly but am going to eat light today and tomorrow to.make up for it.

Just had a very small ham and cucumber roll for lunch. Then that's it until we have that later.

Most of the fillings look ok. It's just the wraps or shells that will be high syn I suppose.

May I am helping dd (12) sort her room out today and probably tomorrow. I bet her room is much worse than yours lol. She is an absolutely filthy pig.

She wants to move her furniture around but I refused until she had fettled it and sorted out junk.

9 bin bags and various bags for charity shops or to pass on later I can finally move in there.

emwithme · 01/10/2016 17:59

Well I survived the night with DN. He's bloody adorable, even when he's mithering at 1 am...but I am proper knackered today so DH is in charge of the kitchen tonight, which means it's SW-lite!

Today's food:

B: Wholemeal thin (HEB) with peanut butter, muller light
L: Eggy muffins, apple, pear, muller light
D: Sausage (Heck 97% pork), egg, chips and beans.

HEA: Milk

I really don't like eating my HEB for breakfast...but needs must when you're at someone else's house and needing to get something in while a 6 month old naps!

ALemonyPea · 01/10/2016 18:26

Have a lovely time Butt. I have one night child free every year, love it.

Glad your babysitting went well Em, you'll hopefully have your own DC this time next year, or at least be getting ready for it.

Ended up having a wrap when I was out, it was wholemeal and Cajun chicken with no mayo, not too bad.

You've got me wanting peanut butter now Em. Think I'll have it on toast tomorrow,

BalthazarImpresario · 02/10/2016 10:15

Hello all, hate diet clubs but joined sw this week as have been unable to do it alone after a tough year.
First weigh in tomorrow, feel like I'm getting to grips with it all.

ALemonyPea · 02/10/2016 12:41

Good luck with your WI Balthazar.

Lovely, sunny here today. Went to the gym this morning so missed breakfast.

D: soup, HEB bread, fruit and yoghurt
T: shepherds pie with HEA cheese, veg veg and more veg

froubylou · 02/10/2016 12:45

Morning all

taco bell was very disappointing. Not worth the bloody syns.

And ds (2) is poorly so I feel very meh today. Been up all night with him.

b. Coffee
L. Nothing as early tea.
t. Roast pork, and all the trimmings. Lots of veg.

emwithme · 02/10/2016 13:22

Lemony it's all the fault of Tom-at-work who had a PBJ sandwich for his break snack on Friday afternoon! It was gorgeous.

And hopefully, yes, we'll be either with-newborn or well on the way this time next year. We're starting on the pre-conception vitamins whenever I get my arse to the chemist to buy some (doc is happy for me to have the standard level of folic acid now I've lost weight)

Welcome Balthazar

It's just a usual Sunday here today - late brunch, meal prep for the week, bit of homework, then a big fat roast dinner.

Brunch: Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato
Dinner: Slow-roasted lamb, roast potatoes, yorkie puds, carrots, broccoli.
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars probably.

cdwyer · 02/10/2016 13:23

Glad new thread started!

BalthazarImpresario · 02/10/2016 13:27

Thank you
I'll Join in with postings

Lunch - egg , ham with loads of salad with dressing made with quark , laughing cow (hex a) and mustard (1syn)
Dinner - pork casserole (done with stock pots etc) shittonne of veg
Treat - meringue nest, fat free fromage frais S fruit 2.5syns
Possibly a treat size milkyway at 3.5syns
Fruit to snack if needed

Wi first thing then to the dentist for a weird proceedure on my gum so I'll not be able to have a 'treat' post wi until the evening which is good as my weigh in days used to see me going crazy with food so hopefully this will prompt new habits.

Mummyme87 · 02/10/2016 15:57

First night shift since I've been back on SW. Took lots of fruit, hifi and a ready meal. I survived the tubs on M&S flapjacks!!!

Buttwing · 02/10/2016 17:05

Omg I know why I don't go out drinking very often! Nursing the hangover from hell and have been like the very hungry caterpillar all day!! Oh well as its the only way to get through the day I will draw a line under it tomorrow. On the plus side apart from the copious amount of wine I drank last night and the two cocktails and the vodka and diet cokes I was good with food. Chicken skewers it start with fish skewers (restaurant liked skewers!) on quinoa as a main and no dessert.

OwlinaTree · 02/10/2016 18:05

Well we were supposed to have sw pulled pork for tea, but came home to find dh had forgotten to turn the show cooker on! So that will be tomorrow's tea instead.

TheImprobableGirl · 02/10/2016 18:35

Which recipe do you use for the pulled pork owlina? It sounds delicious!!

OwlinaTree · 02/10/2016 20:01

Went on SW website and it was on there. Haven't tried it yet obviously!

FranklyMeDeer · 02/10/2016 20:51

Hello, adding my name to the losers, rejoined last week and first weigh in tomorrow. I've stuck to the plan like glue so hoping for a good loss, I have 6st I'd ideally like to shift to get me down to a healthy weight so a good kick start would make me really happy. Only hiccup might be the imminent arrival of my period leaving me a bit bunged up and bloated.

I lost about 1.5st a few years ago, and then almost 3st when I first did it 14 yrs ago, so I know it works for me.

maygirl · 02/10/2016 21:05

Hi newbies!
Bad pmt choc cravings today, went over syns with a penguin and some biscuits just cos they were there .
SP day,
B quark and grapenuts heB1 and raspberries
Body Pump
L heB2 wrap made into pizza with mozzarella heA, passatta and spring onion with a salad.
D campfire stew with brocolli, carrot and swede.
15.5 syns biscuits/penguin, 2 syns milk in coffee. Will have to have a few lower syn few days rest of week.
Satsuma + apple.
Making pea and ham soup for tomorrow with bit of today's gammon.

ALemonyPea · 02/10/2016 21:06

Oh grrr Owl! Id have been gutted. I loooooooove pulled pork.

Welcome Frank, the bloating might be SW related. I was bloated for my first few weeks and still managed a good loss. I've lost nearly 5 stone so far, out of a goal of 8.

OctoberOctober · 02/10/2016 23:18

Hi all. Trying to get back on the wagon after a fairly disastrous week - put on 4 pounds ffs. Mindless eating I think, not even like there were some enjoyably bad things in there like pizza and lots of choc!

Resuming food diary and have some meals planned, did neither of thee last week. Also planning to brave the work gym after work tomorrow - wish me luck!

Glad to hear lots of people losing, well done all of you. Halo

OwlinaTree · 03/10/2016 02:08

May Body pump! I used to love that! Back in PE children times when I went to the gym.

What is campfire stew, sounds intriguing?!

OwlinaTree · 03/10/2016 02:10

Should be pre children times. October sorry you've had a bad week. Fx for getting back on the waggon this week.

FranklyMeDeer · 03/10/2016 08:01

Wow lemony good for you, really good to hear that it can be done :)

It's so easy to fall off the wagon isn't it? New day new start (if only it was that easy Hmm Grin)
