Hey all, hope you don't mind if I join.

I bit the bullet and joined my local group, I need to loose weight, and needed motivation. I'm a bit nervous as have never followed a plan before and I'm still a bit confused about it, but here goes.

PositiveAttitude · 20/09/2016 21:55

Well chuffed with 3.5lb loss tonight!! Grin I was aiming to get off the 2lb gain last week after my birthday celebrations, so to get the extra 1.5 is brilliant! Oh and I also got club 10!

Frouby Flowers sorry that there is more waiting for you.

DDs are doing my head in tonight and now DH has just come in from work in a bad mood. I think I will head for bed and keep out of everyone's way. Tomorrow is another day and all that.....

EmilyK83 · 20/09/2016 22:20

Ooh good luck Bombay! If you need any advice, all these lovely lot in here are so helpful!

Positive, that's brilliant, well done!

Wips...are you eating enough? I don't think I could cope with that little food! For better losses, it's definitely worth making sure 1/3 of your plate is made up of speed food at every meal - are you having your healthy extras and syns too?

Morning all. Feeling good today!

Today's plan:

L - chicken, rice, SW coleslaw and salad
D - chicken pad Thai (2 syns for sauce) with lots of extra onion, mushroom and carrot
Sn - almonds (HEXB), packet of crisps (4.5syns), glass of milk (HEXA)

When I look at a meal plan like that, I wonder how I struggle to stay on plan as that is loads of food and I looking forward to every bit of it.

Bibs2014 · 21/09/2016 09:07

BasinHaircut · 21/09/2016 10:35

OrianaBanana · 21/09/2016 13:18

Hello! I'm getting back on track... again.

Going to a new group this evening and will sit in on the new members' talk as DH is home so don't have to drag DS along. I texted the group leader so I don't back out and decide I'm too tired (which I did the last three weeks). Apparently they have another pregnant lady there so maybe we can help each other.

Hope you're all OK. frouby I was really sorry to read your news Flowers

Buttwing · 21/09/2016 13:51

Oriana you are amazing doing it when you're pregnant!

Well done positive, bibs and lemony we will indeed be slinky by Christmas!!

I lost a pound today which I'm ok with as I've had two dodgy biscuit binges this week. Anyway onwards and upwards!

B- banana and hifi after weigh in
L-not had chance yet probably some kind of salad
D-chickpea, chorizo and chicken casserole with rice and broccoli

Buttwing · 21/09/2016 13:52

Sorry I missed frouby well done frouby, fab loss after such a shitty week.

WhatWouldCoachBombayDo · 21/09/2016 15:54

Hey can I ask for help with my lunch, not sure of it has a syn in it or is free.

White pasta, with chopped cucumber ,onion, tomatoes .Mixed with a tin of drained tuna (in brine) a splash of balsamic vinegar and a pinch of salt?

Does that sound ok?.

ALemonyPea · 21/09/2016 15:58

Sounds perfect, enjoy!

How many weeks are you now Oriana?

Mummyme87 · 21/09/2016 16:15

First weigh in tonight. I hate weighing at night as I'm on edge with what I eat for the whole day

WhatWouldCoachBombayDo · 21/09/2016 16:25

Thanks AL Smile

justamo · 21/09/2016 18:32

Yesterday was a wipe out. Actual food was on plan but was interspersed with chocolate binges. I am an all or nothing person.

Been to dentist today as my tooth pain was unbearable. I have an infection & require root canal treatment ...eeeek! Anyone had it? What should I expect?

Food today:
B - pear, yoghurt, sprinkle of muesli & drizzle of choc shot
L - ryvita, laughing cow, tomatoes, yoghurt
D - cous cous & leftover chilli with lots of veg in.
S - 2 mini packets of buttons.
Dreaded scales tomorrow.

EmilyK83 · 21/09/2016 19:07

Well done Bibs and frouby!

Ahhh just, hope they can treat you quickly! It's honestly not as bad as it probably sounds from Googling - I had one done a few years back - like any dental stuff you'll feel some pulling but it's pressure rather than pain as you're anaesthetised!

Feeling rubbish today - been working 12 hour days at least (I'm self-employed) and I think I'm burning myself out. Today's food so far...

B - none
L - chicken tom yum noodle pot from a new delivery service locally that I was asked to review - checked the ingredients and estimating 2 syns
D - leftover heck sausages (0.5) with loads of speed veg, tomatoes and paprika in a pasta sauce, wholewheat pasta, spinach on the side

Skinny latte as half HexA, cheese on my pasta as the other half. HexB will be cereal bars in front of Bake Off. And the way I'm feeling, I'll either go to bed early and have v few syns, or I'll end up bingeing - I'm wearing my tightest jeans in the hope it's the former...

emwithme · 21/09/2016 20:23

Well done Losers!!!

I had a mega NSV today. Having spent all currently 17 lbs day hitching my jeans up every time I stood up at work, I nipped into Asda on the way home...and I fit into a pair of size 12 jeans. This is the first time I've been a size 12 since my teens (and my next birthday will be the big 4-0h no) I'm so thrilled.

I also worked out that I am only currently 17lbs heavier than I was when I was 16 and had no boobs and when I get to target I'll only be 8 lbs heavier than I was then.

Today's food (SP day)

B: Eggy muffins
L: Tuna (steak, not tinned) salad, apple, pear, satsuma
D: Bolognaise sauce with roasted flat mushrooms
HEA: Milk
HEB1: Apricots
HEB2: Hifi bars

Am bloody knackered after dancing my way from the changing room to the checkout in Asda and grinning for three hours since so it's Bake Off (with hifi bar) and bed for me tonight, I think. Weigh in tomorrow morning...

ALemonyPea · 21/09/2016 20:42

HeA cheese with an apple
D salmon, pasta, brocolli, peas, pesto 2 syns

haveacupoftea · 21/09/2016 23:28

Hi all. 2lb off this week so i have gone from 17 st 10 on 30th August to 17 stone this week Smile

However, I have also discovered this week that I am pregnant! Going to keep at it as I would like to get my horrifically high BMI down a bit for booking in. But am on MFP so i can keep an eye i'm eating enough, and have added extra bread and milk to diet also. Won't be telling my consultant for a good while as am not even 4 weeks for another couple of days.

Hope everyone is doing well Grin
