B 1 scrambled egg, 1 syn butter,
Nectarine. 2 coffees, half heA
L leftover chickpea curry, rice with salad.
Half a HiFi found in my bag as a bit of heB.
Lidl skyr
D slow cooker beef curry, 0.5 syn. Brown rice, greens, cauli, green beans and carrots
4 syns of Froyo with strawberries (unfortunately not Choc as they never have it at my local waitroses anymore, one of them is right by a SW group Grin!)

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2016 06:50

Wips, you really need the books or the membership to keep you on track. You can get the books off EBay if you don't want to go to a meeting. I'd recommend going to a meeting though, just for the starter talk.

Raisins aren't speed, and half the stuff you've listed are syned stuff. You need more speed foods, including with the SW ready meal.

froubylou · 20/09/2016 07:09

Morning all

Was at my ndn ann summers party last night until 10.30pm so didn't have any tea. Had a handful of ds chippy chips about 5pm then a large scotch egg and a bag of crisps when I got home. Will be over on syns but will have to do. It's very rare I go out at all so a one off.

Todays plan is steak for tea as we still haven't had it. Not sure on lunch as I have to take my mum to get her results back from the hospital to see if she needs heart surgery and my sister gets her results back from the cancer hospital.

It's probably going to be a pretty shit day in the frouby house.

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2016 07:41

Thinking of you today Frouby 💐

BasinHaircut · 20/09/2016 08:20

Life just keeps getting in the way of SW for me! But drawing yet another line here
----
Today:
B - berries, banana and yoghurt (6syns)
L - don't know yet, might actually just have weetabix and milk
D - pulled pork, jacket potato (few syns for teeny bit of olive oil rubbed in) SW coleslaw, salad

Does anyone have any suggestions for lunch for me? Have both healthy extras available. Have a sainsbury's local and Tesco metro near to work. Don't want salad as having later. Was suppose to make lunch last night but completely forgot.

Feeling uninspired.

BasinHaircut · 20/09/2016 08:20

Oh and Flowers Frouby. Thinking of you today.

justamo · 20/09/2016 08:54

I'm struggling today. I'm tired, suffering with toothache & totm. I've just had 20 syns of chocolate for BREAKFAST! What's wrong with me?! I've blown today before it's begun Sad. There was a packet of biscuits incident last night too Blush. I'm off to work before I do any further damage. I'm hoping there isn't anything in the staff room for me to scoff.

EmilyK83 · 20/09/2016 11:31

Hope today is more positive than you think, frouby Flowers

Lemony - you'll be addicted to the froyo now, I reckon you should keep the other tub for yourself too Wink

How about making a SW quiche, Basin? Or a stir fry - it's my go to lunch...

Just - fill up on stuff that's free/speed so you hopefully won't be tempted!

Just back from weigh in, lost 1.5lb, nice to see a loss on the scales again but means I'm only 0.5lb above the bottom of my target. Guess I need to eat more this week!

Frouby Flowers

Just step away from the Chocolate

Emily you could always wear jeans and a big belt?

I am only not eating my body weight in chocolate today because I haven't got any and it's raining and the shop is too far away (and none of the lads at work will buy me any when they go because they are nice!)

Today's food (SP day):

B: Eggy muffins
L: Ham salad, apple, pear, satsumas
D: Tuna steak, mediterranean veg.
HEA: Milk
HEB1: Hifi bars.
HEB2: Cashew nuts. Or possibly Hifi bars if I haven't got out of my chocolate craving later.

Buttwing · 20/09/2016 12:40

Justamo some wise soul once said on this thread- if you dropped your phone on the floor and it cracked would you jump on it and smash it? So don't do it with food all is not lost!!!

Frouby thinking of you today hoping for a positive out come for both of themBlushFlowers

I'm so so tired today which is a really danger zone for me I always want sugar. I'm just trying to focus on getting weighed tomorrow and (hopefully) losing weight!

Buttwing · 20/09/2016 12:57

Frouby sorry about the Blushno idea where it came from!

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2016 13:47

2lb loss for me, please withnthat after my binge last Tuesday. I should be in the 13 stones next week. Excited by that!

Been for a walk with two friends this morning at a county park. Then to the cafe where I had a cheese scone with butter on syning as 19 syns as per app, will just use less syns the next few days and should be fine. So much better than last Tuesday when I ate 85 syns in one sitting Blush. I feel more in control this week.

Justamo, try not to fret. Start afresh tomorrow and forget about it today.

Emily, I am addicted. I can't have any today because of the scone, but think I'll save it for the weekend when my twatty BIL is here.

BasinHaircut · 20/09/2016 14:22

Thanks Emily, I'm at work so couldn't cook. Ended up getting a plain cheese sandwich from Sainsburys. Hoping my HEXA & B sort of covers it plus any syns I had left today. Should be ok I think. Will make sure to prepare lunch for tomorrow tonight.

Buttwing · 20/09/2016 15:03

If you have a sandwich on full size wholemeal bread you can use your heb plus two syns.

Well done lemony that's a fab loss.

BasinHaircut · 20/09/2016 16:12

Thanks Butt.

I'm not planning on any more syns today so hopefully I'm ok!

Tomorrow I'm fully on it. I feel like shite today and I know it's necause I've been eating rubbish

Buttwing · 20/09/2016 16:21

No probs basin what you eat makes such a difference to how you feel doesn't it? I've eaten too many biscuits today I'm over my syns and I feel really rubbish. I've drawn a line under it though I'm not having anything else bad today and I'm just going to have some soup tonight as I'm not feeling great.

froubylou · 20/09/2016 17:00

Thank you for your kind words everyone, they do mean a lot xx

My mum has to go back in a fortnight to see the cardI ology consultant. So no nes there.

The last biopsy they did on mu sisters thyroid came back as inconclusive again. They are certain it is cancer. But now suspect that the enlargement is a reaction to cancer elsewhere in her body. But they don't know where. She is to have a full ct scan in the next week and hopefully that will give us some answers. We just have to pray it is somewhere treatable. And that it isn't advanced. She has had no other symptoms so hopefully they will have caught it early.

My sister is generally naturally skinny and a bit run down. Always has been. If she were a dog she would be a whippet! So this might have helped her as in someone a bit.more robust like me the symptoms might not have shown up as soon.

That's my theory and I am sticking to it.

Had a ham salad sandwich today for lunch in case it was bad news and I couldn't face tea. It was a full sized wholemeal loaf so counting 3 syn's for the bread, 1 for the spread and 1 for the salad cream.

Then steak and salad for tea. Probably a few new potatoes.

And a big, fuck off gin.

Titsywoo · 20/09/2016 17:06

Back on the wagon today :)

No breakfast as no time
Lunch was raspberries then a pouch of uncle bens rice (3 syns)
Currently cooking a roast chicken for me and the kids and will have with mash and veg
Having a sneaking vodka and diet coke while I wait for that to cook (3 syns)
Will have a cheese sarnie later to use my HEXA and B

Bit low on syns? Or it is ok as long as it's between 5 and 15?

Also can I eat chicken that is cooked with the skin on but then it is removed?

Bibs2014 · 20/09/2016 18:14

Menu

Cereal, skimmed, latte
Salad
Stir fry

EmilyK83 · 20/09/2016 18:20

Frouby, hoping your family get more answers soon.

Nice loss Lemony! Well done! Sounds like you might need that froyo this weekend too...

Basin, it sounds like you made as good a choice as you could!

Em...I could...but I had a lunch meeting with a client today and may have had a pizza. And also may have bought some ice cream (rather than froyo) for a bit of decadence this evening... Smile

Oh and I made this today for lunches this week twochubbycubs.com/2014/11/04/super-speedy-just-like-heinz-tomato-soup/. It's very good :)

Titsywoo · 20/09/2016 19:22

And the quickest easiest soup ever!

BasinHaircut · 20/09/2016 20:44

Butt it really does! I had a nice healthy tea and did some exercise and I feel fantastic now! (Well sort of Grin) Why do we eat shite, I just feel groggy when I do.

I've made myself a lunch for tomorrow - chicken, rice, SW coleslaw and salad - all free/speed and just deciding what to get out of the freezer for tea.

WipsGlitter · 20/09/2016 21:04

I have the books. I can't do the meetings that approach just doesn't work for me. I think I'm just destined to be a slow loser!

WipsGlitter · 20/09/2016 21:11

Although I think today was better

B toast (hexB) butter 1 syn
S banana
L 2 x poached eggs and 1 grilled tomato
D baked potato with a 2 syn chicken thing from the SW magazine
