Hi all, could anyone give me some inspiration of what to eat on SP days? I've never done any but loved the idea of making the wholemeal pizza and getting 2x HEB! Also seem to have spent the last 6 weeks or so hovering up and down around the same weight after getting my club 10. Maybe I need some SP days to try and give me a boost to get back on it!
Tried a great overnight oats recipe from Chubby Cubs the other day....carrot cake flavoured: one grated carrot, 35g oats, vanilla muller light, 10 raisins ish (2 syns), sprinkle of cinnamon, half a mashed banana (didn't syn altho I guess technically you should). All mixed and left overnight, was bloody gorgeous! Really like carrot cake.
Food today:
B - porridge with 100ml ss milk (1/2 HEA), tsp brown sugar (1 syn), strawberries. Tea
L - pasta salad made with tinned mackerel, gherkins, tomatoes from greenhouse (yum!), cress, roasted peppers and 40g feta (2nd HEA as breastfeeding). Was a bit of a random one as in a rush to prepare a picnic so just shoved in whatever I could find, it was lovely though! Apple and grapes.
D - cottage pie made with 5% mince, sweet and normal potato top, peas and carrots, gravy powder (1 syn), tomato purée, beef stockpot and sprinkle of cheddar on top (other half HEA) served with runner beans and brocolli
Syns - lidl French fries (4.5 syns)
Salt and vinegar rice cake (2.5 syns)
Total 9 for the day. Pretty good. I've gone back to writing everything down again this week to try and get back in track, it seems to be helping.
