Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend!

I'd planned an off-plan day yesterday as was out shopping for my best friend's wedding dress with her (eek!) so I'd kept my syns very low all week to compensate. However, I actually ended up making a surprisingly SW-friendly choice for lunch (linguine with tiger prawns and crayfish in a tomato chilli sauce, delicious!) so even with half a portion of crispy squid to start with, and then some crisps, cheesecake and a few glasses of prosecco later, I think I'll be well under my syns for the week :) so hoping for a good loss tomorrow!

Today is:
B - Tesco melon pot
L - Turkey, bacon and sweet potato risotto (adapted from a Two Chubby Cubs recipe - really nice and got loads of leftovers for lunches)
D - not sure yet, maybe sausage and mash

Blueberry234 · 11/09/2016 14:10

B- raspberries and yoghurt
L- qourn burger wholemeal roll salad
D- chicken pilaf from SW recipe book extra easy express.

Off to kids party in a bit need to not pick

Bibs2014 · 11/09/2016 14:56

Sunday menu

Hex a cereal and hex b milk, brioche 6
Naked noodle pot for lunch 1.5
Nandos for dinner
Fruit and yoghurt

EmilyK83 · 11/09/2016 16:27

Mostly off plan (but not excessive) for me today, need to put a little weight back on before weigh in on Tues!

We were out and about at Bristol Doors Open Day - loads of buildings open to the public that aren't normally, so breakfast and lunch were both out and about...

B - lemon drizzle cake and a cup of tea
L - falafel and salads in pitta
Skinny latte as HexA
D - will be roast chicken, SW roasties, carrots, broccoli and stuffing made from defrosted Linda red onion and rosemary sausages. May make a syn-free gravy too...

Alpen Lights for HexB dessert if still hungry later!

I love Sunday's when it's lovely and we can go. Wish I could p,an ahead though. Missed breakfast and had had and early dinner before we all went out, was just grab and go really.

D: fruit, yoghurt, Alpen bars
T: SW beef stew and veg crush, sprouts, cauli, broccoli

Had some cake for syns.

maygirl · 11/09/2016 20:43

B heB grapenuts, ff yogurt, raspberries. HeA milk in hot drinks
L roast beef, SW roasties , 1.5 syn Yorkshire, gravy 1 syn, horseradish 2 syns worth, love it! Meringue nest 2.5 syn, ff yogurt, berries
D just fruit.

Went for 5 mile run with DS on his bike. Was feeling good until some git hurled fat abuse at me from his car Angry
I thought i wasn't letting it bother me but the shock and upset set off an immediate asthma attack. It was really scary. Its happened once before while running with a friend and telling her about an upsetting event, my throat just sealed over. I hardly ever have attacks, i go years with no issues, but must be an emotional asthmatic. Don't understand why some people get enjoyment from hurting others feelings like that Sad

justamo · 11/09/2016 20:56

Hugs and Flowers maygirl don't let some tosser in his car put you off. He's in a car cos he can't make the effort to walk, never mind run. I really don't understand such folk. Hold your head up high and carry on.

emwithme · 11/09/2016 20:57

People are tosspots, maygirl and this particular tosspot probably had a really small willy and doesn't know what to do with it.

Nandos was bloody great. Butterfly chicken (3 syns), 1/2 portion spicy rice (1 syn) 1/2 portion macho peas (1 1/2 syns), large salad (free) and about 2 syns of dressing/sauces caramel cheesecake, not sure how many syns but according to MFP, 570 calories and worth every single one (and even with this, I've stayed under 1600 calories today so I'm happy)

Now back home and have done the week's breakfast and lunch prep, and made DH's sandwich for tomorrow. Back to college tomorrow night - school bag is ready and packed for me to take out with me tomorrow morning, just need to take the floof off my top lip so I don't look like a teenage boy on my ID pass!

EmilyK83 · 11/09/2016 21:05

God may that's horrible, hope you're feeling better now? I always figure people like that obviously have something very wrong with themselves to hurl abuse like that! Anyone who's making the effort to get fitter should be applauded!

Ah May, ignore them, you're doing brilliantly. At least you're out jogging, rather than being a twat in a car.

maygirl · 11/09/2016 23:41

Thanks everyone! I'm fine now. It felt worse cos DS (age 10) was with me, most people were giving us smiles Smile , he looked cute on his bike! I've got a 10k next weekend, and he's doing a 3k.

I've decided to 'clean eat' my SW plan for a couple of weeks. I'm a bridesmaid then, and right now my weight loss has stalled and my skin is breaking out a bit. Want to be glowy!
I'm going to use my nutribullet in the morning but syn the fruit, really up my water and have a break from caffeine and booze. Bump up the beauty regime too!
I've got an SP beef salad for lunch at work and have prepped the ingredients for a slow cooker beef and lentil curry to shove on in morning. Mondays are busy as DD has dancing straight from school and we get home 30 mins before DS has to be at cubs, so dinner needs to be ready!

EmilyK83 · 12/09/2016 08:20

Sounds good may - good luck!

Today's plan for me:

B - satsumas
L - chicken laksa noodle pot, veg sticks
D - Birds eye salmon inspirations, mash and veg

Skinny latte as HexA, cereal bars as HexB. No idea about syns...

Hi chums! Just posting for a bit of support. Been of the SW wagon for a few weeks , been a bit of an emotional roller coaster, but instead of doing the sensible thing of looking after myself, I've just gone on an all out food frenzy! Of course didn't make me feel any better and I felt guilty so didn't go to group. Any ways enough is enough, going back tonight but just feel a bit stupid as its a cycle I seem to repeat and I'm sure my leader and fellow group mates must think I'm a waste of time. Am really feeling glum.

Bibs2014 · 12/09/2016 08:42

Maygirl - what a twat that guy was. So rude and you were with your son at the time? Asshole.
Flowers for you.

Mummyme87 · 12/09/2016 09:30

First post here is months, maybe since March. I lost 1.5stone early in the year, fell off the wagon and have piled it back on. I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks as I am too scared but can feel it in my clothes!

Will be rejoining on wednesday. My DS is 2yrs and 2months so starting to think about another baby and don't want a BMI over 30 when I get pregnant. I have an incentive

ALemonyPea · 12/09/2016 10:46

Welcome newbies.

Going to an intense exercise class tonight. if I don't return to this thread, I'm likely dead. Bought some new crop running trousers, in my usual size, stupidly took the tags off and tried them on, they're ridiculously big. Will have to go buy new ones.

B: porridge and fruit
D: subway salad (my new addiction)
T: spag Bol

MollyRedskirts · 12/09/2016 11:19

No-one, NO-ONE should ever feel embarrassed about rejoining and starting again. It's the bravest thing you can do and it doesn't matter how often you've done it. It's easy to give up. We're all trying. We'll all get there.

May, that's dreadful. May that man's shoes always be slightly too small.

froubylou · 12/09/2016 12:08

May he is an absolute utter wankerbastard.

I hope his knob goes gammy and he gets warts on his bum hole. Knobhead.

No plan yet for today as need to go shopping.

Have gotten lots of body magic in though by blitzing house from top to bottom in 2.5 hours while ds was at nursery! Debating pulling furniture out and doing skirting boards this afternoon or tidying up the garden.

BasinHaircut · 12/09/2016 14:07

Hello all.

The weekend was bad Blush. But we had such a lovely time that I'm my really that bothered! Back on it today.

B - weetabix and milk
L - omelette, beans and salad
D - falafel with rice and salad

Doing run 2 of week 4 c25k too.

Won't weigh myself this week again as I'm likely carrying weight from the weekend but hopefully it will all fall off again during the week. Drinking loads of water today too!!

ALemonyPea · 12/09/2016 16:48

I wish SW would come up with a savoury version of hifi bars that I could eat for my HEB. Something like crackers, or popcorn. My diet would be much easier then.

Exciting NSV for me today. I am now fitting quite nicely in size 16 clothes. Given I was more or less ready to go into a size 22 in April, I am thrilled.

Missikat · 12/09/2016 17:03

Oki

maygirl · 12/09/2016 17:27

What about a pack of Ryvita Minis for HeB Lemony? Or Corn Thins- a bit popcorn like!!
Thanks everyone, made me laugh!!

Buttwing · 12/09/2016 17:27

May what an utter fuckwit. I bet he probably couldn't run ten steps!
Lemony sorry I forgot to say thanks for the froyo advice just goes to show you can't rely on calorie content, think I will stick to the chocolate. I found dd eating it out of the pot with a spoon the other day I was not impressedHmm

I've tried a new recipe today- chicken, chorizo and chickpea casserole it's really really good and only 3.5 syns (chorizo) for whole pot that serves 4.

maygirl · 12/09/2016 17:28

Well done on the NSV!
