Morning All! I've rejoined after the summer 10.5lb on so onwards and upwards from here!

MollyRedskirts · 10/09/2016 10:00

Morning! Weight in for me in a bit. I am so nervous because I really want a good loss! Please remind me later that I've seen visible changes to my body shape this week, so it doesn't matter if the scales don't say what I want them to.

JOEYDOESNTSHAREFOOD · 10/09/2016 10:06

Woohoo!!!!!! 3lbs off! Makes 9lbs in two weeks. Very happy! Grin

JOEYDOESNTSHAREFOOD · 10/09/2016 10:08

Good luck Molly!

RavenQueen · 10/09/2016 10:25

Think I may just stick to my normal then. It's been a mad rush this morning so no time for anything!!! No breakfast or even a drink so far today.

SnowInLove · 10/09/2016 10:57

That's brilliant, well done JOEY!

Just had my first weigh in and lost 6.5lbs...very happy with that :).

MollyRedskirts · 10/09/2016 11:02

Well done Joey!

I am pissed off (sat waiting for the meeting to start) so I'm glad I posted earlier. 1.5lbs off. I was expecting 2lbs at least, after six days of SP. I'm annoyed that I get a 'normal' loss, that others get easily on Extra Easy, and I've had to fight hard to achieve that. Comparison is the thief of joy and all that; it's annoyance at myself, not others.

But... I did get my Club 10!

RavenQueen · 10/09/2016 11:16

Woo hoo congratulations everyone on their losses today Grin

missmillimentscardigan · 10/09/2016 11:17

Well done everyone. Don't feel too disappointed molly - 1.5lbs is still really good and you're getting closer to target all the time.
Had my first wi on Thurs - 3.5lbs down, so was quite pleased with that. I'm hosting an afternoon tea today and I'm kind of stressing about what to eat. Think I might allow myself a small piece of cake and a glass of prosecco. I need to remember that it's not a 'treat' to eat high fat foods and that I'm actually treating myself if I eat more healthily because I felt pretty good on plan last week, knowing that I was going in the right direction weight-wise. I need to fight the urge to think that if I've had a piece of cake then I may as well have a scone and a few sandwiches as well Confused

EmilyK83 · 10/09/2016 12:44

Well done Joey, Molly and Snow - brilliant losses!

Hi Name!

Today's plan for me:

B - none (got up late...)
L - cottage cheese, laughing cow extra light (1) sandwich on HexB bread, cherry tomatoes, sugar snaps
D - SW burger, SW chips, salad and HexA cheese

May syn a skinny latte in town later.

Since reaching target on Tues, I've had 1 meal out and upped my syns to 20 a day. Had a cheeky weigh this morning and I still seem to be half a pound down on Tues :-/

I had bought one of these rolls from lidl. Can I class it as my health B option or do I need to syn it? If so, how many syns? Help appreciated ladies x

ALemonyPea · 10/09/2016 14:06

Well done Joey, and well done Molly on your club 10.

Apollo, check the app for the roll, might not be a HEB.

Feeling starving today, no idea why, so drinking loads and have had so much speed .

B: 2 hifi bars, nectarines, orange
D: game and pease pudding salad, melon, yoghurt
T: M&S skinny burgers, sweet potato wedges, salad, corn on the cob

justamo · 10/09/2016 16:08

Rejoined Thursday and immediately went off plan (big time) for 2 days, what am I like?! Trying to get back to it today and do a meal plan for the week, lots of good ideas on the thread, thank you.
Today is looking like this...
B - fruit & yoghurt
L - baked beans, ham & egg
T - Diet Coke chicken & rice
S - fruit, black coffee, green tea, water.
Having written that I realise that I don't have either hexA or B. Do I eat them for the sake of it?

EmilyK83 · 10/09/2016 17:32

Lemony - did you have a big meal last night? If so, your stomach might have temporarily stretched and made you hungrier!

Looks good, Just, is there any speed with lunch and dinner? Definitely makes a difference to losses if 1/3 of your plate is speed, replacing other stuff!

I wouldn't have your HexA and HexB just for the sake of it...but on the plus side, it means you can treat yourself to cheese on toast if you're still hungry later Wink

Great losses ladies!
Forgot to post yesterday, today i'm doing SP and have saved healthy extras so can have homemade pizza tonight with heB dough and mozzarella.
B raspberries and quark, nectarine
L chicken and peppers
Milk 2 syns
D will be heBx2 pizza with heA mozzarella, veggies and half plate salad
10 syns of white wine.
Found the recipe I use the franks Buffalo sauce in, its last Oct SW mag, southern style chicken with Buffalo sauce. The sauce is so good, 1 tbsp cider vinegar, 1 tbsp Worcester sauce, 1 tsp salt, 3 tbsp Franks sauce/ hot chilli pepper sauce, 1 tbsp (or more/less to taste) sweetener

maygirl · 10/09/2016 18:21

Emily are you going to send your story to SW mag?!

ALemonyPea · 10/09/2016 18:21

Molly, re not having a big loss on 6'days SP, what did you have on an average say?

Didn't have a big meal last night, but think I just had my breakfast too late. All good now.

MollyRedskirts · 10/09/2016 18:28

Lemony, breakfast was quark with berries. I had soup a few times that I made with only speed veg, with red lentils and chickpeas for the protein. Tea tended to be meat based like spag bol, with cougette subbed for pasta, or swede subbed for potatoes. I didn't have any non-speed free food, but I did have a full 15 syns for 4 days, went over to 25 on one day, and managed 11 on another. I know it's my syns that's the problem, I struggle to keep within them even on an EE day and always have.

ALemonyPea · 10/09/2016 18:52

I eat my 15 syns nearly every day though, so ght not be that. Maybe you weren't eating enough.

I've stopped doing SP days as didn't have any effect on my weight loss.

EmilyK83 · 10/09/2016 19:21

Ooooooh may thanks for posting that sauce recipe, I've screenshotted it to try! Sounds amazing!

Erm...I could do I guess! Although may wait until my group time and location have been confirmed, hehe...want as many members as possible in my first group in Jan! Wink

Emily you decided to go for it and become a consultant?! Really pleased for you I think you will be fab I find you very motivating.

I'm absolutely knackered but had a fab party toddlerwing really enjoyed it. I had lots of his friends from nursery over who's parents I don't really know, I made sw beef and bean chilli for all the grownups and four different mums said "oh no thanks I'm doing slimming world" when I offered them some, they were so pleased when I told them it was syn free!!

I have gone over my Syns a bit today but I'm ok with that because this time last week it would have been so so much worse!

EmilyK83 · 10/09/2016 21:04

Yep Butt, I'm so excited about it...and thank you! That means a lot! Glad the party went well, sounds like SW acted as a bonding tool too! 😊

Well done for the losses yesterday.

__

That is my line drawn!!!!! 3 days of birthday celebrations and I need to now get back on it and do damage limitation. I am expecting a gain on Tuesday, but it will be my first gain since I started in the middle of July and it was a big birthday - well, you have to celebrate the half century, don't you! It was all lovely and the cake is all now gone last wedge eaten just before midnight so that I didn't have it for breakfast and could start back on it today Blush
I am going to dread the WI on Tuesday, but hey ho!!!

Plan today:
B - Fruit and yogurt
L - Salad with cheese (heA) and egg
D - Heck paprika sausages, which are my new favourite thing with Jacket spud and veg.
Snack - scan bran chocolate cake (heB)
And loads of water drinking today, too.
Not sure on syns yet, but will try to minimise them and stick to fruit, but often like a bag of Aldi fries for 3.5 syns during the evening.

Happy Sunday, everyone.

froubylou · 11/09/2016 09:19

Morning all

Well done losers, some fantastic losses there.

I had a reasonable day yesterday. Dp went to chippy at lunch and I just had a handful of chips. Steak, salad and new potatoes for tea and hifi bars with fruit and yog for afters.

The coconut hifi are gorgeous crumbled up with fresh raspberries and yogurt. It tasted like those little ruffle bars! Sad I am on the last box.

Out and about most of today so not planned yet. Chicken dinner for tea about 5 so will probably just chuck a bit of fruit in my bag.

emwithme · 11/09/2016 10:57

Well done losers!

Have been having the period from hell the past couple of days, but am very proud of myself as I didn't jump into a vat of carbs or chocolate (I was drooling over the thought of a chocolate belgian bun at one point...can you even get chocolate belgian buns?). Had steak for tea last night which helped, and hifi bars as my chocolate fix.

Off out bra and sofa shopping today (what a combination, eh, and such an exciting life I lead!) and then out for dinner.

Today's food:

Brunch: Mushroom omelette
Dinner: Nandos (probably butterfly chicken, spicy rice, corn, salad)
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars or cashew nuts.
