Wowwwwww well done Lemony!

I think fast forward does still exist, they just don't talk about it in group as it's so restrictive and only for special circumstances?

Yep, did go to the consultant opportunity thing - all sounded pretty good so have said I'm interested. The only issue would be stumpin up the cash, but I've said that if I got through interview etc I wouldn't be able to start till Jan...

froubylou · 01/08/2016 21:16

Well done Lemony, that's a cracking loss!

My tea was redeemed by sending dd across to subway for a boxed salad to share with our tea. It's about the only fast food I have from our parade of chains and yummy takeaways.

Guinea pigs got the manky veg.

That's what you get for buying from a market stall these days. A half head of very limp yellowing broccoli and a suspect looking cauliflower.

Not optimistic for a loss this week. I won't be Wi until thursday teatime as we are out at a county show all day Wednesday. Not competing so plenty of time for scoffing.

Hoping to find a sw meal of some sort. But if I don't I am not going to worry. It's the school holidays so everything is off kilter. I have 5lbs to get to the next stone bracket and would be chuffed to bits to get that by the first weekend in September when we go away for a long weekend.

Am setting that as an interim target just to keep me motivated rather than going 'fuck it' and falling completely off plan.

puppydogmummy · 01/08/2016 21:25

Yay! 2lb off today and really enjoyed meeting and good gossip with group members 😀 yummybdinner of stir fry rice and salted chilli tofu with some watermelon to cool of my mouth as I went a bit overboard with the chilli .

MollyRedskirts · 01/08/2016 21:48

Well done, losers!

I did a mega Aldi shop and managed to find time to make a huge pan of chicken noodle soup, which we had for tea and it'll do me for tomorrow's lunch too. I find it so much easier to stay on plan when I have an easy to grab meal for lunch, instead of trying to faff around cooking with a whingy baby gripping my ankles!

Twinklestar2 · 01/08/2016 22:03

I've been away but am back on it from tomorrow Smile

Is Aldi no added sugar muesli and Aldi lighter granola classed as Hex B?

EmilyK83 · 01/08/2016 22:07

That's brilliant, well done puppy! Glad you have a lovely group too Smile

Twinkle...i can't find an Aldi muesli or granola as a HexB on the app. Do you know which of their brands they both are?

Twinklestar2 · 01/08/2016 22:08

Harvest Morn...

Fikee · 01/08/2016 23:43

Evening all. Interesting to hear the talk of the old plan, I always thought sw sounded like such a faff when it was red and green days.
I'm still being super good to make up for holiday excess-
B- Apple
L- salad with chicken, ham and a little salad cream
D- 2x poached eggs, beans and grilled mushrooms.
Hexa- milk in tea. Hex b- I slice wholemeal toast and a hifi bar.
Syns- just caved and ate a penguin 5.5

EmilyK83 · 02/08/2016 06:57

Sorry Twinkle, doesn't look like either is a b choice Sad

Twinklestar2 · 02/08/2016 07:40

Thx Emily for checking Smile

MollyRedskirts · 02/08/2016 07:58

I remember red and green, it wasn't that bad. I loved green days for the cheese, so I'd happily forgo meat in order to have what felt like mega amounts of cheese, as you could have it for A and B choices.

emwithme · 02/08/2016 09:25

YY I'd forgotten that, Molly no wonder I can't make my "used to be free on green" mac and cheese properly on EE! Two A choices and two B choices for cheese (well, one for milk, three for cheese) meant I could make it properly cheesy!

I apologise to anyone in the South West, particularly those in the Cornish peninsula, for DH's aberrant weather system. You never get normal weather on annual camp, it's either so hot the cadets are fainting everywhere and getting heatstroke and sunburn (because they are teenagers who don't want to wear a hat or enough sun cream) or it's pissing it down with rain - no middle ground of "nice day, bit cloudy though". It's obviously option 2 this year.

Today's food:

Breakfast: Brekkie muffins
Lunch: Ham salad, apple, pear, satsumas.

Dinner: Salmon fillet, mediterranean rice, mushrooms.

HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars.

froubylou · 02/08/2016 09:34

Morning all

Big shop today! Am debating menu plans atm. Tomorrow will be a write off for cooking as out most of the day. But I am going to be on it the rest of the week.

Fancy shepherds pie tonight. It's a gloomy pie sort of day.

Lunch will probably be ryvitas. Or some other type of B choice.

Breakfast was coffee.

Am also going to get some frozen berries I think and start having breakfast. Am rubbish at breakfast but theN I sometimes skip lunch and am picking come 4pm. Usually at ds tea which isn't good.

Sixpencenonethericher · 02/08/2016 10:47

Morning I've had 4 bad days but I'm back to being good now

chough · 02/08/2016 10:51

Morning , all.
Mr chough and I had the breakfast muffins/ quiches this morning, as per em's recipe, and very nice they were, too. Good to have saved our "b" choices, as we usually have cereal or something with toast.
frouby, RE the breakfast thing: my consultant was speaking in group this week about the importance of having breakfast to boost weight loss.
She recommended that we have breakfast within half an hour to an hour of getting up, to switch on metabolism, even if it's just a bit of fruit.
Emily, it would be interesting to hear about any developments if you decide to pursue being a SW consultant: I should think it's very rewarding, but hard work with the commitment you would need.

EmilyK83 · 02/08/2016 11:37

I'll keep you posted Chough!

So...weigh in this morning and a 1.5lb loss. Now 1lb to go to my 4.5 stone award, and 8lb to target...a few meals out planned for this week, but going to try and do a few scan bran days in between to try and make up for it!

Emptynestx2 · 02/08/2016 11:59

Well done everyone on your losses and very reasonable small gains from holidays!

I'm weighing myself tomorrow morning so fingers crossed its a couple of pounds off, I'm rubbish at weekends but really good Monday to Friday!

abigwideworld · 02/08/2016 12:21

maygirl I have just over 12 weeks left to go :) hoping to bf so will deffo look forward to those extra healthy As! It's the extra B choice I'll miss though Sad

Chough fast forward does still exist, a girl in my group did it the other month. Haven't really seen her since the week after now I think of it though. I thought it sounded horribly restrictive. She did have a big loss but I don't think it's worth it!

froubylou · 02/08/2016 14:14

Oh my days.

Remembered that pate recipe. It's loverly if you like fish!

2 small pots of natural ff Greek yoghurt.
2 tins of mackerel in tomato sauce
7 crabs ticks

Lob all ingredients in food processor and whizz until you have the desired texture. I went for slightly coarse.

Just had it for lunch on ryvitas but you could also have it with crudités.

chough · 02/08/2016 14:21

frouby, I'll remember to get back to that pate recipe next time I'm making something for a group taster: it sounds nice.

Twinklestar2 · 02/08/2016 15:35

I had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and pasta and salad for lunch. Still got my Hex A and Hex B! What can I have, so used to having cereal and milk in the morning Smile

chough · 02/08/2016 16:03

Twinkle, do the "a" and "b" choices fit in with your evening meal, eg cheese on pasta, or some bread with your meal.
Otherwise, cheese on toast as a bedtime snack?

PositiveAttitude · 02/08/2016 16:30

Frouby that pate sounds really nice. Thanks for the recipe, I will try that one.

WI tonight and I am stupidly excited as I am hopeful for a good loss - but then I am scared cos if it is not as good as I hope for I will be gutted. Then out for a meal with friends.

Comeonmommy · 02/08/2016 18:16

I've ruined today :(

B - Fruit and yoghurt
L - chicken and pepper frittata
D - will be chicken, rice and salad

Sounds great doesn't it????

Apart from the mini ice cream, 2 packs of chewitt and the mini twix I have eaten :(. Shoot me now......

Twinklestar2 · 02/08/2016 18:39

Having homemade burgers and sw chips so will use HexB on wholemeal roll Smile
