This isn't a scientific fact but it am weighing 2 lbs heavier today than yesterday. The only thing I have had different is lots of fluid and sweated an awful lot. I suspect that I am.retaining water because of the heat.

Could the 2 lbs be part water retention maybe?

WingDefence · 07/06/2016 20:54

Hopefully you'll lose it and more next week sparkle!

I'll have a look Butt (or can I call you wing too?!) next time I'm in there.

I've just done my second session of Davinia Fit in 15. With a hormonal migraine starting so I only did one 15 min session as my head was starting to pound. First fitness DVD I've ever used and I like Davina in long lost family so I'm finding her quite entertaining. Perhaps after weeks of doing it it'll start to grate or maybe I'll just ignore the interjections and get on with the exercises.

Nelly1990 · 07/06/2016 21:37

I had my first weigh in tonight and only lost 0.5lbs. I feel like giving up

WingDefence · 07/06/2016 21:52

Oh Nelly don't give up. Are you going to a group? What did your consultant say?

I can't log in tonight as the sites down. Bit frustrating...

Buttwing · 07/06/2016 22:38

Nelly don't give up! It can happen like that sometimes stick with it and hopefully you should have a decent loss next week

Wing I've never been on a thread with another wing before, I quite like it!! I will answer to anything.

So dp has gone to a ridiculously gorgeous and glam restaurant for dinner tonight so I popped to the supermarket earlier and got a pack of six small packets of chocolate buttons in (4 syns each) thought I would have a sweet treat after dinner.
I ate them all.
I have no self controlBlush

maygirl · 07/06/2016 23:07

Well done on the weight losses!
B weetabix and milk heA +b, banana,
Ryvita minis 4.5 syns. Melon strawberries
Pastrami and tomatoes
D smoked haddock, new potatoes, peas, carrots, broccoli 1/2 tsp of butter 1 syn
Low fat custard 4.5 syns.
Weigh in tomorrow, not expecting a loss after hol last week.
Good luck everyone

calzone · 07/06/2016 23:51

Courgette porridge is just cooed porridge with A grated courgette in it. A good way to add speed to a meal.
Sometimes I add carrots and then loads of fruit.
It's delicious.

Good luck with weigh in, may!

Had a bit of a synful meal out last night - was as good as I could be with my starter and main (crab salad followed by kedgeree) but had to have a lemon posset for dessert and bread with butter during my meal...was a review meal, though, so it was work - that's my excuse!!

No other syns or healthy extras yesterday, though, so hopefully not too bad.

Today's plan:

B - fruit and sweetened quark with half HexB pistachios
L - homemade falafel with SW tzatziki and salad
D - a rosemary, goats cheese and chicken macaroni cheese from the Two Chubby Cubs site (3 syns per portion) and spinach and cabbage on the side

Skinny latte as HexA, other half HexB of pistachios to snack on. And a 2 syn Options in the evening for a sweet treat...

WingDefence · 08/06/2016 09:27

Emily you're good, planning ahead. I don't tend to plan ahead much but manage to stick to on-plan food 99% of the time because SW is all about the basics, isn't it?
Having said that...
B 2x scan bran with muller light and a banana. No speed I know but I need to go shopping for fruit.
L Will be a salad of some description
D Hopefully cauli pizza although it'll be a rush tonight so not sure I'll actually be able to make it :( Do you think I can make the base in advance?

Still got a thumpin headache and tons of work to do today. Time of the month as well so I'm ragey and want peanut m&ms... Angry

emwithme · 08/06/2016 09:58

Well done Tuesday Losers and Good Luck Wednesday Weighers!

Nelly keep on sticking to the plan, did you do a food diary for your consultant? Weigh and measure all your syns and healthy extras? Hopefully your consultant will come back with some pointers for you... and hopefully it will show on the scales this week, when you ARE eligible for Slimmer of the Week!

Having another SP day today ahead of tomorrow morning's WI.

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins
Lunch: Ham salad, apple, pear, satumas
Dinner: Bolognaise sauce with squoodles. Oodles of squoodles!

HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars.

EmilyK83 · 08/06/2016 10:25

Wing - I've planned all of my meals through to Saturday lunchtime - partly because I'm a bit anal, partly because it saves us money! And with dp having lost his job a few weeks back, I'm trying to save wherever possible...

Cauli pizza shouldn't take long to make - you could always grate the cauli and chop your toppings in advance, though, meaning it just needs assembling and cooking when you have time?

froubylou · 08/06/2016 11:28

Whoop whoop. Another 2lb off. Meaning my official loss is 13lbs though it's actually a few lbs more due to starting at home before signing up. Really pleased with that. Especially as I had 2 days a bit off plan last week.

B. Coffee
L. Salad of some sort, possibly turkey.
T. Bbq so lean meat and salad again.

Hot weather is good for sw lol.

WingDefence · 08/06/2016 11:45

Not sure Emily - I may have to have pasta or something or syn a couple of slices and have another huge salad (I don't like the DCs to think I'm eating differently so most of the time we all eat SW meals; I'm glad they are so family friendly). I've got two cauliflowers in the kitchen so I've got to use them at some point!

Sorry to hear about your DP's redundancy :(

Well done froubylou and I agree about hot weather!

ALemonyPea · 08/06/2016 13:35

Well done losers.

Had a crap day yesterday. Ate my weight in biscuits Blush. Back on it today though.

B: Melon and yoghurt
D: mushroom and chive omelette
T: spaghetti bolognese with HEA cheese

Snack: Alpen bar for HEB.

EmilyK83 · 08/06/2016 14:18

Well done frouby!

WingDefence · 08/06/2016 16:55

Half way through pizza prep and I'm just putting on the tomato purée plus hexa 40g reduced fat cheese. Frying some heck sausages and will put one or two on top. Excited!

WingDefence · 08/06/2016 17:02

Before putting back in the oven alongside DH and DCs' proper pizzas. Could be interesting - hope it doesn't burn too much Confused

Looks lovely Wing.

I've decided to have an SP day today, so no pasta with my bolognese and had courgette, mushrooms and peppers instead. Still have 2 HEB to have though, not sure what to have, porridge maybe. I could make baked oats, but use yoghurt for that. Hmm decisions decisions.

froubylou · 08/06/2016 17:35

Arrrggghhhg I bloody hate my group sometimes. All passive aggressive comments on fb page atm about people not staying to group and how we are supposed to help and support each other. Last time I stopped I had to leave because ds was kicking off and I got a pa comment off the group leader so haven't attempted to stop since.

Plus they bore the arse off me lol.

Colourfulpast1975 · 08/06/2016 17:51

Froubylou- I have stayed only once at meeting...the leader is not very nice and quite abrupt...she is trying to be nice but doesn't seem genuine. I pay, get weigh in then off I go..I know I must try to make an effort

froubylou · 08/06/2016 17:57

It seems very hit and miss on how good your group is. I used to go to a lovely one when ds was tiny and I know he would probably be ok there even now but we moved so it's a bit far to go.

This group leader is very boring and not particularly helpful I don't think from what I have seen when I have stopped. She let's people waffle on about what they have eaten to cause a St's or a gain rather than focus on what they should be eating etc.

And she can't speak in public very well either. Mumbles and losses her way so I wouldn't stop if I could!

Colourfulpast1975 · 08/06/2016 18:06

My group leader bit my head off because I tried to pay at 19.27 instead of 19.30...I was a complete newbie and there were lots of people which I thought had already paid..not waiting to pay. It was an easy mistake to make ! I felt like a complete twat !! Anyway enough with my rambling :)

Buttwing · 08/06/2016 18:35

Colourful- oooh I bet you were in big trouble!!!! There is an invisible sitting down queue at our group, I swear some of them get there an hour early!!

Ladies I need you to wish me luck, I'm going to need it two out of my four children have come out in chicken pox this afternoon. At least five days stuck inSad I hope they don't get it too badly this could be a disaster for my weightloss!! The pharmacist has told me to keep them cool, how the heck Im Suppose to do that when its so muggy and 25 degrees I don't knowConfused

Anyway a good day today-

B- coffee
L-chicken salad and melon
D-beef stir fry with courgetti

froubylou · 08/06/2016 19:06

In our queue you have queue holders. 1 stands in the queue the others sit down gossiping. Then 2 people before they get to the front 5 others join them and queue jump.

The leader also moaned a few weeks ago that there wasn't enough fruit put in for slimmer of the week and that even if you weren't staying you should tip up.

Yeah love. So it looks more tempting to people buying raffle tickets and you benefit from that.
