Not been on here for ages, been mega busy and had family staying over .
Did some nice SW meals for them , this mobile.slimmingworld.co.uk/recipes/view-recipe/roast-lamb-with-a-curried-crust. Was gorgeous and easy to leave cooking itself. Also did the Thai seared beef and veg stir fry out of this months mag.
Was our wedding anniversary and I enjoyed some champagne and cake so not expecting a loss this week.

B poached egg on heB bread
Banana and yogurt snack
L chicken tikka drumsticks with huge salad+ h/m coleslaw 1.5 syn for dressing.
HeA milk.
D will be fajita chicken with veg stir fry. Mini wraps for kids. I'll do rice for me if feeling super hungry.
Syns on pack ryvita minis later after late dance class when always get the munchies.

Good luck all weighing in!

ALemonyPea · 05/07/2016 14:11

1.5lb lost, and got my 2 stone award Grin. Celebrated by having a small slice of my mams Victoria sponge cake sans cream. Blush

Bumped into my old boss and she commented how well I looked, so feeling great.

B: fruit and hifi bar at group
D: tuna and egg salad
T: leftover chicken curry with new potatoes

Syns on some pufts and unsure how much in cake, so ignoring that as it was within an hour of my SW meeting.

Comeonmommy · 05/07/2016 15:53

It's all going wrong Angry. I've been at a particularly horrid but very important hospital consultation which has left me really stressed out. As syns so far today I've had......drifter (5 syns), breakfast bar (6), 2 spoonfuls of Nutella (3). I know it's only 14 but I am making no promises I have finished for the day. I hate that I stress eat and will hate myself if I don't loose in the scales Sunday nightSad

pippinandtog · 05/07/2016 16:00

nomoreheroes, re the wine: it's a scientific fact that willpower is soluble in alcohol.
Comeonmommy, be kind to yourself. Comfort food sounds in order, perhaps a big plate of SW chips.

WingDefence · 05/07/2016 17:27

Oh I could kill for a big plate of SW chips!

Lunch was cod (asked for no sauce) plus plain rice and veg. Will count a few syns for any oil that may have crept in. And the sweets I ate in the conference. And the two tasting chocolates at Hotel Chocolat when I was in there buying teachers gifts... Oops.

Think I'll count 15 for today and hope the food on the train home isn't too bad!

I'm not doing very well for someone who put a pound on last week am I? Hmm

WingDefence · 05/07/2016 18:16

And sorry well done ALemon and don't sabotage yourself Comeon!

So train food all rubbish (sandwiches, deli box, all high syn) so going to pop into my local smallish Sainsburys on the way home. What can I get to cook when I get home that's quick and preferably synless? I did cook some Heck zesty chicken sausages yesterday and also have half a butternut squash in.

froubylou · 05/07/2016 18:29

Hello all

Been a funny day. Very busy again which means I don't eat much.

B. Coffee
L. Hifi bar
T. Sw chilli and rice. Syns will be a bit of cheese on my chilli and possibly a hifI lite later.

Wi tomorrow!

WingDefence · 05/07/2016 18:50

Good luck tomorrow frouby!

Big accident has closed he road home so not going to sainsburys. Sounds very serious :( I'm starving though (we normally eat 5-5:30) so am getting a bit hangry!

pippinandtog · 05/07/2016 18:57

Wing, limited ingredients there, then: cold Heck sausages and butternut squash chips?

profpoopsnagle · 05/07/2016 19:17

1lb off for me today at WI. This means I am now at my lowest weight I have been for the last 15 months, so, so long as I lose next week I will have broken a major barrier. Don't think I will now be at goal for my holiday but every half pound down counts.

Also tried the lentil and smoked haddock recipe which I think Emily posted a few weeks go, was very nice and something different with haddock, I normally make them into fishcakes.

Trying to menu plan for next week but feeling a bit meh with meals- want to try some new things but also feeling so jaded now it's the end of term I CBA to cook!

PositiveAttitude · 05/07/2016 20:54

Whooohoooo!!!! 3lb off tonight at WI and Slimmer of the week. Grin Won a nice box of fruit which will save me ££ this week.

And just had the Quark white chocolate mousse with raspberries.....twas yum!!!

ALemonyPea · 05/07/2016 21:06

Well done Positive.

ComeOn, draw a line under today and start again. I'm a huge (fatty bum bum) comfort eater, which I am trying my hardest at times to rein in. You're only human and therefor not perfect and will make mistakes.

emwithme · 05/07/2016 21:11

Well done Positive and Lemony (and any other losers I may have missed)

I am trying very hard not to have sneaky three times daily weighs this week. I haven't stepped on any scales since the ones at group last Thursday. I feel ridiculously out of control, even though I haven't eaten anything off plan and have written everything down in my journal.

Today was an SP day (as will tomorrow, I really want my 3 stone on Thursday before my holidays, only a lb to go)

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins
Lunch: Ham salad, apple, pear, satsumas
Dinner: Left over curry, mushrooms, butternut squash noodles
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Lifeisontheup2 · 06/07/2016 04:09

This is my first day shift since starting SW and I really can't face the thought of breakfast at 4am. I've put a yogurt and an apple in my bag which I will try and eat before my shift starts at 6.
On the positive side, I'm on the last hole in my uniform belt with ease today so even if I haven't lost the pounds clothes are getting looser.

WingDefence · 06/07/2016 09:30

Well done for losses and looser clothes!

I got back and had that half a butternut squash with some SW curried mince I'd made on Sunday. Was starving and it really filled the gap.

Have good days everyone.

gadget1974 · 06/07/2016 10:09

4lb off and Slimmer of the week, at the half way mark with 2st lost over 7 weigh ins/2 months.

Was convinced I wouldn't get there this week, but an increase in exercise appears to have helped.

Wife got her 1.5 st as well!

Very happy although had a couple of large whisky's last night and head is now hurting!

pippinandtog · 06/07/2016 10:48

gadget, you're both doing brilliantly.
It's much easier when you're both at home following the plan together.
DH is also a SW member, and it's nice to plan meals together- we both love our grub.

OrianaBanana · 06/07/2016 12:00

Well done losers!

I am officially back on plan which feels good, although I'm finding it very hard not to have the motivation and reward of weight loss. I've tried to make a chart of 'acceptable pregnancy weight gain' but no one will give any figures apart from a random website as of course it varies.

Anyway.

B - Activia 0% yoghurt, apple, hard boiled egg (random as we ran out of milk and I was in a hurry); then at work all bran (HExB1) and milk (HExA1)
L - salad nicoise (1.5 syns for olives, 0.5 for dressing), banana, Diet Coke
D - Group taster night! I'm bringing Thai pork bites with soy sauce, should be a good low-syn dinner Smile
S - apple, pear, Hifi light (half HExB2), dried apricots (other half)

Tonight I will call target then announce pregnancy as my consultant advised, so I can go to group for free while I'm pregnant. Otherwise I think I would stop going as I don't want to pay each week to put on weight!

froubylou · 06/07/2016 12:13

Morning all

Well done losers!

I have lost 3 lbs this morning! Whoop whoop! Very pleased. And got my 1st certificate and shiny sticker.

Haven't planned what to have for lunch. Possibly an apple and hifi bar. I have been skipping lunch lately as have been busy. I don't suppose it will hurt as long as I don't binge later.

B. Coffee
L. ?
T. Lamb steaks, veg, gravy and roast new potatoes. Will syn gravy. Hifi for B choice and milk in coffee for a choice.

ALemonyPea · 06/07/2016 13:03

Well done losers!

Fed up of peeing all the time. Had to take my son into school early today so I could use their toilet.

B: porridge,melon, orange, strawberry
D: ham salad with potato salad
T: meatballs and pasta

Unsure what using syns on yet, mhave a sweet tooth today.

WingDefence · 06/07/2016 13:11

Well done frouby!

Epic breakfast fail this morning. Was a bit bored of weetabix so thought I'd have some sainsburys balance (their version of special K). I knew it wasn't a HexB but thought it couldn't possibly be too high in syns. WRONG!

I was good and measured out 35g assuming that was the standard portion and had a huge shock when I looked it up after as 25g is 4.5 syns so I added another half a portion to be on the safe side and it's 7 syns! Shock

That's taught me to always check syns beforehand!

It's a pain as DS has a friend over for the tonight and he wanted pizza so I was going to have one or two slices max with salad. What a pain!

Comeonmommy · 06/07/2016 15:41

Quite proud of myself today. My syn binge yesterday finished on 23 1/2!!!!! Bloody stress eating.

Today I was out to lunch with a friend and last time I was on plan my logic would have been 'I ruined yesterday so I might as well have chips and a glass of wine - why ruin 1 day when I can ruin 2!!' But showing restraint I had grilled chicken salad (no dressing) and a Diet Coke. Also turned chocolate brownies down!!!

It's quite a lovely feeling - am feeling quite smug!!

maygirl · 06/07/2016 16:07

Well done Comeon and all this weeks losers!

B heB bread and poached egg
Strawberries, satsuma, banana
L half heA cheese chunk, cherry tomatoes and baby corn
Other half heA milk in a coffee
Aldi bar 3 syns,slice mango
Bowl quark, berries, 15g grapenuts 3 syns, sweetfreedom 1 syn . square choc 3 syns
D will be bean and veg chilli after WI

I've really eaten too much for a WI day!
Looking fwd to getting new mag tonight !

Lifeisontheup2 · 06/07/2016 17:20

I synned today, a Krispy Kreme doughnut at work which is about 15.5 syns.Blush

Rupeomatic · 06/07/2016 19:08

Hi everyone. Have been awol the last few weeks - mainly due to finishing a university course and a lot of celebrations with friends. Cooked my first SW recipe in ages and feel ready to get back on track. Just need to get rid of all the cake in my cupboards - but I think the family will help with that Grin
