I know, I wish it was cheaper, or they gave a discount to SW members. I had a sparks offer for 5 for 4 on fruit/veg/salads, so treat myself to some yummy things to cheer myself up. Who'd have thought a punnet of strawberries would work Grin

froubylou · 16/06/2016 14:01

Ah lemon don't be down on your self! You will emerge from the summer holidays and no one will recognise you!

Am off on holiday in the morning. Only a caravan for the weekend but will be enjoying being off plan. In fact it sort of starts today as we are having a takeaway tonight to save cooking and making a mess of the kitchen.

That's my excuse anyway lol.

I had left over shepherds pie for lunch so that was good.

Will be back on it Monday. Won't update on the fish and chips and donuts etc I will be scoffing 😂😂

tabulahrasa · 16/06/2016 14:52

Lemony - were you wearing a coat?

There's a woman in my group who has lost 3 stone odds, literally couldn't see a difference till she bought a new coat, it looked like she'd lost it all in one week, lol.

nomoreheroes · 16/06/2016 15:32

Aw, that's hard Lemony but I agree with everyone else, it will be very obvious when you buy smaller clothes. I put a pair of trousers on today that are now so loose I can pull them down without opening them. But I still look just the same size so ditching the buggers ASAP

Slight shopping fail earlier..
fancied some cottage cheese with pineapple when I was in M&S getting clothes for DH. Picked the creamy variety instead of count on us. I reckon it's between 6-8 syns for the tub (not listed but the other brands vary from 2-2.5 per 100g). Still, I've had some and it was bloody lovely!

WingDefence · 16/06/2016 19:43

SW Diet Coke chicken = delicious! All my family wolfed it down. Apart from an Alpen light bar (3 syns) I've not had syns today and I've eaten really well. L was another massive salad with chicken breast, this time with some FF yogurt and sweetcorn mixed in.

Might have a glass of Wine tonight with the football.

EmilyK83 · 16/06/2016 20:48

Sounds good Wing!

Lemony - definitely agree with buying new clothes...try the free Debenhams personal shopper service, it's great for working out what best suits and flatters your shape!

Pub quiz night for me tonight with my mum and her friends. 4 syns down so far today and sticking to Diet Coke while out. Trying to be restrained!

Comeonmommy · 16/06/2016 21:27

Is there ANY chance toffee popcorn is syn free??????

WingDefence · 16/06/2016 22:02

Grin comeonmummy well I suppose it is corn to start off with!

Emily, are you allowed to be online during a pub quiz?!

emwithme · 16/06/2016 23:16

Hair removal done and I lost 1/2 a lb this morning, which I'm v happy with bearing in mind icecream and curry.

Had an SP day today:

Breakfast (post WI): Breakfast muffins, cherry tomatoes
Snack on arrival at work: 2 shortbread scotty dogs (6 syns)
Lunch: Chicken salad, apple, pear, satsumas
Pre/mid-college snack: apple, pear, pufts (3.5 syns)
Dinner: Bolognaise (thought it was bloody stew when I took it out of the freezer), quark with white chocolate options (2 syns)
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

WingDefence · 17/06/2016 10:33

Morning all. Off out for my mum's birthday lunch today. I've looked at the menu and they have steak and chips type food and I'll ask the swap the chips. They've also got salads etc where I can ask for the dressing on the side. So not too worried!

B was muller might vanilla with raspberries and blueberries. Have come to a cafe with DD and had a cappuccino and custard cream which slightly ruins my good start (how many syns is a cappuccino Shock - I'm just in a local independent cafe so have tracked it as a costa medium with SS milk.).

I did a sneaky weigh in this morning and I've not lost anything Hmm so I really need to try to get some Davina in. I can't do it with DH is around as he doesn't believe in fitness DVDs :(

Hope you all have great days.

ALemonyPea · 17/06/2016 11:36

No sneaky weigh ins Wing!

Freezing here today, have the heating on! Doesn't help my appetite, nobody wants a salad in this weather.

B: fruit and yoghurt
D: quiche and salad
T: pork chops, jacket potato with cheese, salad

Not sure what I having for my HEB.

Feebot2001 · 17/06/2016 11:45

Hello all. I rejoined last week after a gap of about 6/7 years. A bit different these days. Enjoying it so far. 5lb loss at WI on Tuesday. I want my half stone come Tuesday!

Loving this thread hopefully will keep me focused

B - 2 x HovisWholemeal Sliced Bread (HEB) Onions, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Beans and Bacon.
L- Grilled Chicken Salad
T- Burgers, with Salad HEA cheese and homemade wedges

EmilyK83 · 17/06/2016 11:53

Ha - Wing, I posted before I left Wink

Well done em!

Could be an interesting day today. Off to see my dad, who doesn't understand SW at all. No syns in preparation, and I've chosen what we're having for dinner - I'll cook it too!!

B - fruit and yoghurt

L - picky bits from his fridge if he has anything suitable...

D - spinach, chicken and sweet potato stew - hopefully syn-free.

Skinny latte as HexA, Alpen Lights for HexB. No idea on syns but finished yesterday on all 15 in the end...

EmilyK83 · 17/06/2016 11:53

Oops - and well done Feebot too!!

Buttwing · 17/06/2016 12:42

Welcome and well done feebotSmile

I really want a decent loss on the scales this week so I'm trying to be good but it's hard dp being an idiot and really annoying me and his family have done something pretty horrible to me too. I always reach for food when I'm feeling down.

B-fruit and yogurt
L-baked potato, ham and beans
D- roast chicken, salad, sw chips and caponata

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Buttwing · 17/06/2016 12:42

Sorry well done em too!

ALemonyPea · 17/06/2016 13:13

Well done losers.

I want to lose 5.5 lbs by 28 June. Going from my past loses, I'll probably not do it as 1.5 lbs seems to be my usual amount, but hey, still aiming for it. That would give me 2 stone loss, 3.5 for my club 10. Maybe I should just aim for that?

Lil41 · 17/06/2016 13:34

Weigh in done. 5lbs off and I got 3 stones in total! So pleased as I've really struggled this last few weeks.

EmilyK83 · 17/06/2016 13:48

Wow, well done Lil - that's amazing!!

muminthecity · 17/06/2016 13:56

Lost 4lbs this week, really pleased with that. This week will be harder though, I have an afternoon tea tomorrow followed by a night out drinking then dinner out on Sunday. Will try to make the best choices but I know I'll struggle Sad

Comeonmommy · 17/06/2016 14:08

Wow guys, there are some really big losses going out on!!!!! Last time I did SW I went to group but only lost half or 1lb at a time. This time I'm going solo - quick question though.....how many syns are you allowed ? I can't remember or find my old books!!! Really well done to you all though X

ALemonyPea · 17/06/2016 14:11

You can have between 5-15 a day. No more, no less. You can however save them for something during the week.

Some great losses going on!

Feebot2001 · 17/06/2016 14:50

I decided to sprinkle Nandos Peri Peri Salt over my Chicken half a syn for 2 level tsps. Gave so much flavour. Dog a bit too keen to try and steal it though!

WingDefence · 17/06/2016 15:41

Well done on losses! Bit annoyed with lunch - went for rump steak (cooked perfectly), swapped the chips for plain jersey royals with a side salad. Of course when it came they'd ignored my requests so I scraped the horseradish butter off the steak and ate the potatoes as they were.

Then I didn't help matters by having sorbet - but that seemed to be the best option on the dessert menu!! Oh and a Pimms but that has fruit in so I'm guessing it was free Wink

WingDefence · 17/06/2016 15:42

I meant the potatoes were covered in mint butter.
