Since one on the bikini Emily. I've never worn one, and would never wear one unless I had a tummy tuck.

Wearing a dress today that last time I wore was too tight and now looks lovely. Chuffed.

Out for dinner today at a pub for my mams birthday. Either going to have a Sunday dinner or steak and salad. Tempted for the Sunday dinner. Dreading the cake though, have ordered a massive Costco cake, and will probably have a small slice. Will drink Diet Coke or water.

B: scrambled egg, mushrooms and ham
D: whatever from the pub and cake
T: probably fruit and Alpen bar

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

ALemonyPea · 12/06/2016 11:34

Frouby, mhave the bacon sandwich, on wholemeal bread, and maybe an egg or two. That'll make you feel loads better.

froubylou · 12/06/2016 12:25

I resisted all breadage. I had scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, bacon and sausage. Need to syn the sausage but I don't care because it was lovely and I am cured.

I tried a jacket on I have had for ages lemony. Never felt comfortable in it as it was a bit tight on my arms and a bit gapey fastened up. It fits nicely now so that's good!

Well done everyone on your non weight successes! (Can't remember if that's what you call em.). Had an okay day yesterday. Went to visit SIL and we went shopping in Lidl for a picky lunch so I made sure there was tons of speed on the table and those Linda McCartney rosemary and onion sausages were on offer so I ate most of those and only one small slice of pizza, a few Pringles and olives. Then the only thing for various reasons we could have in the evening was fish & chips and I'd usually just have the fish and mushy peas but the fish turned out to be tiny so I had to supple tub with batter and chips (honest - it was about the size of two fish bites as we didn't buy enough, were in a rush as they live 75 mins away and couldn't get any more). But I've done well all week, have tracked what I ate honestly and hopefully a few extra syns won't be disastrous.

Today B weetabix HexB plus raspberries and blueberries
L leftover SW lasagne.
Syns Slice of amazing homemade banana cake when picking DS up from Beavers camp. :)

Need to think of a good syn free meal for dinner.

Today's food, submitted without comment except for Grin

Breakfast: 3 egg omelette scramble with mushrooms and plum tomatoes
Lunch: Pulled chicken (3.5 syns) with sour cream (3 syns) and salad in a corn tortilla (13.5 syns). 3 scoops carte d'or ice-cream (one caramel, one pistachio, one praline) (a zillionty syns but oh so worth it)
Dinner: Steak, corn on the cob, jacket potato, mushrooms, salad.

HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

ALemonyPea · 12/06/2016 17:00

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal out, was ever so good and only had two roast potatoes and only half my Yorkshire pudding. Drank Diet Coke 😇

Not sure how many sins were in my cake, so since there was no calorie content, I'm thinking it was syn free? I only had a small slice and fed my little nephew most of the icing. My sister will kill me once she peels him off the ceiling after his sugar high.

WingDefence · 12/06/2016 20:18

Definitely syn free cake ALemony Grin

D was heck sausages, mash, beans and tons of fried (frylight ob) mushrooms and onions. Delicious. Plus stewed Apple (3 syns) and FF Greek yogurt after 25 mins of Davina (would've been 30 but I couldn't do a lot of the abs exercises).

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

maygirl · 12/06/2016 20:40

Petal40 · 12/06/2016 20:42

I've thought of joining slimming world....but I'm vegan....can anyone offer advice?

ALemonyPea · 12/06/2016 20:51

You can definitely do it if you're vegan, it caters for every diet. I'd go to class rather than online so that the consultant can talk you through it.

I might switch my hexb up a bit, maybe some dried apricots for a change.

calzone · 12/06/2016 21:09

Stayed on plan, but had a jacket potato with beans and salad for both lunch AND dinner. I'm at my mum's till next Saturday. Let's hope I can add a bit more variety for the rest of the week!!

rubybloom2 · 13/06/2016 07:15

Avocado... So I know these are high in syns, I've read 9, is that right? And is that for a whole one?
I've just rejoined SW and working out breakfast ideas, I just plan to smear a little avo on wholemeal toast instead of butter or spread, topped with a poached egg. Not sure how to count such a small amount.

ALemonyPea · 13/06/2016 07:48

It's 9.5 syns per 100g. I'd make that approx 1 syn per 10g. Weigh out what you'd smear and go from there. I find it silly that it is so high, as it s a good fat.

EmilyK83 · 13/06/2016 07:59

Yeah avocado's ridiculously high in syns considering other "diets" see it as a healthy food!

Today's plan for me:

B - fruit and yoghurt
L - ham salad, slice of toast (HexB) with Marmite
D - Jamaican chicken (1) with rice and green beans

Skinny latte as my HexA, syns will be in the form of chocolate.

Off to a pub quiz with my mum tonight, will stick to Diet Coke!

Finished yesterday on 8 syns...

rubybloom2 · 13/06/2016 08:14

Thanks Alemonypea!

waitingforwombat · 13/06/2016 08:37

I agree - I'd syn avacado same as butter, but knowing its a good use of your syns (like having nuts instead of choc!!).

WingDefence · 13/06/2016 09:07

Yippee - WI this morning and I lost 3lbs! Must be the three sessions of Davina I did last week :) Got my 1.5 stone award. Chuffed!

Only 4.5lbs till I reach target (I only wanted to lose 2 stone initially) but I want to change it. Shall I hit target then reduce my target or just reduce it now? What do you think?

Re: avocado, thankfully I can't stand the stuff so don't have to worry about the syns Grin

EmilyK83 · 13/06/2016 09:12

Wow well done Wing - that's brilliant!!

Not sure what to say re: target - might be nice to give yourself the satisfaction of hitting it and then change it when you've got there?

ALemonyPea · 13/06/2016 09:37

Well done Wing. If that were me, I'd reduce now as I'd probably get to target, get complacent and put a bit back on, whereas if I reduced it straight away, I'd still be on track iykwim.

Not sure if aim going to have an SP day today or not, going to try, but will see as not sure what I. Having for tea yet.

B: bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, HEB bread, mushrooms, melon
D: HEA cheese and ham salad, pickles
T: fish and veg, fruit for afterwards

Snack: bag of proper corn (4 syns), Alpen bar for 2nd HEB if I decide to SP

WingDefence · 13/06/2016 09:38

That's what I was thinking Emily but I don't know how it works with SW online eg do I get it free once I hit target like group members (if I've got that right)? I may give SW a call and see what they say...

WingDefence · 13/06/2016 09:50

Thanks too ALemony.

Well I called SW online support and the lady said it would be best to change my target now as otherwise they will send me a target certificate and it's harder to change after that (or something). Interestingly she said that online target members have to keep paying as they can't monitor the +/-3 lbs rule but take the figures SW members type in on trust. I think that's a bit unfair since I've had to do it with minimal SW input!

But she recommended that once I hit target, tell them to send me out a target certificate and swap my membership to a group one and then I'd get all the online stuff for free (apparently the website for group members is slightly different) and I only have to make a meeting once every 8 weeks which I think I could do. And it would be free! So I shall reduce my target now (eek scary) and do that when I am happy at my final weight.

froubylou · 13/06/2016 15:38

Wow well done Wing! Fabulous loss.

Had a bit of a boost this morning. Got on the scales and I was 12 something instead of 13 something! Yay for numbers going down!

Had a family crisis yesterday (long story involving my sister and an abusive ex) so didn't eat anything else apart from some muesli after my cooked breakfast so that might have helped. Could have had the bread if I had known lol.

And ds (2) has got dds tummy bug. Just got into bed last night when he cried and it was like a scene from the exorcist. He is ok now, currently snoring his head off but having spent all night mopping up puke I haven't really been that hungry.

Just had an apple and tea is salmon, salad and new potatoes.

Will be an early night for me too!
