Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Well done losers!!!

Weigh in for me tonight as well......

trinitybleu · 27/04/2016 07:52

2.5 off for me so that's 12lb in 4 weeks. Am nearly able to say I am a 10th of the way to my initial target (which is still far to high but a lot healthier than I am now)

WeShouldOpenABar · 27/04/2016 08:14

5lb on. 5 fucking pound. I had a weekend off fair enough but 5!!!!! I feel so defeated, my stone award gone , my 10% gone. I have more stuff coming up and no real opportunity to get on a good run. I'm starting a new job next week and I dont know what the facilities for eating are like. Today I feel like ripping all of my skin off, my body disgusts me.

I know dramatic but I have been feeling depressed anyway , this has tipped me into taking to my bed.

Flossyfloof · 27/04/2016 10:04

Get up, we should! Get up! You can't expect it all to be plain sailing, and it has taken you years, probably to get to where you are now, weight-wise. You just need to get back on that horse!
Can you give work a ring to check a few things and find out about eating arrangements? Can you sort out some packed lunches?
I do know how you feel, I thought I had done so well a couple of weeks ago and put on half a pound, honestly, I was devastated. You just got to kbo.
You have done it before, you can do it again.

randomer · 27/04/2016 10:23

hey don't be so mean to yourself!!! its all just bloat and water its not actually 5 lb of anything much.
It will soon be gone.
Congratuations on finding a job...a big achievement

HelenF35 · 27/04/2016 10:30

Last night was not good as predicted. 14 Syns of wine and 4.5 Syns for wotsits. On top of 5.25 Syns I'd already had. Also have an afternoon tea this weekend. I predict a gain this week!

Plan for today

Breakfast turkey bacon, eggs, mushrooms free

Snack 2 small slices wholemeal bread and lurpack lightest 2 Syns

Lunch baked potato with tuna and salad free

Dinner chilli (with extra veg) with rice and cheese (he) free

EmilyK83 · 27/04/2016 10:56

Well done losers!

And WeShould - you can pull it back this week!!

Calzone - haha, more than happy to trade stories, she's an absolute nightmare!!

Was massively off plan last night at a press event where I didn't have any choice in the menu. Well...I could have chosen not to have the Prosecco or the two cocktails - but an evening of canapés, Peking duck, a chocolatey dessert and more was more than a little off plan. Had an overnight stay there too, and was good with the hotel breakfast - lean bacon, smoked salmon, eggs, beans and grilled tomatoes, and a peppermint tea. Back on it properly today!!

B - as above

L - some lentil and tomato soup that I made on Sunday, chopped veg on the side

D - no idea. Dp was supposed to be doing a meal plan while I was away last night, surprise surprise I've heard nothing from him...

froubylou · 27/04/2016 11:23

We should if it makes you feel any better I have lost 5lbs since Sunday morning. I knew I was starting sw either sun or Mon so I ate alldafood leading up to it. So that's only 3 days. Most of it will be water and bloating. Drink loads of water to flush your system and get back on plan.

I know mine was water because I have been up in the night for a pee and I never usually do.

Went to sign up today. Toddler was an absolute fucking nightmare. Think I will have to go to an evening group. Or just weigh in and sit near the door. Looking forward to getting the app back later on.

B. Coffee
L. Chicken and veg soup that I am going to make shortly.
T. Omelette, baked potato and salad.

Syns will be oil and gin.

MABS · 27/04/2016 11:44

lost 4lbs!!! not idea how...

ALemonyPea · 27/04/2016 11:45

Well done losers!

Weshould, there is every chance that most of that is fluid retention. If you drink more water and stick to plan you can have that all,off by next weigh in. Don't beat yourself up, you can do this!

I survived yesterday. I had it in my head that I would get weighed then go to M&S and buy something yummy. I didn't. I feel really pleased with myself.

I have two big things coming up that I need to aim for. First thing, I have to have a full skin examination end of June, which at my current weight has me breaking out in a hot flush. This is followed by some further tests, genetic and MRI, and I don't want to do it this weight. Aiming for 2 stone loss by then.

The second this, I need to have a hysterectomy, and I want it this time next year.

I can do this!

B: breakfast muffins with plenty of speed, a pear
D: tuna pasta salad, 0.5 for dressing, grated cheese hexa
T: SW chicken saag with rice, melon and pear for pud
Snacks: 2 Alpen bars (hexb)

Planning on keeping as many syns as possible for Sunday as at christening.

lonerboner · 27/04/2016 11:50

Just a QQ

lone parent & no time to exercise (I also HATE) exercise.

Any tips on how to get moving with 2.5 year old in tow? Maybe a BRISK walk in the buggy if I can keep him in there long enough?

BRISK housework?

WeShouldOpenABar · 27/04/2016 12:12

Thanks all , I was very tired and emotional this morning, work is stressful as I'm being treated like shit for leaving.
I am currently doing my replacements job cos she is woeful so they'll get theirs next week when I'm not around to pick up the pieces Smile

Buttwing · 27/04/2016 12:20

Loner I'm in the same boat, I have a 2 and a half year old and a 1 and half year old. I do park with out a buggy and take a ball, one of them usually wants carrying at some point so that's like weights!! I also do soft play but actually go in with them rather than drinking my coffee it's blooming knackering! Disclaimer- I'm not at all fit!!

Second day of sp for me today and it's not actually that bad, I love having two hebs. After thinking I would hate it I tried courgette spaghetti last night and it was actually really good. I had it with tomato and chilli sauce with chicken, olives, capers, and roasted peppers. I've been and bought some more today!

lonerboner · 27/04/2016 12:35

Fab ok! Let's just get more active.

Can someone explain the difference between an SP day and a normal day??

I'm doing online so not been to a class

EmilyK83 · 27/04/2016 13:44

Come back Basin...! Grin

Well done MABS, that's brilliant!!

Have decided on tonight's dinner now. Was trawling blogs for inspiration, and I've decided to do burrito bowls. Basically going to do various things in bowls so it's a kinda pick and mix make your own custom burrito bowl thing...

  • shredded lettuce
  • rice cooked and mixed with lime juice and coriander
  • Asda Mexican chicken slices, heated up (I'm lazy)
  • black beans
  • sweetcorn
  • homemade salsa (tomatoes, chopped jalapeños, red onion, coriander and lime juice)
  • fat free natural yoghurt
  • grated cheese (HexA)
  • hot sauce (syns)

I'm so bloody excited about this meal!! Going to do double portions so we can have it tomorrow night too...

Buttwing · 27/04/2016 14:49

Emily that sounds yum. I make something similar and I use lettuce leaves as wraps sounds meh but it's lovely!!

Twinklestar2 · 27/04/2016 14:55

Weshouldopenabar – so disheartening when that happens but pick yourself up and dust yourself off and try again. That’s all we can do.

Ooh Emily, that burrito bowl sounds lush!

Breakfast – hex A and hex B – muesli and skimmed
I had a skinny latte – can I use that as my Hex A considering I am allowed 350ml of skimmed and I only had 100ml with breakfast?

I had this for lunch – how do I work out the syns: www.itsu.com/menus/10000008/chicken'rice_uk10000143.html

I had some popchips – 4.5 syns

Dinner is spag bol.

EmilyK83 · 27/04/2016 15:01

Sounds good with lettuce leaves too Butt!

I'm trawling more and more blogs and websites for non-SW specific recipes and just adapting them...getting bored of the SW ones!!

Twinkle - the way I work out skinny lattes is to use the app. 350ml of skimmed milk is your HexA - or 6 syns if not used as HexA. A costa medium skinny latte comes out as 6 syns on the app, so I figure it's a full HexA. A Caffe Nero small one is 2.5 syns, so I count it as half a HexA. Does that make sense or am I doing it wrong?! Haha...

Twinklestar2 · 27/04/2016 15:31

Thanks Emily.

Any idea on the syns in the chicken rice itsu pot? www.itsu.com/menus/10000008/chicken%27rice_uk10000143.html

EmilyK83 · 27/04/2016 15:41

Not sure - have you tried plugging the info into the website's calculator (rather than the app)?

MABS · 27/04/2016 15:44

Thanks all, think i only lost 4lbs as i cut out booze massively!

Twinklestar2 · 27/04/2016 15:52

10.5 syns Shock

It's only the following ingredients though!

chargrilled chicken [British], in hearty miso soup, low GI brown & red savoury rice, green leek, toasted seeds & ginger
