Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Well done Emily, you must feel great! And well done everyone else too!

I lost 2.5 today, and I got my 2 stone award! Am feeling well smug!

And so another week starts. I have a meal out on Friday, with the night in a hotel. So there will be some alcohol consumed. Am going to reign in my syns for the week so I can have what I want, within reason, without too much thinking.

Have a good week everyone!

EmilyK83 · 10/05/2016 13:26

Thanks ladies! Feels amazing - don't think I've stopped grinning since weigh in! 9lb to lose till I have a healthy bmi...

Good luck for tomorrow, Kitty, and well done Vodka, that's brilliant!!

Today's plan:

B - skinny latte (HexA)

L - spicy lentil, tomato and sweet potato soup

Snacks - satsumas, Alpen Light (half HexB), pistachios (other half HexB)

D - takeaway. I always have a weigh day treat! Although I think I'm going for Japanese tonight, so it should be fairly healthy...

ALemonyPea · 10/05/2016 14:15

Well done Emily and Vodka. Must be a day for rewards as I lost 2.5 and got my 1 stone award Grin. 4 weeks in and feeling great.

I have PCOS and find it hard to lose weight, thing this is working so far, but dreading a plateau as I might give in if that happens. Poke me with the sharp stick if I ever mention giving up.

B: pease pudding wrapped in ham, carrot, melon and giant orange
D: scrambled egg and mushrooms on toast (HEB)
T: Homemade burgers (syn free), sweet potato fries and salad

I have treated myself to some spread on my toast (4 syns) and a packet of nik naks (8.5 syns) for my stone award.

EmilyK83 · 10/05/2016 14:29

Ahhhh Lemony that's fab, well done! Sorry to hear about the PCOS - one of my friends has it too and she says that cutting down carbs and increasing protein really helps her - don't know if it's the same for everyone though!

HelenF35 · 10/05/2016 14:39

Well done Emily and lemony. Grin

peachypips · 10/05/2016 15:26

Breakfast: yog, oats, fruit (half hexb)
Lunch: spag bol
Dinner: something from pret ( am traveling with work)
Hifi bar (half hexb)
Milk (hexa)
Syns- whatever is synful in the pret!

MamOfTwo · 10/05/2016 15:49

Woohoo, well done, ladies!

Notsofabflab · 10/05/2016 16:42

Well done everyone!

I'm all joined up now, it wasn't half as terrifying as I'd imagined it was going to be. The scales were though... I am 15 stone and half a pound. I'm aiming for 10 stone 7 as my target.

I raided the bookstore Grin so have sat and planned out roughly the next few weeks meals.

I'm about to try the chilli con carne out of the 'best loved' recipe book and it smells great!

HelenF35 · 10/05/2016 18:06

You can do it notso. I went from 16st 12 to 10st 3 before I got pregnant.

Notsofabflab · 10/05/2016 18:20

Wow Helen! That's fantastic Flowers

I'd love to be able to say the same next year!

calzone · 10/05/2016 19:28

Titsywoo · 10/05/2016 19:58

Hi all,

Started today - currently using my old books from a couple of years ago until I have time to go to a meeting. Has it changed much from superfree etc?

Start weight is 14st 7 at 5ft 3 so need to lose at least 4 stone.

Today I had:-

B - Fruit and ham sandwich (no butter) with 2 slice weight watchers wholemeal bread (HEXB)
L - Rice and veg
S - McD's small chips (ok not a great start but was rushing about and starving!) - 8.5 syns
D - Spag bog with lots of veg in the sauce (diced courgette, carrot, mushrooms) and lean mince plus 30g parmesan (HEXA)

Think I have done ok but need to plan a bit better (would prefer to be getting some healthy fats with my syns rather than junk so maybe nuts). Need to find good lunch options so am going to make some chicken and bacon in light mayo to go with salad leaves.

Did my measurements earlier and was very shocked to discover one of my thighs is the same circumference as my waist was on my wedding day 7 years ago!

Glitter2707 · 10/05/2016 21:29

Stayed the same, feel a bit gutted but I have been feeling very bloated & hormonal this week as its my 'star week' - hate that phrase! It's known as black knicker week in our house, not sure that will catch on either though Grin On holiday for the next two weeks, going to enjoy my first week & then try to reign it in on second, fingers crossed. I will get that 1.5 stone award soon!

ALemonyPea · 10/05/2016 21:42

I want to make chicken fajitas tomorrow. Usually use a packet, but there are syns in those, mso going to try make my own with spices I already have. Hopefully they'll be nice. Going to use cos lettuce leaves instead of tortillas.

HelenF35 · 10/05/2016 22:18

Schwartz do a perfect shake fajita seasoning which is free. Smile

justamo · 10/05/2016 22:40

Well done everyone.

2nd SP day - tick
15 syns - tick

Amazing myself with my willpower I'm pondering doing a third day tomorrow but I'm hankering after a jacket spud & beans...my fave comfort food.

maygirl · 10/05/2016 22:46

wow lots of 'book bling' today ladies! Well done!

B Baked mushroom and egg (thanks Geepee!) bacon slice and beans
L Epic egg, potato and bacon salad, recipe from an old sw mag, also contained apple, roasted red pepper from a jar, beetroot, green beans and rocket, half HEA feta cheese, dressing of fromage frais, mustard powder, lemon juice and chopped gherkin.

snacks: slice cold chicken, orange, papaya.
other half heA milk in coffee
D chicken stirfry and rice, oyster sauce, sweet chilli sauce 1.5 syn
snack HeB grape nuts with arla protein pot 1 syn

very low syn day for me, makes a change!

Notsofabflab · 11/05/2016 02:03

Well it's 2am and at this time is usually be reaching for the biscuits and cake to keep me awake whilst feeding ds.

Tonight I've gone for...spinach leaves with sw coleslaw and a fruit bowl.

Feeling quite proud of myself, first night since day was born where I haven't munched my way through half a pack of biscuits! Grin

obrigada · 11/05/2016 07:02

Lost 1lb at yesterday's weigh in, happy with that Smile

thelionsleeps · 11/05/2016 07:25

Loads of great losses here this week!

Does anyone else just want to eat all their hi fi bars when they buy them? Hadn't bought any before as wanted to stick to natural food but got the rocky roads ones yesterday but pretty much demolished the pack. Won't get them again I think!

froubylou · 11/05/2016 07:33

Morning all

Some fantastic losses this week. My WI. Is at 11.30. Hoping ds behaves long enough to wI then I am going. As long as I am losing I am going to morning groups. If I start to struggle am going to an evening group for the support.

Was fed up of salad yesterday so had a veggie cooked breakfast for brunch, then chicken breaSt wrapped in parma ham, new pots and veg for tea with a smidgen of cheese sauce.

Today I am making a fritatta with left over veg and potatoes for lunch and lamb tagine for tea.

Might have to pick some hifi bars up as really not regularly getting my b choice in. I don't have breakfast and trying to avoid bread.

KittyOShea · 11/05/2016 08:08

Great losses this week. Weigh in for me this evening. Hoping last nights Pilates will help!

B- porridge, fruit, yoghurt
L- egg muffins and salad
D- going around to a friends after weigh in

OP posts:
wonkylampshade · 11/05/2016 08:57

I need to get back on the horse having not been to weigh in for almost 3 months! Blush

Dreading what the scales will say in Monday, but I'm going to try a few SP days until then so I don't get too depressed when I find out!!

I love sw, but have no willpower so I'm going to make a commitment to checking in here to see other folks meal plans and post my own. That might help keep me on the straight and narrow!

Today I'm going to have:

B - fruit and fibre with ss milk
L - veg and lentil soup (friend bringing a quiche so will eat but avoid the pastry)
D - chicken with something - possibly spinach and mangetout & tomato or in a curry sauce.

obrigada · 11/05/2016 09:38

Can I ask if you all keep a food diary?

feelingmiffed · 11/05/2016 09:42

I'm joining up tonight Shock
