Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

ChessieFL · 07/05/2016 09:51

WI this morning, pound on but I expected that, have relaxed a bit this week after getting to target. Still within target zone though so all ok! This week is my birthday so I expect another gain next week, will then get back on it properly to get back to target weight.

ALemonyPea · 07/05/2016 10:35

I don't like lamb, but think that would work on pork or chicken. Will have to give it a go. It looks lovely.

We are going out tomorrow for the full day, so trying to think what I can pack for myself for a picnic. Any ideas. Was thinking of doing a salad, but it'd be warm and limp by the time I ate it.

B: Bacon sandwich, melon and 0% yoghurt
D: undecided
T: chilli with wedges and salad

EmilyK83 · 07/05/2016 10:49

Awww thanks Butt!!

Lemony - how about cold low syn sausages, hardboiled eggs, cold meats, SW potato salad with a yoghurt based dressing, veg sticks and homemade dips, cold cooked chicken legs...?

Ended up finishing yesterday on 12 syns - higher than I was hoping. Ah well :)

Today's plan:

B - I haven't had any...oops

L - picky bits from the fridge

D - lasagne (syns for sauce and cheese - not sure how many yet) and salad

Skinny latte as HexA, Alpen lights as HexB. I'm a creature of habit! Chocolate froyo for syns...

HelenF35 · 07/05/2016 10:58

MamOfTwo · 07/05/2016 11:08

2.5lb off this morning at WI - shocked as had a couple of bad days last week. Need to lose 2lb this week to get my stone award. Going to try not to do my usual thing of treating today as a 'day off' and eating everything in sight! Calzone if you're reading - I would love to see your photos if you would like to post them. And anybody else who wishes to share before and after pics. It will spur me on! I bought the Veggie cookbook today so hoping to try some recipes from that (we are not veggie but don't eat that much meat). Also may buy the Free Feast book too. I am not a great cook but hoping I can at least find a handful of recipes I can cook! Good luck, all!

Hotbot · 07/05/2016 11:36

I had a fried egg whole meal bun for brekkie but the bun was 76 g more than the healthy b allowance , how many syns should I count ?
1 week today and was being fab ,but had a bbq last night and prob was very bad. I'm not feeling guilty as overall this week I was fab
Good luck this week everyone

Buttwing · 07/05/2016 12:10

Mam I will do my before and after photos when I get to target, I've only got one photo of me at my heaviest and it's just after having dc4 so I look dreadful!! I might do it like they do in magazines the dowdy, knackered no make up fat photo followed by slim photo with full face of makeup and a manic smileGrinGrin

EmilyK83 · 07/05/2016 12:11

Nicely done Mam - great loss! I'll start off the pics - there's three years between these two pics, wearing the same dress. I'd lost 2st 9lb when the second pic was taken - I wish someone had told me 3 years ago that I was too big for the dress...! Think I was in massive denial about my size...

Buttwing · 07/05/2016 12:12

Hotbot how heavy should it have been? Each heb/a is equivalent to 6 syns if that helps.

maygirl · 07/05/2016 12:44

hotbot a 60g wholemeal roll is a heB or 6 syns, so each extra 10g of roll is 1 syn

Hotbot · 07/05/2016 13:00

Brill thanks maygirl and butting , I had banked on 3 syns...so am up on them earl.
Wow Emilyk you look fAb !!!

maygirl · 07/05/2016 13:45

VodkaIceAndLemon · 07/05/2016 15:31

Hi everyone! I am managing to stick to my plan of a proper lunch everyday, although the odd day it's been a real effort. I even took a 'salad in a box' when I took youngest DC out for lunch on Thursday. I've been having 2 hifi bars and a bag of ryvita minis on an evening. That feels like a nice treaty end to the day.

I have just made some syn free onion chutney for the first time. If it tastes as good as it smells it will be a regular on our menu! We're having cheeseburgers for tea, with syn free onion rings. The chutney will go with that really well, I hope.

Then for this evening I've made the SW haribo sweets, we have fruit salad, meringue and yogurt too. May also have my hifi's, depending how greedy I'm feeling!

after8s · 07/05/2016 17:12

Looking good, ladies! Thank you for sharing.

froubylou · 07/05/2016 17:50

Lovely photos ladies. You all look fabulous!

Yesterday was a good day for a Friday. Big bowl of salad with some mackerel for lunch. Then a norty chicken bhuna but with boiled rice and a half of chapatti. But before sw I would have had a sandwich and a packet of crisps for lunch, a couple of cans of lager, onion bhaji and a garlic nan. So over on my syns still but a lot less than I would usually have.

Today has been.good though. We had a bbq but I had loads of salad, some chicken breasts, chicken kebabs and a corn on the cob.

Have a corn on the cob left for later and some more salad if I get peckish. And I need.to have my B choice so have muesli in too.

Might also have a g and t but had diet coke all afternoon instead of lager or cider.

ALemonyPea · 07/05/2016 19:21

Great photos, lovely to see how well the diet works, you all look fab.

I'm stuffed, had a Mexican feast and only used 5.5 syns. Delicious.

Leslieknope45 · 07/05/2016 19:26

I only lost 1/2 today Blush oops

overitalready · 07/05/2016 19:37

Struggling therefore am back

I have less than 3 weeks to go until my wedding day, I've hit target, I wanted to do more yet I find myself craving everything.

This last week has been hell. On Monday I caved and ate a huge slice of cheesecake wig double cream then wine gums followed by chipsticks and lots of real butter on my potatoes.

I have resisted since then however I've just had my 5 syn treat and already in my head I want another.

I have my 2nd dress fitting next week..grrrr

Sorry for waffling but I'm mad with how much I'm struggling with all this after nearly a years worth of being ok.

Pics however are as attached..it should be enough to spur me on, or you'd think wouldn't you Sad

Leslie - a loss is still a loss!

Just looked through my My Fitness Pal data from ages ago - turns out I weighed just under 13 stone when that pic was taken, rather than the 14st 9 I was when I started SW in Jan! So here's a facial comparison pic from last year to last week!
