Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

We've had all sorts at our group, a toddler who ate most of the NCT class's biscuits (and his older brother who stole from the shop...), a newborn who drowned the consultant out for fully 5 minutes by screaming, cute babies being passed around, toddlers playing with stuff - it's all good. Although I did wish the newborn had been taken out sooner (he was; eventually), I don't bear him any ill will, it's exactly what DS would have done at his age (and possibly what DC2 will do) Smile. What does bug me is the ladies what chatter and snigger between themselves until it's their turn to talk - but ah well.

1lb on this week. Maybe some day I will get my mojo back but in the meantime I am too sick and tired to care very much (but am on a countdown!Grin). The hungrier I am the sicker I get but I feel too tired to meal prep.

Good to see you all doing so well though x

EmilyK83 · 05/05/2016 09:03

Oriana - you have a good excuse for gaining, though! Smile

I need to stop weighing myself during the week. I do it to make sure I'm on track, but my scales are telling me I've put 3lb on since weigh in on Tues which can't be possible! I'm wondering if I've just eaten too much salt. Will be drinking lots today...

Beautiful sunny day here today! Going to go and vote in a minute, will buy some fruit for a late breakfast and a skinny latte for my HexA while I'm out. Then the rest of the day will look like this:

L - leftover carbonara sauce from last night with salad

D - smoked haddock with parsley sauce, rice and asparagus

Alpen Lights as HexB, no more than 5 syns of Mikados/hot chocolate this evening...

BasinHaircut · 05/05/2016 09:04

I managed to stay on plan yesterday, using all 15 syns. It was tough though as 2yo DS is refusing to sleep at the moment and so he was pushing me close to eating crap. It's a good thing there isn't any in the house!

Today I'm tired, have a headache and grumpy but am determined to stick to it. I've got leftovers of my biriyani for lunch, big portion only 2 syns so I should be ok until I get home at least!

ALemonyPea · 05/05/2016 10:23

Morning losers. Lovely and sunny here, beautiful salad weather Grin

B: ham and vegetable omelette
D: SW soup with scones made yesterday, or bread if they're horrible
T: pork chop, mash and veg, 2 syns for gravy.

Mummyme87 · 05/05/2016 12:09

So I have fallen off the wagon and not on plan for about a month. I haven't been to group either, this means if I go back I will have to pay for every week I havent been. Meh. I was doing so well, got to 1stone 5lb off.

emwithme · 05/05/2016 13:44

Mummy the most you have to pay to keep your record is 2 weeks back fees. If you want a fresh start, there's a voucher in one of the women's magazines (think it's Bella) for free membership.

WI this morning and lost another lb. Well, I'm nothing if not consistent. I have averaged 1 lb a week since the new year...

I was going to vote and then have fish & chips on the beach this afternoon but the fucking back door won't close so I can't go out because I can't leave the house open. I really want fish and chips though so at some point the door WILL close and I WILL have fish and chips. And if it doesn't close, I'll go out between DH getting home from work and going out to Army Cadets and get them then.

ALemonyPea · 05/05/2016 13:53

Mummy, try do it at home if you can't face the meetings. Or like Em said, re register with the voucher.

The scones were a flop, absolutely terrible. So I had hexb bread with my soup. Stuffed now.

Mummyme87 · 05/05/2016 14:22

Only two weeks back fees? Oh wow, that's great. I was looking to pay £30 next week. I don't mind the groups and need it for motivation. I don't want a fresh start, would prefer to keep my record. Thanks for the info

justamo · 05/05/2016 14:48

Well done losers. I've lost my mojo. Another 0.5 on this week and I've got a head cold. Really feeling sorry for myself and want to bathe in chocolate whilst eating biscuits and drinking wine.

Maybe I'll try a few SP days next week. Need to plan but just can't be arsed bothered?

Please send back my motivation.

emwithme · 05/05/2016 16:30

I finally got the fucking back door closed, voted, ran my errands and then went and had fish and chips on the beach. Followed it up with a 99 (but no raspberry sauce). Was bloody delicious and just what I needed.

Today's food:

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins, cherry tomatoes
Snack: Satsumas
Late lunch: Fish and chips. 99. Can of diet coke Grin cos that makes all the difference
Dinner: Probably just soup or similar.
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Mummyme87 · 05/05/2016 16:40

Some motivation for myself, I have seemingly dropped a dress size on top and bottom 😳

maygirl · 05/05/2016 17:21

That's great mummyme! Going shopping with bday vouchers tomorrow, hope I can squeeze into smaller sizes!
Struggling with motivation too. Think will do a SOS log again as that helped last time, and update my list of 'reasons'
Ok foodwise so far
B o/n oats with berries heB
Milk in coffee 2syns, saving heA for cheese with dinner
Switched to peppermint tea for rest of day
L h/m soup. Apple, orange,
Snack cucumber and slices omelette, ryvita with spread of jam 2.5 syns
D will be shakshuka with added cannellini beans , pasta and heA cheese

KittyOShea · 05/05/2016 18:40

Back on plan today!

B- porridge, fruit, yoghurt
L- pea and ham soup, fruit, hi fi
D- chicken and bacon risotto

Syns- 2 sugar, 4.5 latte, 2 x hi fis 6 so total 12.5

Very excited as I just bought a gorgeous dress for my sister's wedding this summer in a size 10 Grin

froubylou · 05/05/2016 20:32

Felt rough today and for the first time in about a fortnight I had something sweet. One of those millionaires shortbread bites. It was nice but very very sweet.

L. Huge salad with tuna.

Snack. Shortbread bite.

T. Sw fry up.

Syns in snack, olives on salad and 2 chipolatas on fry up.

Really struggling to get my B choice in every day. I am not eating bread atm, and not a fan of cereal and not into nuts/seeds. Am going to have to have a look at the stewed fruit or something maybe have it with yoghurt. But it does seem silly to have something just for the sake of it.

36mum · 05/05/2016 22:24

Today is my sons 7th birthday and we had a birthday tea. Here is what I ate. It's the first time I've used all of my syns.

Breakfast
25g Cookie crisp

Lunch
Scrambled eggs

Dinner
Leek & Potato soup
Salmon sandwich (HE bread)
3 Chocolate fingers X2
3 Party rings X2
1 Jammie Dodger
0.5 Pot Hartley's Jelly

Snack
Ham - Waitrose wafer thin

250ml semi skim milk HE

TOTAL SYNS 15

cece · 05/05/2016 22:31

Hello,

I have been out and joined my local club this evening. I have been weighed Shock and have my info. Now to sit and read it - hoping to start tomorrow with a bowl of porridge with a chopped up banana on top.

EmilyK83 · 06/05/2016 07:44

Frouby - some tinned soups can be used as your B choice as well, might be worth looking into as an easy lunch with a salad on the side for speed?

Finished yesterday on 8 syns. Trying to be restrained this week as I really want my 3 stone award on Tuesday! It's a long shot, though - don't think I'll lose 3lb...

Today will look like this:

B - strawberries, satsuma and yoghurt

L - chicken salad, topped with a small amount of parsley sauce left over from last night

D - lamb souvlaki with rice and salad. May syn some hummus, will see how I feel later!

An Alpen Light and a Benefit bar for my HexB, and either a skinny latte or feta with dinner as my HexA...

KittyOShea · 06/05/2016 08:19

Today's menu

B- porridge, fruit, yoghurt
L- leftovers from last nights risotto, fruit
D- out for friend's birthday. The restaurant has a skinny menu so I'm ordering off that. Going to try to stick with a couple of glasses of prosecco and maybe one gin and slimline in pub afterwards. So a flexible syns day.

obrigada · 06/05/2016 09:22

Morning, threw out two pairs of jeans yesterday because they were too big Grin. Have 9 pound off in 6 weeks but can already feel a difference in my clothes.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 06/05/2016 09:26

Back on plan after two dodgy days. Yoghurt and fruit muffins this morning. Probably a SW ready meal for lunch and then Spanish omelette for tea. This week (and in fact, this year) has been a steaming pile of crap so am determined not to let it get to me.

PurpleVauxhall · 06/05/2016 11:28

Can I join in? 5lb down in 3 weeks. It's slow but I want to lose about 4 stone. I have a 2 month old and I spent my pregnancy and first few weeks with him (so basically nearly a year! ) eating everything in sight. Takeaways, loaves of bread, huge bars of Green and Blacks, frozen pizzas etc. I'm a vegetarian and did green days about 6 years ago but they've gone!!!

ALemonyPea · 06/05/2016 12:08

Welcome newbies.

I made the stupid mistake of forgoing breakfast this morning before I did my big food shop, but I survived! Starving though, and the pot of fruit I had when I got back hasn't hit the spot at all. So having a large lunch (oink oink)

Late breakfast: pot of fruit
D: Ham and pease pudding roll (hexb), salad, gherkins, beetroot, syn free potato salad
T: SW paella
Snack: bag of popcorn.

Weather is beautiful today, so planning on walking the three mile to school this afternoon

Buttwing · 06/05/2016 12:53

Hi all and welcome new people.

I didn't get to group this week at all and have been struggling. I feel like every morning I start with all these good intentions and then as the day goes on my willpower disintegrates! So today is day one (again!) I'm going to have a big lunch as I think sometimes a salad just isn't enough and I will have a bit of a lighter meal in the evening. I think I'm struggling because now I've lost three and a half stone I actually don't look that bad in clothes (Mrs big head Blush) I'm a size 12 but when the clothes come off I'm not happy so I guess I need to keep plodding on... Maybe I need to walk round in a bikini at home?! That would keep me out of the bloody biscuit tin!!

B-banana
L-sw shepards pie with veg
D-steak and salad

justamo · 06/05/2016 13:05

Buttwing I so relate to your post apart from the size 12 bit! I'm a 14 but tall so carry it off ( I think). I'm planning day one(again) for tomorrow as out with the tonight. I'm driving so it won't be a messy affair and I aim to be goodish with the food.

I'm confused with hex b choices can anyone help? I've just discovered a gorgeous chocolate, coffee and date muesli in Waitrose. It is devine with 0% yoghurt. According to the SW app 25g is 4.5 syns, the fruit & nut muesli is also 4.5 syns for 25g but 30g is flagged as a HEb so would 30g of my gorgeous discovery be a HEb?

ALemonyPea · 06/05/2016 14:12

I don't think so Justamo, just the fruit and nut if you have 30g.
