Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Hello ladies, I back and this time I mean it! DH is away until Friday and I can eat exactly what I want so I'm going to try and get back in the zone.

I'm also going to meal plan and online shop for next week so we've got no excuses once DH is back.

I'm feeling so bloated and yuk. I can't face the scales but I'm hoping that a few days on plan will make the number a bit less painless.

obrigada · 04/05/2016 09:47

Weighed in last night and lost a half pound, bit disappointed but at least it's going the right direction Grin

NapQueen · 04/05/2016 10:06

maygirl · 04/05/2016 10:28

Olive oil is a HEB on green days, but not EE or red days.
Struggling to get back on the wagon 😭

KittyOShea · 04/05/2016 11:02

VodkaIceAndLemon · 04/05/2016 11:54

I bought a couple of new summer tops yesterday. I've had to take them back today and swap them. FOR A SMALLER SIZE!!!!!!!! Grin

It's a great feeling. And really encouraging.

On a different note, I have a massive pot of ff Greek style yogurt. WTF can I do with it, apart from tip it over fruit? I rather think it was an impulse buy. But at least it wasn't chocolate!

froubylou · 04/05/2016 14:01

Been for 1st Wi and 3.5 lbs off. Yay.

Feeling a bit disheartened with the group though. Had toddler ds (2.5) with me and felt as though he wasn't welcome. He wasn't naughty, just being a toddler. I tried my very best to.keep him quiet but he just wouldn't. Leader made some passive aggressive comment to him about how no one would be able to hear her if he carried on chattering.

Stood up and walked out. So despite a good loss I feel pretty down about it all. I am not usually a sensitive little soul but its been a tough couple of weeks with him and that was just the icing on the cake.

There are some other groups I can get to so going to try a different one next week.

I loved my old sw consultant but we moved and it's just a bit too far for me to get to.

ALemonyPea · 04/05/2016 14:34

Well done on the loss Frouby. Definitely try another group if you felt unwelcome at this one. You can get a lot of support from groups and you should always leave feeling positive.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 04/05/2016 15:59

Lost 2lbs this week.

Today have had buffet at a funeral and a lot of wine, and will be having more later, so possibly going to put it all back on - but sod it. Back on track tomorrow...

KittyOShea · 04/05/2016 16:13

Congrats frouby!

I agree re different group. A number of people bring their children to ours and consultant is very welcoming.

Alpen Lights for HexB as a snack tonight, going to try and keep the syns as low as possible because of lunch!!

profpoopsnagle · 04/05/2016 16:49

Re frozen baked potatoes, I bake up 4-6 when I'm doing something else in the oven and freeze those for free. I tend to defrost before heating again but I imagine you wouldn't have to. Much nicer than microwaving a jacket only and so handy to have as a staple in your freezer.

ALemonyPea · 04/05/2016 17:05

Well done Bastards on your loss. I wouldn't worry about eating and drinking at a funeral (sorry for your loss Flowers), I'd imagine watching what you ate would be the last thing on your mind.

ALemonyPea · 04/05/2016 17:39

Goodness, that reads so wrong Blush

Well done on your weight loss...

Buttwing · 04/05/2016 17:52

Frouby unfortunately I've found that too. Toddlers are welcome but only if they're quietConfused
It was discussed at my old group at the majority of people at the group said they would rather it was toddler free as they hadn't paid £5 to listen to someone else's child.
I could kind of understand what they were saying and decided to weigh at night as I couldn't be arsed with the dirty looks if my toddler breathed too loud.

emwithme · 04/05/2016 19:04

At my group, we pass the babies round for cuddles, the toddlers do toddlery stuff (there's often balls rolling across the floor or Peppa Pig's car being chased), bigger kids sit on tablets (with headphones or the sound off). One little one clapped for the first time last week...we all had to stop for a minute because it was SO CUTE. There's sometimes half a dozen little ones but we still manage - and it's the Older Ladies who are chattering throughout!

Today has been bloody knackering and I'm not sure why, but I've got the day off work tomorrow (the Man From Indesit is coming to finally repair my tumble drier). I was supposed to have the assessment at College that was cancelled last week but the technical issues remain so it's still postponed. I'm having fish and chips anyway as it's WI in the morning and I've been craving them for 10 days now!

Today's food:

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins
Lunch: Ham salad, apple, pear, satsumas
Snack: Satsumas
Dinner: Cottage pie, carrots, broccoli.
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

froubylou · 04/05/2016 19:18

At my old group toddlers were welcome and everyone understood that they are just toddlers. Night groups were a different story but the morning sessions were much more family friendly.

What pissed me off most is some old dear declaring 'oh he's won, she's going now, he's won'.

Am very tempted to borrow all my nieces and nephews next week and take them too lol. Am going to a different group next week. The consultant is pretty poor from what I have seen. Doesn't seem to have a plan before she stands up, waffles on and lets other group members waffle and doesn't project her voice enough to carry across the large room. Plus she was 10 minutes late starting so I had sat with him for 40 minutes before we even started the meeting!

Today I had beef, pickled onions and beetroot for lunch. And having chippy tea. But only a handful of chips, a fish with no batter and mushy peas.

It's been that kind of day!

KittyOShea · 04/05/2016 19:24

3lbs on Blush

Not surprised after my excessive weekend. Am out this Friday only so am going to be sensible on the drinks!

EmilyK83 · 04/05/2016 20:15

Same at our group em - we have one toddler who comes along regularly and she makes everyone laugh - stealing people's handbags and dragging them along the floor! There's two older ladies who sit at the back and talk all the way through, think THEY should be banned instead...

Kitty - if you enjoyed the weekend and you know you can get back on plan, that's all that matters! Smile
