Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Well done on the 1.5 loss Lemony Smile and fingers crossed you will lose the 2lb next week for your stone off. It is easy to get discouraged when the scales don't reflect the effort you have put in but don't let it get you down Smile

EmilyK83 · 03/05/2016 10:44

Whoop whoop! 2lb off, so I'm now under 12 stone for the first time since I can remember!! Definitely having nachos tonight!!!

Now 2st 11lb lost since Jan 5th - determined to get 3lb off this week for my 3 stone award!

36mum · 03/05/2016 11:06

Lost 2lb, that's 11.5 in 3 weeks, pressure on to get my 1 stone next week not sure if I can do it.

EmilyK83 · 03/05/2016 11:29

Well done 36mum!

froubylou · 03/05/2016 14:21

Wow there are some inspiring losses on this thread.

My WI is tomorrow. My first since rejoining. If I lose 2 lbs it will put my overall loss at 7lbs for 11 days as I started following it a few days before the meeting.

B. Coffee
L. Ham salad with cottage cheese.
T. Roast beef with veg, roast potatoes (maybe), gravy and mashed swede/carrot.

Syns for the gravy, a choice in coffee and b choice for the oil in my roastis if I have them. Or maybe a couple of weetabit later if not.

VodkaIceAndLemon · 03/05/2016 14:40

I have no idea how I managed it, but I maintained at wi this morning! It must be the effort I made up to Friday lunchtime, because after that the plan went out of the window!!

I am really upping my game this week, I really want to lose 2lbs, to get my 2 stone award.

I'm going to make sure I have a proper lunch everyday, and count every single syn, and drink loads. Not alcohol though, not this week! Smile

ALemonyPea · 03/05/2016 16:58

I had a collision with a huge cream cake earlier. You'd think I'd feel good after having it, but feel crap.

Onwards and upwards. I've got that binge out my system and I can do this.

Well done on the losses everyone.

Buttwing · 03/05/2016 17:22

Frouby can you have oil as a b? I didn't know that. I knew you used to be able to have olive oil but my consultant said its changed now. Which one can we have?

Good day today after yesterday's disaster!

B-coffee
L-burger, wholemeal roll, salad and peppers
D-chicken madras and cauli rice poppadom (2)

Two hifis, mini curly wurly (3), 14 sprays oil (1) half a malted milk (1)

Gosh just realised I've had 7 syns they soon bloomin add up!!!

EmilyK83 · 03/05/2016 17:44

Well done Vodka! And well done Lemony - somehow missed your post earlier!

Pretty sure oil can't be used as HexB...

lonerboner · 03/05/2016 17:55

Lemony - I've had a bad binge too Sad

Time to get back on the horse tomorrow!!

froubylou · 03/05/2016 18:07

Oh bollocking hell. I thought it could.

I like oil as a B choice means I can cook pretty normal.

KittyOShea · 03/05/2016 18:27

Congrats losers!

I've been off plan all week. I've eaten out every meal for 3 days (was away for bank holiday) and did not make healthy choices. I've had a takeaway and a ton of bread. Dreading WI tomorrow Blush Sad

Syn-free carbonara:

For two fat bastards

Pack bacon, fat removed and snipped into small (1 cm x 1/2 cm ish) pieces
2 onions
300 g mushrooms (optional, we leave these until the end as DH doesn't like them)
Garlic - minimum of 2 cloves, more if you like (we do)
Quark - 1/2 tub for 2 people

Fry bacon, onion, mushrooms and garlic. Add quark and enough water to make a creamy sauce. Toss through pasta. Eat.

NapQueen · 03/05/2016 18:44

Hi can I jump aboard? Im restarting today after a year off the waggon. Do you do stats on here or just chat?

Ive made the SW cottage pie with carrot and sweede mash for tea; it feels really odd not to coat it in gravy but its more a tomato based dish so thatd be weird.

Im going to read back over he thread for some tips etc but the recipe posted above for Carbonara is so good! I made that a lot last time - super quick!

CupcakesRule · 03/05/2016 18:46

Ok so day 1 here it is!

B: Miller light and banana
Lunch:"skinny" soup (1/2 pot) and slice of warburtons bread HE. Butter 2 syns
Dinner: spag Bol with veg & courgetti

Milk in tea - HE.

Will have a curly wurly later - 6 syns

Does that seem OK?

ChessieFL · 03/05/2016 19:05

The B choice is about fibre so oil isn't a B choice. I think it used to be a HE choice on a previous plan, but not any more.

emwithme · 03/05/2016 19:10

Yes, olive oil (1 tbsp) used to be a HEB when there were red/green days but not since there's only been EE.

profpoopsnagle · 03/05/2016 19:12

Congrats losers and welcome joiners

-1.5lbs for me which I am very happy with given wine/fish and chips over the weekend. Brings me up to 8lbs, I'm not the biggest or fastest loser but it's going and I don't feel like I'm on a diet. It's been interesting watching my milk allowance as I have definitely kept more of an eye on that, though I did decide that it was better to have a cup of tea for 1/2 a syn than to eat more syns. I also bought 3 types of cabbage in my last supermarket shop....

B- 2x shredded wheat +yoghurt. (2)
L- salad with bacon, pastrami and tuna mayo, yoghurt (1)
D- 3x heck sausages, mash and spring greens/red onion in garlic. (1)
Snacks- babybel, foxes triple biscuit (4.5) banana, apple x3

May have a glass of wine later, not sure yet.

lonerboner · 03/05/2016 20:20

Olive Oil does count as a HexB

lonerboner · 03/05/2016 20:21

I joined a month ago & that was on the HEXB sheet

calzone · 03/05/2016 20:21

Nap.....you can do whatever you like! Stats, chat, photos, recipes.....

Haven't got my head in the maintaining game yet so not really sure what I'm doing.....
Am food optimising but am allowed 2 hebs not one.

Not weighing tomorrow but must next week......

EmilyK83 · 03/05/2016 20:50

Bizarre...I joined in Jan and oil's not in the book! Not on the app as a HexB either...

Interesting to know Calzone! I think I'd rather have an extra HexA than HexB... Miss my cheese!

SeaLionsOnMyShirt · 03/05/2016 21:24

I've been lurking on this thread for a few weeks, but I think I need to join it as after 2 fabulous weeks at SW, I've fallen right off plan over the weekend and feel dreadful as a result and then chickened out of WI yesterday. And I feel hungrier than I was on the plan! I lost 9lbs in 2 wks and I'm sure I've put half of it back on, feel v bloated. Someone kick me up the backside please and make me get back on it?!

BTW - I love the idea of that carbonara recipe, I'm going to try that tomorrow - thank you!

emwithme · 03/05/2016 21:30

Yeah, oil's not in the book or online. Am waiting for my consultant to respond to a FB post to see what the "official" line is. I know it used to be a HEB (when there were red/green days) but didn't think it was any more.

Bought this from Asda earlier - fabulous with my salmon and mushrooms for an SP day.
