Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Had a huge breakfast this morning, still feel stuffed. Went for a little hike to blow the cobwebs away. Had to finish early as was raining too hard. Typically, it's now brilliant sunshine.

B: bacon, mushrooms, eggs, 3 slices crustless wholemeal (hexb), tomatoes
D: tuna and salad cream (1.5 syns) wrapped in lettuce, pickled onions, gherkins, melon
T: spaghetti bolognese with grated cheese (hexa)
Snack: velvet crunch crisps 4.5 syns

Well...lunch plans changed. We were out longer than expected, so ended up in an Asda cafe...was planning on a jacket potato but they didn't have any, and everything else was fried and came with chips!

So while dp had fish and chips, I nipped back into Asda and grabbed a potato, egg, cucumber, lettuce and tomato salad (free as I threw away the sachet of salad cream) and a 2 syn pack of sushi. Determined to have a loss tomorrow!!

Hope I'm ok to join this thread! I just joined SW after losing approx 3 stone on WW but wanted a change after they changed to Smartpoints. I lost 4lb first weigh in this week (was Sat) so I am really pleased and surprised, as I ate carbs at every meal Grin

Saturday was then a total write-off as we had a big family celebration and went to a lovely restaurant where everything on the menu was cooked in cream or cheese etc. Oh well!

Yesterday went fine and today had a pub lunch of steak, salad and jacket potato- just synning any oil it was cooked in and I cut off the fat from the steak, so can't be too bad.

About to eat a 1 syn slice of lemon drizzle cake!

My weight has been up and down this week I don't know why, it's my birthday today and I'm still resisting all the naughty stuff, worried I will feel deflated at tomorrow's weigh in, it's at 10am tomorrow

36, you shouldn't weigh yourself, I find it makes me feel worse. Plus your scales will be different to the SW ones

Wi tomorrow.
Menu today
Breakfast - porridge and frozen raspberries
Lunch - iceland sw soup and brown roll
Tea - sweet and sour chicken from sw website with salad on the side.

Have tried to make the mueller light mixed with options in the freezer thing that is meant to taste like choc buttons. Mine just taste like mueller light mixed with options frozen - ok but not like chocolate. Just like little bites of frozen yog. 2 syns for the whole portion so all good.

Made carrot cake at home and had a tint sliver. Determined for a good loss this week so being strong!

Welcome to all the newbies!

Am at target now having lost 3 stone 3 lbs. I can't lose anymore at the moment as am at the top of my target. I was 14st 3lbs and am now 11 stone. My target was 11st 3lbs.

It's quite exciting really as am eating things I don't often eat......am having a few more syns, drinking a bit more .....but watching what I'm doing.

Am not quite where I want to be so am doing a maintain for a while and will get back on track and down to 10 stone 7lbs.

Does anyone know how many grams of this I can have as a HEXa please? I thought all light soft cheese counted as HEXa but one of my friends told me this one didn't and now I'm confused!

In the book it says 75g of any reduced fat/low fat soft cheese.

Hi all and welcome to the newbiesSmile

I've drawn a line under today as we've been out for tea with the kids and it all went very a bit wrong.
It was meant to be my weigh in tonight but I couldn't make it ( because I was out eating!) so I'm going on Wednesday night. I'm hoping I may be able to pull it back with an so day tomorrow and on Wednesday before weigh in.

Evening all.

BIt of a mixed weekend. Friday and Saturday were takeaways. Indian friday and Thai on Saturday. But I have been super good apart from them. Steak, potatoes and veg last night. Jacket spud with salad, tuna, and ff cottage cheese today.

Hopefully will have a loss still on Wednesday.

Tomorrow we are having roast beef with all the trimmings. Bought extra veg and going to skip the spuds I think. Will syn the gravy and miss the Yorkshire pudding. And I have salad for lunch with turkey breast so might try and sp day to give my loss a boost.

Am contemplating 2 days a week (Mon and Tues) as sp days. Or doing fast days. I like sw but tend to stall after 6 weeks so lose motivation.

Well despite being shark star week, I have stayed On Plan all weekend. Meal planned for the week on Saturday so on Saturday night we had steak, yesterday was roast beef and today was HM beef burgers. Guess I was a bit iron deficient Grin

Today was an SP day:

Brunch: Bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato
Snacks: Apple, pear, satsumas.
Dinner: HM beefburgers, roasted portobello mushrooms, salad with mustard-quark dressing two of DH's chips
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Think it's going to be an SP day tomorrow too so hopefully this should show on the scales on Thursday (when it's Fish & Chips all the way)

Oh dear, fallen off the wagon this weekend (after Saturday am WI) - in fact, wagon so far out of sight I can't even see it! Hoping four days on super-strict On Planning will mean I can pull it back (would be embarrassed to have a gain at only my third WI!). Well done to all with losses. Calzone - congrats on reaching target! 11 stone is my target too (seems a long way off right now!). What is the biggest difference you have noticed having lost over 3stone?

Clothes is the biggest change Mam!

Have gone from a tight 16 to a comfortable 10 in lots of clothes which is great.
I can feel my hip bone and collar bone but not in a too skinny way.

I just feel better and look better. Will post my photos if you want to see them.

Calzone - intrigued to hear what a normal day's meals look like now you're able to relax things a little, I always wonder what happens when people get to target!

Today's plan:

B - none (weigh in at 9.30)

L - leftover tandoori chicken and mushrooms with veg

D - if I lose, it'll be nachos with unweighed cheese, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and refried beans. If I don't, it'll be SW carbonara and salad...

Alpen Lights as HexB, and I'll save my HexA in case of nachos :)

Good luck today, Emily Hope you get your nachos tonight. I am Very looking forward to fish & chips on Thursday night (whether I have a gain or not, I am having fish and chips and curry sauce on Thursday night)

I am trying not to stand on the bathroom scales between now and WI. It's going to be difficult, and I think I may even get DH to hide them. It doesn't affect what I eat during the day (because at work if I wanted anything I didn't take with me I have to walk 10 minutes to the local shop, and at home we don't have things in that aren't on plan very often!) but it does affect my mood.

I'd really like to get a few more lbs off before the ILs visit at the end of the month. The last time I saw them I had lost about a stone so they should notice a difference now I've lost a further stone and a half. I'm also 2 lbs off my lightest ever weight (well, not my lightest ever but I think 6 lbs 8 oz is unattainable for an adult Grin ) which is 5 stone lighter than my heaviest ever of six years ago. I still have my "fat" trousers in a size 24 (with the waistband super-stretched)...they are in my drawer along with my current size 14 skinny jeans. I'm not sure what I want my final target to be (current is an interim at 3 stone lost - this time - or just under 5 1/2 overall) but I think it's going to be around 12 stone. I'd quite like to lose that bit (around 24 lbs) over the next six months and then DH and I will start TTC (and I can gain it all back, but hopefully in the form of baby rather than fat!)

Today's plan is another SP day.

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins (bacon, onion, mushroom)
Lunch: Roast beef salad with mustardy-quark dressing, apple, pear, satsuma
Dinner: Salmon fillets with baby button mushrooms and onions.

HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

1.5lbs lost. Gutted it wasn't more as I've been so good, but a loss is a loss and going the right way. 2lb more for my stone, somhopefully will get that next week.

I've been so good the past three weeks, no cheating or going over my syns. Wonder if I should have a little blow out today. Tempted, but still afraid that if I do I'll not be able to get back on.

So today plan, should it go well
B: ham and pease pudding, carrot sticks, melon, strawberries and yoghurt
D: Ryvita and philli with gherkins
T: Salmon and rice
