Great loss Katenka and Happy Birthday Hay.

I have a big birthday coming up this week which is one of the reasons I want to get my weight under control. Trying to concentrate more on bmi and weight now than dress size.

Went a little bit pear shaped yesterday - I don't think buttons before breakfast was a good start and I do find it hard to stop at just one bit of chocolate. I think it awakens my sweet tooth. However finished only one or two syns over for the whole week and back on it today so feeling good.

trinity the max is either 35 or 39 stones (depending on the scales) but they can get ones that go higher if necessary.

Had a lovely 4 day weekend here with DH. Was a bit naughty but in total only had 2 hot cross buns with butter (20 syns), 1 creme egg (9 syns) and some of DH's egg (8 syns) so nowhere near as bad as I could've been.

Today I have made some breakfast muffins for the week ahead so I can have a free breakfast before work without having to think about it, and have diet coke chicken ready to go later, as well as having a load of salad veggies (radish, celery, carrot, cucumber, peppers) chopped up for my lunch. Not bad considering DH and I didn't get out of bed until 2 pm Blush

Food:

Brunch: Bacon, mushrooms, fried egg (I successfully managed frylight fried eggs for the first time!)
Snack: Apple, melon
Dinner: Diet coke chicken, rice
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

No breakfast
L raw Courgetti salad with heA mozzarella cheese, olives 1.5 syn, tomatoes, green beans, peppers cucumber. Dressing made out of quark .
25 g dark choc egg 6.5 syn
Long walk with family
Other half of dark choc egg 6.5syn with coffee 1 syn
D chickpea curry, Brown rice, veggies . Used up syns but will have 1 poppadom for 2 syns and be over by 2.5 syns .Second half choc egg unplanned eating after got rained on Blush

Charlotte I got mine from ebay but they can go for silly money. Can you just go to one class and get a pack - may work out cheaper.

Good on you trinity - in think signing up is the hardest bit.

I planned to start at the beginning of the year but in the end it was the first week of February. I had a cold and really didn't want to trek across town on a cold evening after a day at work, but I forced myself to do it and am so glad I did.

It'll be 7 weeks tomorrow, and although the weight isn't coming off quite as quickly as I'd hoped (tbf I always have my 15 syns a day, and one off-plan day most weekends) my mindset has already changed drastically. I automatically make more sensible choices most of the time, I don't think about being 'on a diet' and it never occurs to me now that I might fail to reach my target, even if it takes a little longer than I might have estimated at the beginning.

My only regret is being so Hmm & stubborn about slimming clubs for so long previously - I could have done this years ago, but better late than never.

Good day today as have been busy.

B - grapefruit & orange segments

L - hummus, crudités, chicken pieces, apple

D - marinated chicken, sweet potato wedges & huge salad
Strawberries & chocolate quark

HexA - milk in 2 drinks & 1 babybel light
HexB - 2 x HiFi lights

Syns: olives (1.5), 1/4 avocado (4?), ryvita minis (4.5), choc snack a jack (3), 1 malteser (0.5) = 13.5

Cooking a late dinner of syn-free veggie sausages, mash and veggies - only just got home after a 4 hr drive back from Kent and starving!

Well done losers and Trinity for signing up, I was so nervous I thought I was going to be sick.

Back on plan today and feels good to be honest after 3 days off my stomach hates me and ibs playing up again so back to good eating and hope for a maintain at best.

Well, I stuffed myself full of chocolate after weigh in yesterday. I held off eating my Easter egg until after weigh in.

I felt shocking last night. Awful stomach ache, and the runs this morning Blush.

Shall not be doing that again. It's so odd as at Christmas I ate loads of shit and didn't feel this crap. Or maybe I just got used to feeling crap all the time I just didn't notice.

Either way it's great. Totally put me off binging again. Grin

I've been lurking for a while. Inspired by success stories I bit the bullet and signed up on Thursday. Probably not the wisest idea just before the Easter weekend...Ho hum. Been well over the syns for the last 4 days but would have been so much worse if I hadn't signed up.

Aiming to do this properly for the 2 days before weigh in now.

I have real fridge issues too! Need an American-style one now.
Got weigh in later. I don't think I can face staying to the group, I'll see how feel. Please wish me luck, I did have one heavy evening ( drink rather than food), but have been on plan the rest of the week.
I hate having to set a target, especially when people around me are saying 3/4lb when I know that that kind of loss just isn't realistic for me. I haven't got loads to lose ( lost a lot already, outside of SW) and I do lose slowly.
When I joined I said I wanted to lose a stone, which still puts me in the slightly overweight bracket. I hadn't realised that you have free meetings if you reach target and maintain. No wonder she didn't look very happy! Never mind, looks as if my stone is still a little way off. I will be ok if I have maintained this week but really happy if I manage to lose.
