Lost 2 so back where I was a month ago. Oh well , onwards and downwards...

Signoritawhocansway · 13/04/2016 20:48

Hi everybody. Well done calzone - that's brilliant!

B'fast today was two slices of toast and marmite

Lunch - rice salad

Tea - chicken goulash and cauliflower couscous.

I got Woman's Own, and the voucher. I must say I'm a bit flabbergasted at the cost of joining online - even with the voucher, it's £25 for three months - but then I guess that's a saving of not paying for class every week. So I think I may have to really bite the bullet and go to a class, coz I can't afford that up front. At least then I will only have to go to one class to get the books then can continue on my merry way!

BasinHaircut · 13/04/2016 21:01

Well done calzone!!!

KittyOShea · 13/04/2016 21:25

Okay SP experts I have a question...

I know we're not supposed to eat any other free foods but could I have 1 yoghurt in my porridge and syn it? It is a free yoghurt but the full fat ones of same brand are 3.5 syns so if I count that could I get away with it?

EmilyK83 · 13/04/2016 21:34

Wooooooo...well done calzone, that's amazing!

And well done may!

Well done and congrats calzone

I am doing my best while away from home this week - home tomorrow evening. Logged on to the SW website to log some exercise and got a 'well done for logging back on' type message, so must have looked like I had given up after a week Grin

inchoccyheaven · 14/04/2016 01:02

Well done Calzone must feel amazing. Friday is my wi day and hoping to have lost another 2lb. I am weighing every day but Thursday so as to build tension Grin I'm sure I will stop weighing every day when novelty wears off. Am due period soon so that's bound to throw it all out just as started sw!!

Tried a new recipe from old magazine friend lent me for turkey pizza but it wasn't a great sucess so will just keep trying other things. Used 10 syns on garlic bread tonight but they were only ones for the day and not been using them during week really.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 14/04/2016 07:18

Well done losers.

Slightly off plan yesterday as had some bad news. Will make the next fortnight rather tricky but have started off with yoghurt and fruit and am determined to avoid chocolate.

AvaLeStrange · 14/04/2016 07:48

Flowers Bastards...hope you're ok.

randomer · 14/04/2016 08:24

nice one calzone! do you have any inspiring words for us strugglers pls!

EmilyK83 · 14/04/2016 08:24

Well done Oriana!

Hope you're ok, Youre...

Still feeling like crap here with this cold/cough - it's done my back in as well! Still trying to eat properly, though, and gets lots of fluids down me...

Today's plan:

B - oatbran (HexB) made with water, mixed with free yoghurt and topped with grated apple and cinnamon

L - leftover lamb, lentil and vegetable soup

D - leftover lemon spiced chicken with chickpeas and spinach

We love leftovers in this house! Not sure what my HexA will be, maybe a skinny latte, and syns may well be in the form of honey mixed with hot water and lemon...

ALemonyPea · 14/04/2016 09:48

Well done Calzone! How long did it take you to get there?

My menu today
B: cheesy beans on toast (hexa + hexb)
D: prawns and brown rice fried together with peppers and corn, some soy sauce and whatever spices I decide on
T: meant to be getting chinese, undecided what yet, maybe a chicken chop suey, no rice or noodles. How many syns do you think that would be?

justamo · 14/04/2016 10:47

Give us a twirl calzone ! Twit twoo, well done.

emily you are so rock n roll with your syn choice today Wink I hope you feel better soon.

Off to group for first time in 2 weeks, not expecting a loss, hoping it's not a gain. I'm hoping some inspiring words will get my head back in the game, I'm not feeling the SW love at the mo.

OrianaBanana · 14/04/2016 11:06

Must get more weight off, 1.5lbs is great but this 1.5lbs has been coming on and off for months. Next target is 2.5lbs off to get back to my pre-Christmas weight, if I have a stonker of a week I might do it. Didn't help that I scarfed a choc chip muffin last night after group Blush and I've just eaten some cake BlushBlush.

Good news is I'm 5 weeks pregnant! So I'll probably get sick soon, that will help.

B - caramel hifi (HExB), apple, (decaff!) coffee (HExA)
L - speed soup, seafood sticks, mullerlight (1), pear
D - whatever is going off first in the fridge - suspect it's mince so spag bol including carrots and courgettes plus speed on the side.
S - cake! (10?), satsumas, pear

Wasn't as good at my Indian meal as I should have been. Had chilli chicken for starter. Think the only thing to count from that would be oil so say 4 Syns. Chicken chettinad estimate 17 Syns (same as balti, best guess) half a naan 10 Syns and half a portion of pilau rice 2.5 Syns. ShockBeen for a 4K walk/run with the buggy to undo some of the damage.

Today's plan
Breakfast toast with lurpack he and 2 Syns

Lunch
Turkey bacon, scrambled egg and mushrooms free

Dinner
Prawns in tomato sauce with feta (he) and rice free

EmilyK83 · 14/04/2016 12:43

Haha I know, just - living on the edge! Good luck today...

OrianaBanana · 14/04/2016 16:16

My withdrawn message wasn't anything rude just a duplicate Grin

BasinHaircut · 14/04/2016 17:44

Congratulations oriana Smile

KittyOShea · 14/04/2016 18:32

Congratulations Oriana Flowers

Today has been my first ever kinda sp day.

B- porridge, cinnamon, raspberries (and a sneaky non sp yoghurt)
L- chicken salad
D- chicken with tarragon and mustard, with stir fried veg and carrot chips!

Hexb 2-2 hi fis
Syns- sugar 2, salad dressing 1 and counting 3.5 for the yoghurt (or 6 for the hi fis if it's not really sp!)

Proper sp day tomorrow. Trying to make up for the inevitable excesses of a night away with old uni friends at the weekend.

maygirl · 14/04/2016 18:57

Congratulations Oriana!!
B weetabix heB with grated apple, banana, cinnamon, heA milk
Run and 1 hr weights and abs
L couscous, edame , chickpeas, tomatoes, carrots, harissa 1 syn
Lots of walking
Hi fi 3 syns
D muscle foods meatballs x2 0.5 syns each, in tomato sauce with courgetti and spaghetti.
Wine 8 syns , a sweet 2 syns

justamo · 14/04/2016 19:05

Congratulations Oriana on the loss and the gain Smile

I lost a measly 0.5lb. Over 2 weeks it's a bit pathetic but I guess a loss is a loss.

I would like to loose 1 stone and was hoping that signing up for 12 weeks to SW would focus my mind and stop me from mindless snacking, sadly it's not. I do a fair bit of sport/exercise and reward myself with sweet treats . I also justify eating chocolate and biscuits by telling myself that lunch (usually ryvita, cheese triangles & fruit) was low cal - I need to change that mindset. Please feel free to talk sternly to me. Today's not looking too bad, i need to maintain the momentum

B - weetabix muffin, pear, choc shot (1syn)
L - chicken, pickles, carrot sticks, cheese triangles, Apple, choc bunny (3)
D - bbq ribs (3 syns) rice salad, yoghurt
Snack - a slither of fruit cake (5?), hifi
Exercise - 3.5 mile run, 30 day shred dvd

EmilyK83 · 14/04/2016 19:47

Congrats Oriana - on both counts!
