Just checked and It's a small warburtons loaf not Aldi brand sorry doh !

tabulahrasa · 13/04/2016 09:19

B choice bread doesn't need to be branded, it's 60g no matter what make as long as it's Wholemeal...and that's usually 2 slices from a 400g loaf, it only wouldn't be if it's one if those half size loaves where the slices are the size of a big loaf.

I will catch up on the thread later, haven't been on for a day or 2, I've been going off the rails again!

I don't know what is the matter with me, I just can't stop eating crap!

I'm so annoyed with myself, I'm self sabotaging to a ridiculous level. I really don't know how DH and I managed to do 2 months of great work and then it all went to pot. I have a freezer full of batch cooked stuff and have meal planned and shopped for the week, but we still don't stick to it.

Part of it is home is pretty chaotic at the moment and DH and I both use food as an escape. DS (2.8) is going through a weird stage. He isn't sleeping well and keeps waking up screaming, he has completely regressed on potty training and his behaviour is awful just now. He has had a big growth spurt too so I'm just hoping it's a development thing and that we can ride it out (and soon!).

We are also still doing up the house. Not much left to do but my mind is so occupied with stuff I need to do that I don't have the headspace to focus properly on this diet.

For example last night we didn't get home until 8pm as we had to go and sort the new kitchen out. Then we had to get DS to bed and so ended up ordering a takeaway because we just couldn't be arsed to cook but were starving. Didn't eat until after 9 and then DS woke at 10 screaming and in the end it was 12:30 before we all got to bed properly.

So this morning I am exhausted and have a list of calls I need to make, I need to start thinking about meal planning and shopping list for my next food shop or else we will run out of food. But I'm at work today, had to do nursery drop off and pick up because DH is out tonight. Then I'll have to deal with DS on my own tonight and it will likely be gone 9 before I'm in a position to cook again tonight. I also need to make sure I do some washing later as levels are getting dangerous!

And oh BUGGER! I was supposed to do DS's passport form last night so add that to the list of things to do tonight!

obrigada · 13/04/2016 09:39

Had my second weigh in last night and lost 3lbs, that's 6 and a half pounds in the two weeks. I know I won't lose like this every week, I ate so bad before starting SW that I was bound to see some weight loss.

HelenF35 · 13/04/2016 09:39

Today's plan

Breakfast
Fat free yoghurt and berries free

Lunch
Baked potato cheese and beans (cheese is he) free

Dinner

We are going out for an Indian, no idea how many Syns it will be so going to have to be very good the rest of the week! Shock Am not having naan and will have boiled rice. Starter is going to be chicken tikka, main will chicken chettinad so probably quite a bit of oil. I think I'll assume 35 Syns! I've not gone over 6 this week yet so should be ok.

sparkle789 · 13/04/2016 10:09

Hi I haven't really posted but have been reading.
Weighed in yesterday and lost 2lbs. Then binged last night.
I'm struggling today, af is due and I have bad pmt and just want to eat everything.
I had an alpen bar for breakfast not sure the rest of my meals yet.

EmilyK83 · 13/04/2016 10:45

Breakfast out was smoked salmon with thyme scrambled eggs and sourdough toast this morning. To be on the safe side, I'm going to count 20 syns for bread, butter and oil. No more syns at all today!!

ALemonyPea · 13/04/2016 13:05

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining.

I joined SW yesterday, and so far going ok, I feel constantly full and peeing like a racehorse even though I've not drunk any more water than usual. I was doing we, but they changed the whole programme and couldn't get to grips with it.

This is my menu today
B: Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, 2 slices small whole meal bread (hexb) with spread (1.5 syn) followed by pear and strawberries chopped up with fat free vanilla yoghurt
D: Jacket potato, beans, mahoosive salad of lettuce and cucumber
T: Pasta bolognese made from scratch with passata, onions, mushrooms, garlic and cheese (hexa)

HelloTomHardy · 13/04/2016 14:37

Hi everyone - please can I join? Smile

I have been trying to lose weight for 2 years now, starting at 13.13 and currently 10.12 - my final target is 10 stone and I just cannot seem to get the last bit off! I have turned to slimming world as I have heard amazing things and seen great results, I am hoping it will give me the boost to get this last stubborn 12lbs off!!!

Reading all of your wonderful posts and ideas is very motivating and hopefully I will be able to join in with recipe ideas once i've got into the swing of things!!

Xx

HuckleberryGin · 13/04/2016 15:10

Hi, some really good success stories here!

I've lost half a stone so far, but the last 2 weeks have been 0.5 lb off each. I've stalled a bit this week, I think I'll have a gain.

Breakfast is my main issue, I normally have all bran (due to some side effects of some meds I take!) But then I have to count all the milk in my tea and coffee, so every day is at least 6 syns. At weekends I have scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, but not enough time on a work day.

randomer · 13/04/2016 16:38

i want rubbish and i want it now

calzone · 13/04/2016 18:33

Hi All!

Well done to the latest losers and Flowers Star to Calzone - that's brilliant!

Have had a spectacularly rubbish three weeks with family stuff going on, so haven't really made any progressed, but have maintained my 10lb off, and last week bought a new pair of jeans in a size smaller and a slimmer fit than I was wearing when I started so I can't complain. I'm sure if I wasn't going to SW I'd have put on at least half a stone.

So back on it properly today...

B: Melon, peach, strawberries, 0% Greek yoghurt with honey (1.5)

Snack: Apple & HiFi light (3)

Lunch: Piri piri chicken, salad & cous cous, ryvita minis, Greek Muller light (5)

Snack: HiFi light, slice ham (3)

Dinner: Stir fried chicken with onion, pepper, carrots, babycorn, mange tout, courgette & broccoli
Choc chip snack a jack with white choc quark & raspberries (2.5)

Hex A: Milk in 2 coffees & a Babybel light
Hex B: Nothing yet, but might have a slice of toast & marmite later.
