Also I am currently enjoying a crushed meringue nest, banana, and fage with options 😵😍

AgentDunham · 09/04/2016 21:12

Bloody lovely fizz. Full 'o' syns. Totally worth it tho and a big walk mañana to work some of it off.

Zola1980 · 09/04/2016 21:47

I'm joining in if nobody minds :)
Started last week online and have lost 4pounds in first WI. Finding it pretty ok so far as long as I plan all my dinners out for the week!
I need some lunch inspiration though so will keep an eye on your diaries for ideas!

trinitybleu · 09/04/2016 22:06

Have jumped on my phone, but with ballet shoes hopefully ...

EmilyK83 · 09/04/2016 22:24

Ugh. Plenty of body magic tonight. Babysitting my 15mo goddaughter at ours overnight - and someone really doesn't want to sleep. Well, only wants to sleep on me. As soon as I try and put her in her travel cot, she starts screaming. At least it's taking away time I could've spent eating my syns in chocolate, I guess...

BendydickCuminsnatch · 09/04/2016 23:06

Thats the spirit, Emily! Grin good luck!

EmilyK83 · 09/04/2016 23:14

Haha thanks Bendy! She's settled now, which is good...normally fine when I look after her at hers overnight, guess being in a strange place away from home doesn't agree with her!

I'm now on the chocolate... Grin

KittyOShea · 10/04/2016 08:36

Morning fellow slimmers

Hope the babysitting went well Emily and welcome Zola.

Today's plan

B- porridge, raspberries, cinnamon, yoghurt, melon
L- pea and ham soup
D- ham risotto (I have a lot of delicious leftover roast ham to use!)

Meeting a friend for coffee later so realistically I'll have a skinny latte (3 and a half) but am going to take a hi fi with me so I don't go nuts on caffe Nero goodies! Determined to have a full on plan weekend before my birthday/ hen etc season starts for the next couple of months!

DrHarleenFrancesQuinzel · 10/04/2016 09:24

Im feeling sad today. dont know why. I have just lost all motivation. When I started this I was all like yeah I can do this. I could feel my slimmer self coming through and I was really excited. Now I just have no motivation and really CBA. Still need to try though. My eating plans are

B: Weetabix with milk and apple (HEA & HEB)
L: Omelette and Beans
D: Pie, bubble and squeak mash with SW cauliflower cheese (Im just going to try to mix cottage cheese with the cauliflower and see how it works). I like both broccoli and cauliflower cheese so this might be a way to get them into me.

Im also planning on a long run this afternoon. Hopefully it will give me some motivation and make me feel better. I need it.

EmilyK83 · 10/04/2016 10:45

Babysitting was ok thanks Kitty - some serious sleep issues but she's so happy this morning that I can't be annoyed!

Waiting for her to be picked up, then off out shopping for this week's meals, starting with today...

B - fat free natural yoghurt and strawberries

L - picky bits - hard boiled eggs, ham, chopped veggies, pickles

D - pizza made with Asda wholemeal bread mix (HexB) and HexA cheese, plus random toppings out the fridge. And a salad!

Syns to be in the form of a weight watchers chocolate biscuit bar (4.5) and maybe some extra cheese on my pizza...

trinitybleu · 10/04/2016 11:04

Ooohhh, tell me about bread mix for pizza .....

Back on today and aiming for 3 weeks without a blip this time. I did enjoy it too, so that'll help. Nothing more annoying than a blip that isn't even tasty!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 10/04/2016 11:25

There was clearly something wrong with the pastry because I had agonising stomach cramps all night. Have just got up. That should save some Syns!

EmilyK83 · 10/04/2016 11:39

Maybe your stomach's not used to all the fat anymore Youre! Hope you feel better soon...

Trinity - 60g (made up weight) of Asda's wholemeal bread mix can be used as a HexB. I think I'm going to make the whole pack up today, use 60g for my pizza then freeze the rest in 60g portions so it's ready for future pizzas!

EmilyK83 · 10/04/2016 13:55

Plans changed. Asda had run out of wholemeal bread mix :(

Lunch is still picky bits, but with the addition of my HexA cheese and HexB Finn Crisp crispbreads. Dinner will be WW sausages (0.5 Syns each) with mash, beans and spinach...

Katenka · 10/04/2016 14:29

Hi everyone!!

Dr hope you are feeling a bit better this afternoon!

Had a good week although over the week I have had a 200g bar of chocolate. Stayed within my Syns, having a few squares a day. But still can't imagine I can eat that and lose weight. Still taking some getting used to.

emwithme · 10/04/2016 15:16

Been busy so far today (well, this afternoon, cos I didn't get up until midday Grin ) - I've chopped a load of stuff (radish, celery, peppers, cucumber) for salads for lunches for the week, made breakfast muffins for tomorrow and Tuesday, hard-boiled a couple of eggs for lunch tomorrow (having a green day so I can have 2 x HEA), and I've got a lemon drizzle cake about to come out of the oven.

Shortly I shall be cracking on with some studying while DH cleans the bathrooms.

Brunch: Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomato.
Snack: Lemon drizzle cake, apple, satsumas
Dinner: Roast beef, roast potatoes, yorkies, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, proper gravy
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

randomer · 10/04/2016 17:42

hey there one and all especially doc.......how about batch cooking and freezing stuff. Bit boring maybe but its done then and you spend less time thinking about food.

Jelliebabe1 · 10/04/2016 20:24

Hiya! Mind if I join in!?!?!

I'm rejoining (been a member too many times to count) having just had twins girls (well 6 months ago!) and packing on the weight hanging out at home. Been feeling sorry for myself so I've been shutting up my miserable self with cake, toast and cheese. I had a bit of an upsetting appointment with my rheumatologist and fortunately this has spurred me on to rejoin and sort myself out! Also want to be a good example as a mum and not to be on a diet all the time but just a healthy eater.

Anyway, that's me, two days down. I've got the week planned and shopped for and hoping for a good first week to kick me off! Grin

calzone · 10/04/2016 20:30

Back to work tomorrow. I am on lunch duty and shouldn't really sneak off to eat - going to aim to have a jacket spud with a little bit of cheese. And then avoid the biscuits at training after school.

DH made a trout pate today - trout, quark, basil and lemon juice, all whizzed up. It was very nice.

DrHarleenFrancesQuinzel · 10/04/2016 20:52

Thanks Katenka Its amazing what a 7 mile run can do for my mental well-being. I dont have depression or any mental illness as such, but I can easily find myself feeling down when life gets a bit dull or rubbish (as it does) and often find the best 'cure' for me is a good run.

All prepared for tomorrow. Apart from WI. Really worried. I think because last week was a maintain, Ive lost a bit of confidence. Plus Ive not been 100% on plan throughout the week. Thurs night was curry with beer for DH's birthday. Fri night was KFC. Ive tried to pull it back a bit yesterday and today, plus I always have tomorrow. If I dont get a loss (even a small one) I dont know if I will be able to get back on track.

Anyway bit of a ramble there. Foodwise, Im all prepared. Overnight oats are sorted. Eggs are hard boiled. Also my fave snack couscous is sorted (that will be 0.5 syns though, but it will be the only syns before WI) Just have salad to sort and the fruit to take with me.

maygirl · 10/04/2016 20:54

katenka · 11/04/2016 07:01

Morning all.

DR glad to hear you are feeling better.

Tbh sometimes a maintain helps me focus. Especially if I know why. Did you count up the Syns, even just approximately? For me this works because sometimes you realise it's not has bad as you think. Or if it is high you know what to expect when you get on the scales. The unexpected maintain or gains are what really depress me. You may be different, but just wanted to share what works for me.

I am the same, I have been given anti depressants before. But I decided not to take them, I didn't feel it was that bad. I can keep it at bay with regular exercise. I know some people in RL think I am an exercise bore as I really don't like to miss. But it keeps me feeling good, so hate missing if it can be helped.

Is it weigh in today? I am weighing in this morning too (at 9am) I will come back and hold your virtual hand if you need it. Smile

calzone · 11/04/2016 07:38

Food plan for today.....

B....fruit and yoghurt
L....Linda sausages, eggs, beans, mushrooms

EmilyK83 · 11/04/2016 07:50

Good luck with weigh in today Katenka!

I've woken up this morning with my throat feeling awful - horrible hacking chesty cough and lots of pain! Will be drinking lots of water and lots of hot water with lemon today, I think!

Food will hopefully look something like this:

B - yoghurt and frozen berries

L - ham, cucumber, celery, radishes, boiled egg

D - smoked haddock with lemon & dill lentils and spinach

No idea about healthy extras or syns yet. Don't even really want to be thinking about food at the moment - which isn't ideal when writing about food is my job...
