Just done pancakes for breakfast with fruit - used one egg and a big dollop of Total 0% and got three 'scotch pancakes'. Could probably have done with a spot of sweetener but was lovely.

EmilyK83 · 09/04/2016 10:18

Yeahhhh...well done Agent!!

Youre - I'll have to try those, sound interesting!

CoffeeandChocolateplease · 09/04/2016 10:19

Morning! I'm another new starter, began the online plan on Monday and have been enjoying it so far! I have previously lost weight doing WW and MFP but have found the counting to be a pain, so I have enjoyed this new approach.

scribblegirl I agree, on WW I always used to save up my points for treats, whereas now I can't do that, and have to choose more wisely for snacks if I need something, as I know that no matter what, I don't want to go over the 15 syns.

I also love the fitness challenges on the website, it has inspired me to get out running three times a week again - I am currently doing the London Marathon challenge and like seeing my little person move round the track.

Anyway, I am looking forward to weigh in on Monday. Thanks for all the tips and advice on here, it's been very helpful.

Charley12345 · 09/04/2016 10:24

So I've not been focused and put weight back on!!! Weigh in Monday so will see how much as my last weigh in was 12'13. I ideally would like to lose 2-3 stone.

My birthday is Tuesday 12th of April, and as of this point I will be on a journey! I have a new job at the beginning of May so I have a whole new journey ahead!!!

EmilyK83 · 09/04/2016 10:46

Good luck both!

Meal plan now done for the day - as follows...

B - fat free yoghurt and strawberries

L - scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, lemon juice, asparagus

D - Spanish meatball and butter bean stew from the BBC Good Food website. Will have some spinach on the side too

HexA will be a skinny latte, HexB will be dried apricots as an evening snack. Syns on Mikados and maybe a cheeky hot chocolate. Finished yesterday on 7 syns in the end...

ChessieFL · 09/04/2016 12:35

WI this morning and lost 4lb. Which sounds great (and it is!) but I put 3.5 lb I last week so have lost that.

Now 2.5 lb to target!!

AgentDunham · 09/04/2016 12:53

Nice work Chessie!

I've just made savoury rice for lunch. Rice, garden peas, asparagus and mushrooms - with soy sauce and a touch of sesame oil (2 syns.)

Ooh is there a fitness challenge on the website? I didnt know that, but all I ever do is look for syns. I must have a look. I love exercise. Just wish that I could lose weight that way, but I realise that losing weight is mainly the food I eat (or dont eat as the case may be) Will have a look in a minute.

Im dreading WI on Monday. After maintaining last week Im really really hoping for a loss, but Im not convinced. 2 days Ive been really naughty for my evening meals, but I have been really good throughout the day and have made the decision that there will be no alcohol consumed tonight like we usually do on a Saturday. The other days I have kept to 10-13 syns. I still think at best I will have maintained.

Well done on the losses.

HelenF35 · 09/04/2016 14:39

Today I've had a wholemeal roll (he) with bacon (back with fat off) and egg roll with cheese (half he) and mustard. 1/2 syn

Dinner will be steak chilli with rice.Free and the other half of my cheese he Grin

Roll was brunch as had a well deserved lie in this morning.

EmilyK83 · 09/04/2016 14:42

Helen - make sure you have your 1/3 speed at every meal too!

Well done on the loss Chessie - you'll smash that target in no time!

HelenF35 · 09/04/2016 15:39

The chilli has lots of carrots, peppers, tomatoes and onion in it. I've also had a clementine and a kiwi. Grin

emwithme · 09/04/2016 16:12

Well done losers!

Done a giant supermarket shop today - the (two) fridges are full and I'm nearly at the point where DH is convinced we need a giant American-style fridge so I can fit all the fruit and veg in! I have taken over the beer fridge already!

Today's food:

Brunch: Bacon, fried eggs (I have worked out how to do them in frylight and I am in heaven!), mushrooms, baked beans, plum tomatoes. COFFEEEEEEEE...
Snack: Mugshot (1 syn) satsumas, apple.
Dinner: Gehaktballen, mash, cabbage. They were so much of a hit last week, DH has asked for them again!
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Am doing a green day on Monday so I can have mac&cheese AND milk in my coffee - just wondering what to have for lunch, I'm thinking hard boiled egg and cottage cheese with salad.

CoffeeandChocolateplease · 09/04/2016 16:31

DrHarleen it's the Body Magic challenge, you can choose different challenges, and then add your workouts together until you reach the total. Once I've done the London Marathon, I'm going to run round Central Park! Grin

Buttwing · 09/04/2016 17:16

Gah I know why I don't go out very often, I've a stinking hangover after a very good night out!

Em I'm loving the fact you have a beer fridgeGrin

I was reasonably good with the food last night sushi and skewered chicken starter ( we had lots and all shared) I dodged the deep fried stuff. Main course was seabass.
But I had 2 vodka cocktails, a champagne cocktail, shared a bottle of wine and maybe four vodka and diet cokes it all gets very blurry after that!!Blush

My liver is now in rehab!!

calzone · 09/04/2016 17:43

B.....coffee
L.....leftover chickpea Dahl loaf, roasted peppers and cucumber
D....Waitrose chicken with leeks and Wensleydale (4) masses speed veg, sweet jacket potato

OP posts:
KittyOShea · 09/04/2016 17:48

B- porridge, yoghurt, cinnamon, raspberries, grapefruit
L- fruit and yoghurt, 1 ryvita with a scraping of butter (2 syns) hi fi (3 syns)
D- roast ham with spuds, turnip, leeks, carrots, peas

Syns- sugar 1, lunch 5, another hi fi later with a cuppa 3

scribblegirl · 09/04/2016 18:32

Brunch: Smoked salmon, scrambled egg (1/2 hex A for milk) slice of luscious bread (very dubious Hex B) with a scraping of butter (rest hex A)

Oh, and a glass of prosecco Wink (it is my mum's birthday!)

Then we went to see Beautiful, the Carole King musical - she loved it!

Now back home and tonight's indulgence is a Chinese Blush but I will be syning it and am thinking of a boiled rice and chicken with mushrooms - so not too bad just need to avoid prawn crackers

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 09/04/2016 18:37

So, I have had a good day - and now DH has brought me one of MIL's homemade Cornish pasties. It is huge. If I just eat the veggies inside (no meat in mine) and try not to eat the pastry it will be free, right?Confused

maygirl · 09/04/2016 19:10

Well done on today's losses! I'll have to check out the fitness challenges , today been to spinning, hiit and dance class! Didn't have my snack with me for between classes and stupidly had half a bottle of energy drink I'd been given at the half marathon last week, 7 syns of sugar Sad but needed a pick me up.
B porridge, heB, milk heA, banana and maple syrup 0.5 syn
Gym,
L onion omelette, 20g mozzarella 2.5 syn , sweet potato sw chips, salad, lf mayo 0.5syn
Dance class, Apple
D first try of pastitsio, was lovely. With salad. Used Calzone's Cauliflower sauce with egg and quark for the topping . 10.5 syns total

AgentDunham · 09/04/2016 19:18

Maygirl - v impressed with your fitness efforts Smile

I am having my one night post-WI (and CHILD FREE) evening of indulgence. Best part of bottle of fizz (30-ish syns) and (classy) packet of Pom-Bears. Will go light on syns next few days, plus up the activity. Did this in week one too and across the 7 days was under overall syn allowance. I don't mind going slow on weight loss if it means it's sustainable x Wine

DrHarleenFrancesQuinzel · 09/04/2016 19:42

I found the fitness challenges. I'm currently running Hadriens Wall I think. As I did Parkrun this morning I'm 3.1 miles into it. I wanted something that would take me a while and as I ran 14 miles in total last week I went for a big challenge.

calzone · 09/04/2016 19:55

Oooh just had A big bowl of quark with raspberries and an Options white chocolate sachet......was yummy and only 2.5 Syns.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 09/04/2016 20:11

Oh FFS - the pastry tasted of soap/fabric softener. Her pastry is normally lovely. Ah well - better for the Syns...

EmilyK83 · 09/04/2016 20:26

It might be because you're not used to pastry anymore, Youre! I had that a few weeks back - got a takeaway pizza and swear I could feel my arteries clogging up as I ate - just didn't enjoy it!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 09/04/2016 20:43

I have been not entirely on plan today, but much much better than I would usually have been. I'm about 5 syns over allowance, but haven't eaten any chocolate which I might have treated myself to as its the weekend. 90 mins in the gym this evening too, so hooray :)
