Not sure where my gloomy patch came from this morning - maybe low blood sugar as I feel much better now Grin

B - cottage cheese
L - butter bean hummus, chopped salad
D - dunno yet ...

The hummus tastes nothing like hummus but it was nice enough and meant no mayo / salad cream syns as I made it a bit runny and sort of drizzled it over the salad.

Quick q - is the "dried" Parmesan you get in pots the same as fresh Parmesan? 28g is blooming loads!

New slate. I had a convo with my consultant last night trying to work out where my motivation has gone. It's possible I'm using slimming as a project that means I don't have to give brain space for everything else that's wrong with my life. As I get closer to target it means I have to think about other things.

Or that may be mumbo jumbo. Anyway.

B - oat crisp and milk (HExA and HExB), coffee
L - baked salmon with lemon and garlic, new potatoes with butter (2) and mint, asparagus, carrots, broccoli. Slice of cake (12.5)
D - probably left over SW spag bol (with secret courgette..) and salad

Maxed out my syns now so have to be careful tonight.

My dentist said I might need root canal so that will help Sad

Dried parmesan is 1.5 syns per level tablespoon. Not sure if you can "healthy extra" it but if you could that would be 4 level tbsp.

Today turned into an SP day, mainly so I could have 4 chocolatey hifi bars.

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins, cherry tomatoes
Lunch: Giant ham salad, apple, pear, satsumas.
Dinner: Salmon fillets, roasted onion, courgette, peppers.

HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Those photos really are good. Loads of difference. I wish I had taken one of me now, but unfortunately I didn't now Im not convinced much has changed.

Had a much better day today. I didnt really get hungry till after 10 so ate my couscous (its 1 syn for the full pack and I take half a day) and banana then. This kept me going until half 12, but as my lunch is at 1 I managed to hold off. So a proper morning rather than just grazing all morning like usual. I did graze this afternoon though Blush

Unfortunately until I get some money on Friday Im a little skint to be buying more food so not going to get any oats just yet. I could always syn my Hi-fi bars. Have one a day, thats only 3 syns. For a little afternoon treat to get me through the day should be OK. So I will try these oats next week. I will have larger breakfasts on the weekend. Most likely omlette and beans.

Today I have had

B: Couscous (0.5) and banana
L: Salad (0.5 syns for the extra light mayo) and Key Lime Pie muller light (1 syn)
Afternoon snacks: Apple, hi-fi bar and quavers (4.5 syns)
D: Chicken, chips (1 syn) and beans

I will be having a hot chocolate later so thats another 5 syns taking my total up to 12.5 syns,

Well...today started well with weigh in and a scan bran-based lunch...but then we went out for dinner. And while I stuck to Diet Coke, I don't think deep fried beer battered black pudding followed by a massive burger with chips and slaw is really on plan, haha. Still, it's been a while since I've had a weigh day treat night, I'm going to treat it as such and draw the line! Plus I'm reviewing the restaurant for my website, so it counts as work, right? :)

Aiming for no more than 7 syns a day for the rest of the week to atone for my syns/sins, and back on the exercise plan tomorrow too!

Just seen a recipe on another site.

Blend Cottage Cheese, quark and HEA Parmasan. Would blending cottage cheese get rid of the texture? I like the taste, but its got the worst texture. I love cheese and would love to find something cheesy that's free. 30g of cheddar is hardly anything.

Eaten dinner out 2 nights in a row so not expecting a loss tomorrow again unfortunately
Today,
B none, not hungry after late dinner out Monday
L heB wholemeal thin grilled with leftover pizza sauce, spinach and HeA cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, small amount mango and pineapple before DCs got to it!
D calamari about 20 syns, followed by salmon and new potato salad. No booze and gave the pudding that came with the meal deal to my friend.
Still feel overfull and bloated though. Need to eat very lightly for rest of the week, I've really stalled again .

Weigh in - I fucking GAINED 2.5LBS!!!!! Meaning I've only lost 6.5lbs so far :( they should take my half stone award off me now haha. Aaaagh.
I felt slimmer and thought I'd had a good week :( started at the gym this week too.
Needless to say my 34lbs in 34 weeks aim is not going well.

B boiled egg on toast (heb)
L- not sure yet
D- chicken and chorizo jambalaya. I think the only Syns will be the chorizo

Weighed in last night and lost 1.5lbs making 5.5 lbs so far.

DS lost 0.5lbs although for him it is about maintaining roughly where he is. Am pleased with this as he struggles with his food. He has autism and will gorge if left to his own devices. We went out in the week and he wanted Nachos as a starter. I talked to him about healthier choices but he really wanted nachos so as a family we ordered a single portion and shared them.

Getting into the swing of it all now.

I put in half a pound!! Not gone over my syns at all - have only had a couple of bad days in total since I started. Bit devastated to be honest. I was a bit fed up when she said half a pound - then it dawned on me that she said ON. Don't know what to do now.

weigh is not until tomorrow but i'm up 1.5 pounds today. Its the kick I needed. I am restarting today , today is my new day 1 and I will stay on track. It's amazing how a bit of complacency can really scupper you.

Bendydick and flossy could it be TOTM? I can gain a couple of pounds in a week when I'm on (it comes off the following week) even if I've been perfectly good. Someone in my group gains 4lbs every 4th week (and loses 5lbs the following week). I came on yesterday so am expecting a gain tomorrow.

Am up earlier than normal for work because we've got a man coming to do the fix to the tumble drier. DH is off work for a few days so he's going to do the waiting after I've gone to work, but they couldn't give us a smaller window than 8 - 1 so rather than make him get up on his first morning off, I've got up early, moved the cats' stuff from the utility room to the living room (where they will be penned up because they don't like People Who Aren't Us), and am now hoping that he doesn't turn up until after I've gone because I can't be arsed with making polite small talk!

Consultant messaged me last night and asked if I wanted to learn how to do the pay desk at group, I've been doing the shop for a couple of weeks so it'll be nice to learn something different (although I did both pay and weigh before when I was at group - both times in fact - but one was when it was paper-based and the other when cards were just coming in, so things may have changed)

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins, cherry tomatoes
Lunch: Tuna pasta salad, apple, pear, satsumas
Dinner: Cottage pie, carrots, broccoli (or maybe cabbage, depends what I fancy picking up at the supermarket on my way home)
HEA: Milk

That is crap, but if you've just begun to exercise then you might be holding on to a little more water? Don't give up, next week will be amazing if you keep going! I'm still convinced things take two weeks to show!

I don't like pay em, the number of people who claim they have no idea about back fees then get arsey is astonishing - or maybe that's just our group!

B - muller light Greek style (0.5) coffee (HExA), grapes (while considering an SP day lol), apple
L - lunch out at NT place so will try to limit the damage
D - depends what I had for lunch but maybe speed soup and bread if I haven't had my HExB

Back on it today after a totally off plan meal out last night, looking something like this...

B - fruit

L - chicken salad

D - pastitsio with salad

HexA will be the cheese in the pastitsio, for my HexB I'm going to mix it up a bit today and go with 35 pistachios. Trying to do a different HexB every day this week - so far done bread and scan bran...

Keeping syns lowish today - going to go for 24g of mcvities nibbles for 6.5 syns...

Morning! Here's today's plan...

Breakfast: 2 apples (we get free fruit at work so I'm trying to use it as a breakfasting tool!)
Lunch: Pasta salad (penne, tinned toms, herbs, 40g mozzarella - Hex A and mixed salad leaves)
Dinner: Speedy prawn soup (dried noodles, pak choi, prawns, chicken stock, soy sauce, tablespoon plum sauce (2 syns) and tablespoon oyster sauce (can't work out if free or 1 syn - so counting 1 just in case).

Still struggling to work out how to get my Hex B. I try to have a policy of no bread in the house because it is my absolute worst enemy and if there's a loaf I'll inevitably crack and do round upon round of toast! But I don't like ryvita and don't want to use up my Hex A on milk because I'm a cheese fiend... tricky!

Also - first weigh in today. Have a vague hope that 2 days of SW will make it easier to stomach (pun intended Grin) when I hear how heavy I am at the moment...
