Ladies...does this look OK for a SP lunch? That's cottage cheese at the bottom, and the bread (3 slices of Kingsmill No Crusts Wholemeal) is my first HexB of the day... Experimenting with SP days (this is my 2nd this week) as I feel like I'm eating too much potato/pasta/rice!

justamo good idea re. the shred! I love the shred. It's great cos you can push yourself as hard or not as you want and you will see results quickly too.

Good that you can stop at one biscuit! I can't have them in the house as I will just eat them. I was looking at my packet of Jaffas thinking I didn't want them but I ate them anyway Confused

maygirl · 02/04/2016 14:43

Buggyfit is great as they are trained to know about postnatal concerns like yours Bendy .Great that your gym offers it!

calzone · 02/04/2016 16:39

I've got some yogurt in the freezer at the moment to make a banana split with later will post pic when the kids are in bed.

Rupeomatic · 02/04/2016 17:00

Hi all. Rejoined SW online today and thought rather than lurking on this thread I would actually post occasionally Grin

Having been um-ing and ah-ing about rejoining, but really want to get rid of Christmas weight which has been joined by Easter weight.

maygirl · 02/04/2016 19:33

B baked oats with raspberries and honey 2 syns +heB. HeA milk in drinks
L leftover sea bass and bowl soup

Big dinner before big run tomorrow,
poached chicken, carrots, sprouts, green beans, mashed sweet potatoes
dessert later of baked Apple and mincemeat 6 syns with brandy sauce 6 syns.
Tomorrow will have baked oats for breakfast again, gives good slow release energy I find, but will have some jelly babies and energy drink during the race. Will miss lunchtime as slow runner! Making homemade pizza for early dinner with wholemeal base so like extra heBs, my HeA of cheese and roast veg plus homemade coleslaw. Really want pizza after the run, I was telling myself would deserve a takeaway one but after seeing Facebook posts about heB pizzas yesterday have decided to make our own for less of a hit of syns!

maygirl · 02/04/2016 19:35

Hi Rupeo Smile

justamo · 02/04/2016 19:39

Good luck tomorrow maygirl. Dh is doing a half tomorrow too, so carb loading with pasta bake for dinner. Wonder if it's the same one?

AvaLeStrange · 02/04/2016 19:57

Good luck maygirl you mad loon! and hello Rupeo.

Well, have gone slightly off piste today.

Started with BLT, fruit salad and coffee

Lunch was Marmite on toast and an Apple so was planning fish and veg for dinner, but by the time I'd finished DIY and realised there wasn't much in for DD ended up getting Chinese. Having said that, we shared a portion of boiled rice and I had beef with ginger & spring onions and only pinched one of DDs sweet n sour chicken balls!

So I guess that's my syns for the day which is a bummer as I'd have been looking forward to gin & tonic and Maltesers tonight Sad.

Buttwing · 02/04/2016 20:08

Had a really good dinner tonight

Beef and bean chilli
Rice
Sweet potato fries
Padron peppers
Salad

And for dessert

Banana split 3.5 syns but so worth it!Grin

Welcome rupe and good luck for tomorrow maygirl

Today's food:

Breakfast: Bacon, eggs (I have cracked doing fried eggs in frylight!), beans, tomato. Tassimo cappuccino (2 syns x 2)
Snack: Apple, satsumas, cheese (HEA)
Dinner: Gehaktballen (Dutch meatballs from current magazine) with mash and garlic courgettes. Was delicious, but seemed to make SO MUCH washing up...the dishwasher is full and there's still stuff to do!
Snack: Hifi bars (HEB). Might have some Hula hoop Pufts (2.5 syns) too.

Alfieisnoisy · 02/04/2016 20:30

Discovered Quark today...it made a great cheese sauce for pasta mixed with some Parmesan (HEA).

calzone · 02/04/2016 20:46

I love Quark.

OP posts:
EmilyK83 · 02/04/2016 22:51

Hi Rupe!

Quark is epic. Used it with our carrot and swede mash that topped our cottage pie tonight to make it a little creamy - I know this is a massive portion but I'm doing a SP day and I'm famished!

katenka · 03/04/2016 06:56

I am lactose intolerant so don't have dairy. I can have a little bit and be fine. It's when I have a bit everyday.

I have been gagging for creamy pasta, might have to try quark and use lactofree cheese to keep other lactose to a minimum.

Bungleboggs · 03/04/2016 07:56

Could I join, I'm 5"5 and 11 stone so not bad but want to be 10 by June! Could one of you kind ladies tell me how many syns I should have ?10 or 15 thanks

Katenka · 03/04/2016 08:00

bungle welcome.

Your consultant should be able to tell you. Women usually get 15. If you have a lot of weight to lose, you get more.

I know some people have had to reduce when they get near target. But that's not official SW advice.

Maybe start at 15 and see how it goes? Reduce if you need to. If you can have 15 and lose weight I would stick with 15. It really does help you not feel deprived.

Mummyme87 · 03/04/2016 08:10

So I was off plan for majority of 2-3weeks, had 3 days back on plan and lost 3lb 🤔 I can't seem to get back on it. I struggle with lunches when at home mainly

Hay135 · 03/04/2016 08:16

I've had a bad few days well I had a bad day Thursday knew Saturday would be bad so just thought sod it on Fridays. I don't feel guilty though because a) I know I will put on weight but I knew that when I made the choice and decide it was worth it to have a few days not worrying about food. B) I felt so crap and tired eating rubbish I had forgotten just how bad eating rubbish makes you feel. C) I'm motivated to get back on plan today.
I will face the scales and be happy if I have put on less than 7lbs (yes I really have eaten and drank that much Blush)
Just going to do my meal plan for the week so then I have no excuses!!

Bungleboggs · 03/04/2016 08:26

Thank you, well today is the day I start! My main thing is nibbling my dts food after they have finished! They are very small and on high calorie food.

EmilyK83 · 03/04/2016 08:48

Good luck Bungle!

Hay - definitely the right way of thinking! Know what you mean about feeling like crap too...we got a takeaway pizza (plus chicken strips, plus garlic bread) as a treat a few weeks ago, and my body hated me for it the next morning... Hopefully weigh in isn't as bad as you think!

calzone · 03/04/2016 09:13

Bungle......take a squeegee bottle of diluted washing up liquid and squeeze it over their food when they have finished.

No temptation to nibble then!

AvaLeStrange · 03/04/2016 09:14

Hi Bungle

Well, having been quite pleased with myself I fell off the wagon last night to the tune of 2 G&Ts, a couple of handfuls of Maltesers and a bag of Pops - bugger!

Back on the case this morning, and will just have to hope it doesn't show up on the scales Tuesday.

EmilyK83 · 03/04/2016 09:29

Ava, that's probably not as bad a day as you think it is...maybe just reduce syns today and hopefully you'll be fine!

Waiting for dp to get out of bed - he promised he'd do my exercise DVD with me this morning, but he's still snoring away...

I've done 2 SP days this week so far, but back to EE for today. Meals will look like this...

B - smoked salmon, scrambled egg, asparagus

L - cottage cheese, carrot sticks, celery, radishes, ham, seafood sticks

Skinny latte in town when we go clothes shopping

D - roast beef with SW roasties, Bisto cauliflower cheese (1.5 syns for the whole pack, so will count 1 for half), carrots, and cabbage.

Cereal bars as my HexB, and 4 syns of chocolate froyo for remaining syns...
