I have text her and she text back that 3 people have said the same today, plus the social team complained. She said he moved from her evening group when people complained there too.

Obviously it's in her interest for people to come and if he is putting them off its not ok, so I believe her when she says she is calling him to speak to him.

Hopefully she will have a word and he will strop off somewhere else.

Just had a lovely surprise at class , not had a great week so didn't really look at scales until she said well done ! Lost 2.5lb and got my 1.5 stone award ! Yeay ! Sometimes it is the little things ! Only joined beginning of Jan so very pleased ! X

Congrats Linda and all the other losers.

Still trying to claw back my American excesses of last week so today was:

B- porridge, yoghurt, cinnamon and raspberries
L- pea, ham and courgette soup, fruit and yoghurt
D- chicken curry with rice and tons of veg

Syns- sugar (1) ryvita (1.5) and hi fi (3)

Kat that sounds really annoying. There are two women that do not shut up in our group, people have moved groups because of them. It's really frustrating.

Breakfast - Apple

Lunch - 4 heck paprika sausages (0.5 Syns), asparagus and baby sweet pen

Dinner - chicken with butternut squash, red pepper and cheese (HEA)

Snacks fruit and a hifi bar

Will have some wholemeal toast and butter later. If I can be bothered making it Grin

Flowers well done Linda that's brilliant. I hope some of your magic rubs off on me!

Weigh in tomorrow evening, really hoping for more than 1lb off this week but very nervous as I know how little it usually takes to send me off kilter.

I have a severely underactive thyroid, which I'm on medication for, but part of my decision to join SW is the fact that I think it needs more investigation. If SW does the trick then I'm probably deluding myself and I'll lose the weight, which is great. If it doesn't work too well I have the evidence I need to get a referral to an endocrinologist.

Tomorrows menu:

B: Porridge with berries & sweetener

L: Chilli con carne & cauli rice

D: Tuna nicoise salad

Fruit & Muller lights for snacks and will probably have a couple of Jaffa cakes mid afternoon.

Weigh in at 7.30pm.

Thanks for the kind words ! Going away for a couple of days tomorrow , work . no idea what food choice is but staying at a Ramada hotel so breakfast and dinner should be OK ! Hopefully not too many temptations ! X

We've had family visiting this weekend and I well and truly fell off the wagon. I'm paying for it now though, I've had TMI alert tummy ache and the skitters all day. Serves me right. All that butter, white bread and cream was bound to upset me after 6 weeks of not eating it.

Was away last week and although I tried to stick to the plan there was a lot of eating out so I think things have taken a downward turn, however am back on track from today and catching up with this thread has been really encouraging

Gah. Was on 6 syns today until dh ordered a bloody takeaway and ended up with a spare portion of chips. He poured ketchup on the first lot but kept offering me the second so I measured 100g (the SW app says 6.5 for 100g chip shop chips) so ended on 12.5. I know ok still under but I don't know why I ate them, didn't enjoy them and feel a bit sick now.

My consultant has no qualms about telling people to shut up if they're chatting, thankfully!

Had my first weigh in today - 1.5lb off. Bit disappointed with that. Expected more in my first week, considering my diet before hand comprised of pizza and Ben and Jerry's, and I've been so good, making sure I have speed food with all meals where I can, not going mad on syns.

However, I did realise I've been having too much porridge each day. Seems my kitchen scales are rubbish. We were shown how much 35g of porridge looks like, and it was more than I was using. So I bought an electronic set of scales on my way home. Appears I was having around 50g instead! Am hoping I get better results next week now.

Luna in my group today the consultant spoke to a lady who near gave up after her 1st week because she only lost 1/2lb tonight she was at target over 4stone lighter so don't give up.

I maintained tonight which may have been deserves but I thought I would get a small loss. Never mind back in it this week and I will lose something this week!!. Think I need to change it up a bit so going to try and alternate breakfasts, reduce my Syns to around 5 a day and eat as much speed food as I can fit in.

Menu for today
B- Porridge HEB, milk HEA with raspberries an strawberries
L- 5% mince with broccoli, mushrooms and peppers.
T- I'm out for a meal looking at streak and salard (no dressing)
Snacks - muller light, melon, grapes, orange, cherries and apple.

Anyone got any ideas how many Syns for steak cooked in oil???

Breakfast this morning is omelette with 2 (400g) wholewheat bits of toast.

Then will be on a long hour/2 hour walk with my little overweight pug and my little girl (3).

Will be having chicken and vegetables for lunch at 12:30. And then will have to test my resistance as baking cakes!😱 Hopefully we can then relax with a good old bit of Frozen!

Dinner at 6pm of fish and vegetables. Then we will have a fantastic gym session around 8! Excited 🤗
