kim get back on plan and drink plenty of water. That happens to me too. Comes off really quickly though.

SnookyWookyWooWoo · 07/03/2016 13:35

Shock oh dear...I've just tucked into two of the Bernard Matthews ones! I did cook with breadcrumbs/skin on and then removed after. Oh well that's my syns gone for the day Sad

emwithme · 07/03/2016 13:50

Snooky the Bernard Matthews turkey drummers are 3 1/2 syns each. Not sure how much of that is for the breadcrumbs and how much for the processed turkey.

On a similar point - everyone knows that Chicken Roll isn't free, don't they (with the exception of the one from Spar). It works out about 1 syn per piece.

Today I have handed all the keys to our old flat back, having finished the cleaning (behind the cooker gak etc).

Today's food:

Brunch: Bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, baked beans. 2 x tassimo cappuccino (2 syns each)
Pre-college snack: Mug shot (1 syn), apple, plums, orange.
Dinner: Cajun chicken breast (1 syn), rice, salad.
HEA: Milk in coffee (to get me through college)
HEB: Hifi bars.

Am due on any moment now (have that awful heavy-womb feeling) so am not expecting a loss this week but shall keep on keeping on. No Fuck It February worked really well for me, I am carrying on with it into Must-Keep-On-Plan March.

SnookyWookyWooWoo · 07/03/2016 13:55

Em I must have it wrong I thought with the skin thy were 5 and a half. That's not too bad I suppose. Thought mug shots were free too? Been a while since Ive done sw so I'm a bit rusty! Grin

emwithme · 07/03/2016 14:18

Some flavours of mug shot are free. I really like the chicken pasta one and that's 1 syn so I just suck it up (because I'd rather have a flavour I like for 1 syn than a flavour I don't for free!)

Kim82 · 07/03/2016 14:18

I am fully back on plan today doing a sp day.

B - none as I had an interview

L - scrambled egg, cress and tomato on 2 ryvita (HeB), Greek muller light (0.5 syns)

D - fish and veg

Sn - alpen light bar (2nd HeB), apples, oranges, strawberries

HeA - milk in cups of tea.

I will also drink gallons of water.

I know I shouldn't but I know I will weigh myself daily now until this gain starts to come off again! I have never had such a big gain in my life although I only have myself to blame - 3 takeaways, a McDonalds, cake, crisps, chocolate, full fat coke, 2 three course meals, 2 full English breakfasts in a hotel and my own body weight in wine. It's not that surprising actually is it when it's all written down! 😂

It means I'll have to stick fully to the plan this week - even on Thursday when it's my birthday. Boohoo.

SnookyWookyWooWoo · 07/03/2016 14:37

Ah Kim happy birthday...was mine last week and it was so hard sticking to plan (I failed miserably) but only had one slice of bday cake in the end Grin!
Em I'm shocked I thought the chicken pasta ones were free. No wonder I'm not getting great losses! I'm sticking to low fat super noodles now with chicken stock, so tasty!

cowboylover · 07/03/2016 18:47

Sorry for your loss Katie

And congratulations Mummy!

Was totally off plan all weekend but still counted my Syns and got to 137 in 3 days. So trying to get back to it today.

Been having a tough time at home with my DH but seemed to have turned a corner with it and he's booked a few days away to Portugal in June so I have 100 days to get ready for some summer clothes and beach wear! Time to focus

KittyOShea · 07/03/2016 18:51

Have just had a text from my group leader to say I'm a finalist for greatest loser GrinBlush

KatieT12 · 07/03/2016 18:58

Wow, well done Kitty! How much have you lost? xx

KittyOShea · 07/03/2016 19:00

I've lost 3 stone and 4 pounds so not a huge amount but I'm very happy with it. There's a guy whose lost 5 so he'll undoubtedly win but even the nomination might be enough to get me out of this 3lbs on/ 1/2 pound on nonsense I've been at for weeks!

Hope you're keeping okay Katie Flowers

SnookyWookyWooWoo · 07/03/2016 19:08

Kitty that's fab! Well done! What a great motivation. Em thanks that's really helpful. I'll be picking some up this week

Just tried a gorgeous recipe for Asian style chicken in a lovely sauce but canthe post the link here Angry was too good not to share!

SnookyWookyWooWoo · 07/03/2016 19:16

Hoping this works Grin was so lovely. Had to tweak it so used fry light instead of oil, and sweetener instead of sugar but couldn't think of a way round using flour. No idea how to work out the syns value of the flour though Confused

EmilyK83 · 07/03/2016 19:26

Amazing loss Katenka - and well done Kitty!!

I'm currently cooking a roast and I can't wait! Well...a lazy roast! Iceland lamb slices in mint gravy (free), Bisto cauliflower cheese (1.5 for the whole pack), roasties, leeks, cabbage and SW stuffing - basically extra lean pork mince, an egg, parsley, sage and lemon zest with a bit of salt and pepper, rolled into balls and cooked.

Today I also bought a tub of Asda chocolate frozen yoghurt (4 Syns for 100ml - it's a standard 500ml tub) which I've heard good things about...really missing my ice cream so will report back when I've tried it!

Welshloser · 07/03/2016 21:04

Hi all

Just back from WI, 3.5lbs off this week........phew ☺ was really worried I would have gained after the pizza I had this week. Thats 12lbs in 2 weeks ....aiming for 2 this week for my stone award! X

Knitwitty · 07/03/2016 21:14

Day four on the plan here, and I seem to have totally lost my appetite... is this normal?? My only syns today were creamer in my coffee, and I never even had my bready healthy extra... which is verrrrry strange if you know me! Not disappointed, certainly! - but a bit puzzled... Hmm

maygirl · 07/03/2016 21:24

Flowers so very sorry Katie .

I've been away for a few days and not really on plan .Always find it hard to get back on it 100% after, seems to take a day or two! My weight loss suddenly showed this weekend and lots of people suddenly noticed which was nice! Need not to sabotage myself now !
What are people taking for this weeks Biggest Loser tasters?

lunatrick · 07/03/2016 21:25

I had my first bad day yesterday. I had good intentions of staying on plan but they went to pot when I got to my mum's. Her partner twisted my arm into having a white wine spritzer, then another. He then laid out nibbles, so I had a few spicy crispy things and some small cube of cheese. He then brought out baklava. I wasn't going to have any (honest!), but my daughter tried a bit and didn't like it, so I felt it a shame to let it go to waste.
I was then taken to Toby Carvery. Had a yorkshire pudding, pork, some stuffing, mash potato, roast potatoes, as well as loads of veg and gravy. Oh, and a glass of red wine (small one).
Later in the evening I resisted temptation to have ice cream and had fat free greek natural yogurt, with mango and pineapple.

It's also that time of month, so I was dreading weigh in this evening. I lost 2.5lb! That's 6lb in 3 weeks. I'm happy with that. We have a guy out my group who loses loads each week, and this week he lost 10.5lb! Amazing. Someone brought in butternut squash, carrot, sweet potato and ginger soup for taster - I loved it, so am going to attempt it some time this week, if I can get a hand blender.

Had a stir fry tonight, but with fresh noodles (not keen on the dried ones and I'd prefer to take the hit on the syns for it).

I noticed the walk to group was easier today too - didn't feel stiff or achey, or out of breath. It's a good feeling and I'm determined to keep it up.

Hay135 · 07/03/2016 22:39

I'm happy with my 1lb off this week especially as I have stuck to it very much for half of the week
But the beginning of the week was sp so I think that helped.
Planning a full sp week this week as I'm 7lb to target and I think
I need to bit of a boost.

Loveagoodbargain · 07/03/2016 23:37

Please could someone advise? I have been trying to be careful about what I eat and eat the same for the 5 days I work:
B: 2 shredded wheat and handful of bran flakes with semi skimmed milk
L: jacket potato and one tin beans
D: chicken and veg or spag bol etc.
SYN: chocolate biscuit
Drinks: green tea x 2 cups and 2 litres sugar free orange squash.
At the weekend I eat the same breakfast but sandwich or pasta for lunch or cheese on toast. Poss takeaway for tea.
I run one mile per day on treadmill and do 20 mins weights for arms and 30 sit ups.
I have lost zero weight in 12 months but have just been diagnosed with underactive thyroid and wonder if that has anything to do with no weight loss? Any ideas?

honeyiwashedmyhair · 08/03/2016 03:22

I'd love to join Smile

I joined SW on the 15th of February; so far I have lost 8.5 lbs! (I'm happy with that) Grin

I hope to become a regular, and look forward to reading everyone's updates! x

KittyOShea · 08/03/2016 07:08

Welcome honey

Loveagoodbargain are you following SW? If so (and even if not but trying to lose weight) you need to add lots more fruit/ veggies to your diet to fill you up.

Kim82 · 08/03/2016 07:34

Morning all, well done on all the losses.

I weighed this morning and I've lost 3 of the 7lb I gained last week in just one day so it obviously wasn't a true gain thankfully. I've got six days to lose the other 4lb but I imagine they will be harder to lose as the first 3lb was probably mainly water. I'm still determined to stick to sp all week so today's menu is:

B - alpen light bar and fruit

L - ham, red pepper, mushroom, tomato and spinach omelette and a Greek muller light (0.5 syns)

D - bolognese (without the pasta) with veg

Sn - ryvita, fruit

Drinks will be tea and gallons of water again

Katenka · 08/03/2016 07:38

Morning kim well done for getting back on it!

That's great!
