So sorry to hear that Katie. My thoughts are with you and your family Flowers

KatieT12 · 05/03/2016 23:15

Thank you Kitty I'm staying on plan though x

Sounbelievablydull · 05/03/2016 23:37

Butt and Katie thinking of you both
Puts other things into perspective really- just be kind to yourselves xxxx

BirdingWidow · 06/03/2016 00:09

So sorry to hear that Butt and Katie.

Definitely be kind to yourselves. I had a similar family crisis last year and stuck to plan (against the odds) because at that time it helped me to stay in control and do something kind to myself by eating well. However, with another big issue this year it felt like one thing too many to worry about and I stalled for a bit. I think you just have to go with the flow and give SW time when you can. Flowers

Katenka · 06/03/2016 06:43

Thanks for you both butt and katie

It wasn't unexpected, but she was doing so well... She came to SW with me for support and I dunno how I'm going to bring myself to go (I obviously will, but Sad)

Also, I wish she made it until today... All her presents are laying on the table.

Mummyme87 · 06/03/2016 20:03

Sorry to hear the sad news.

I have been off plan again Friday/Saturday and today for various reasons. Back on tomorrow.

My OH proposed last night 😀

BasinHaircut · 06/03/2016 20:05

Congrats mummy! I'm assuming you said yes??

emwithme · 06/03/2016 20:13

Katie my mum had the excellent timing to die on Mother's Day. 23 and a half Mother's Days later and I can honestly say it gets easier. She'd been in hospital for 9 months (except for a couple of days where she came out and then went back in, three months before she died) and although we had been on "high alert" for a week (someone with her at all times) and the family were gathered the day before, it was still a shock. I was only 16 at the time, so have been more than half of my life without her. I am very lucky that I have gathered some spare mums along the way, so I frequently get the talking tos I need.

Mummyme87 Congratulations!

Today DH and I have been at our old flat, getting it ready for handing back tomorrow. I cannot believe how dirty it was! He is now sorting keys out how the fuck it takes one man half an hour to gather two sets of front door keys, two sets of communal door keys, one shed key and two garage keys I don't know and I am going to hand them back tomorrow. Then just this place to sort out. We need to get the bookshelves up on the wall so we can unpack the books so I can sort the boxes out and give them to my friend who is moving in April.

Today's food:

Brunch: Bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms.

Snack: Apple, 2 x plums
Dinner: Roast lamb, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings (6 syns), cabbage, carrot, green beans. Proper gravy (7 syns).

HEA: Milk in tea and coffee
HEB: Hifi bars.

I've had a day off plan today and now I feel awful. I feel lethargic, sick and bloated. I'm hoping I can get back on track tomorrow and not mess it all up.

calzone · 06/03/2016 23:30

B....Ham, eggs, beans,
L.....rice with veggie burrito mix
D....bowl Apple, quark, sweetener and 2 tbsp mincemeat (2)
Chicken legs, salad

Congratulations Mummy !!

Weigh in today and the 'greatest loser competition' today. No idea how this competition works.

BasinHaircut · 07/03/2016 06:32

The weekend did not go well. I've basically ballsed up an entire week. Too scared to get on the scales!

Go away on Friday for the weekend and I'm guessing that I haven't made 11st as was my target.

Oh well, got 4 days for damage limitation and then when we get back I am ON IT!

KittyOShea · 07/03/2016 06:38

Congratulations mummy!

Bad weekend too. Had loads of bread and butter and a takeaway. Hoping the 12 hours I spent painting a room yesterday burns up some of the calories!

longlivetheking · 07/03/2016 06:44

I was totally off plan yesterday so dreading tomorrow. Wish my weigh in day was later in the week ConfusedSad

Hay135 · 07/03/2016 06:45

Sorry for your loss katie Flowers

Congrats mummy

I've been off plan for the past 3/4 days. I don't really know where my will power went. It's that time of the month and I just could satisfy my cravings Angry. Need to be back on it today but still feeling unmotivated. I hope the scales give me the kick up the backside I need to get back into it because I still have a stone to loose and I don't want to keep going backwards Blush

BasinHaircut · 07/03/2016 06:53

Seems like we've had a bad week/weekend all round!

Come on guys lets do this!

My problem is that home is chaos right now. But today my carpets go down upstairs (we are renovating) and we are having a 2 month break after that. Hopefully I have a cleaner starting in the next couple of weeks too. Just need to get back into the habit of online grocery shopping and then life should be much easier and I can focus.

EmilyK83 · 07/03/2016 07:55

So sorry to hear that Katie, big hugs

Congrats mummy!!

This weekend I was at my mum's (dp and I introduced our parents to each other for the first time, which thankfully went well! So Sat and Sun looked like this:

Sat:
B - Apple, Muller Light

L - ham, pickles, cucumber, tomatoes, boiled eggs, beetroot, 2 Laughing Cow triangles (3)

D - jacket potato with cheese (HexA), chicken breast with jerk seasoning, salad, couscous salad (2). Then an Alpen Light (HexB)

Sun:
B - Apple, Muller Light

L - meal out - stuffed vine leaves, then a grilled kebab with rice and salad. Am counting 5 Syns for oil.

D - m&s jambalaya meal (5), salad

HexA coffee en route back home, HexB Alpen Lights. Plus a mini milk (1.5), flump (2) and a Lindor chocolate (4). So a bit over on Syns but under on Sat so hoping it balances out...
