I have been staying the same so wanted a push as I am getting close to my target. So gonna try sp. I thought sp was eating only the things with and s or p next to them In the book but you get a extra HEB plus your normal Syns.
My consultant has said if you really need a banana or some grapes have them but it's not strictly how it should be done. I did my first sp day yesterday so hope that will help with the amount of Syns I had sat night. I was shock how easy it was.

I sadly can't do the SP thing this week - dp planned this week's meals while I was away at the weekend, so it's inevitable that all of them contain carbs in some form...

Today's plan:

B - fruit

L - chicken with leftover syn-free slaw from this month's mag (mixed pepper stir fry, fat free natural yoghurt and lime juice)

D - salmon and parsley sauce with mash and asparagus

I think sp is half plate speed food. And sticking to food that is S or P.

I haven't looked into it in too much detail. My consultant said I just naturally do it a lot when she checked my food diaries.

Some days I have sweet potato or noodles so that wouldn't be SP. I think that's it.

I'm just back from weigh in, I've lost 3lb this week which meant I got my Club 10 and 1.5 stone award in just 8 weeks! Yay!

SP is no free foods that aren't an S or a P, no synned foods that include a free but not S or P element (so no synned yoghurts instead of free ones for example because they're lower in syns than they should be).

Your meals should be at least half S foods and you get your syns plus your healthy extras and another b choice on top of that.

It's near the back of your book.

WI today I can now say I'm officially under 10 stone!!!, really pleased that hasn't been the case for at least a couple of years! Thanks for all the tips and ideas on this thread they've really helped

I'm am having 3 SP days this week Calzone! Had one Friday and will now until weighing again on Thursday.

Made the cheesy cauliflower SP soup and I love it! Really tasty and easy to make so will do it again, might be my fav new soup!

B; Porridge with raspberries
L; Cheesy cauliflower soup and rivita for my 2nd HeB
D; Diet Orange chicken with cauliflower rice
Snacks; loads of apples, 3 oranges and more raspberries

Well done everyone who weighed in today. Katenka a stone in four weeks is awesome!

I have my kitchen & my mojo back Grin. Not expecting fantastic news tomorrow but focussing ahead on the following week.

Could probably do with some SP days but not sure how well they'd work for me as I don't always manage 1 HexB, let alone 2 - have long since trained myself not to think about bread too much and rarely have time for cereal in the morning. I did have toast and Marmite at work for breakfast today though, so might do that a bit more often.

Have stuck to my guns so far today, but realised last night that on top of the weekend's issues it's the wrong time of the month so not sure how much difference it will make.

B- 1/2 grapefruit and egg muffins
L- Butternut squash and carrot soup (not that nice) ryvita and scrape of butter (estimating 3 for the butter) fruit and yoghurt
D- sausages (3) spuds and veg

Syns- 6 between lunch and dinner, 6 hi fis and 2 sugar. Higher than I'd like...

Today:
B - weetabix and skimmed milk
L - nothing really, a few bites of DS's Burger King which I regret and was probably loads of syns
D - pulled pork with syn free BBQ sauce, syn free coleslaw, SW potato wedges
Sn - banana and 2x Rice Krispie cakes (6syns)

Didn't make circuit training as the clutch has gone on the car.

I bloody love SW. I save my Syns for the evening most days - as well as my HexB which is normally Alpen Lights. Have already had 2 mini meringues and 2 Mikado this evening, and could still have all this if I want it...

I need to loose 2lb for my next award so I am really trying this week but when I really want it probably won't get the result but we can hope.
