Katie...mine was binge eating Sad I ended up with binge eating disorder and was spending £800 a month on food at one point.

I used to be a size 14 (which I was happy with) and then shot up to a size 20/22 in just six months. Seem to have the binge eating pretty much under control now...though it's taken 18 months of recovery...so now I can start to lose the weight (hopefully!).

Four stone to lose to get back to my usual size 14. Six stone to a healthy BMI but to be honest I'd be fine with being a size 14, I was happy at that size.

Katenka · 28/02/2016 18:45

I have been so busy I have hardly eaten anything

Last minute change of plans for us and we went to my parents' house for the day instead of the zoo. So lunch turned into a roast (but luckily mum is on SW too so it was all good) and dinner is the leftover pastitsio. Just waiting for DS to go to sleep (he has all of a sudden decided I need to sit with him until he is asleep) then I'm going to eat my pasta. I'm starving!

Had a teeny tiny slice of roulade for dessert, not sure how many syns but will be the only syns for today so should be ok.

welsh you will be fine!

Good luck to all of those who weigh in tomorrow.

Welshloser · 28/02/2016 20:23

Thanks both.....its my first week.....Im worried if I dont lose anything I will completely fall off the wagon!!

KittyOShea · 28/02/2016 20:29

Good luck to tomorrow's weigh in people so glad I don't weigh in on a Monday

B- porridge with yoghurt raspberries and cinnamon
L- chilli at friends house (she is not doing SW but used fry light and 5% mince for me Smile) followed by a mini caramel square- not more than a bite. Estimating 3 1/2 for chilli and 5 for caramel square.
D- 2 sausages (2) and risotto

Add 2 coffees with less than a teaspoon of sugar 1 1/2 takes me to 12. Just enough left for a hi fi with a cuppa.

Hoping to take off my 3 1/2 lbs from New York this week so have batch cooked soups and egg muffins today. Unfortunately the soup isn't that nice but will have to do.

WipsGlitter · 28/02/2016 20:39

I'm starting tomorrow. Three tubs of squash soup prepared. Fruit aplenty. Prawns and salmon purchased. Wish me luck!!

stumblymonkey · 28/02/2016 20:39

Whoops!

I also went a bit Syn crazy today as we had an unplanned lunch out..

B: Porridge (HeB) with milk/water (1/2 HeA) and banana

L: Arancini (risotto balls), roast lamb including 3 roasties, Yorkshire and gravy and then sticky toffee pudding with a scoop of ice cream Confused

D: Tomato soup, muller light, grapes

Haven't worked out the Syns yet...probably about 953 GrinHmm

Linda131963 · 28/02/2016 20:54

Good luck ! X

Hay135 · 29/02/2016 06:39

WI tonight but bot very optimistic after a good start to the week I had a night out and ha far too many Syns. I have planned 4sp days this week with a hope of actually loosing some weight. I do have a christening on Sunday so will have to resist temptation!
Meal plan for today

B - porridge and strawberries
L - left over stirfry
T- beef stew and salard

Snacks
Melon, Apple, orange, yoghurt

calzone · 29/02/2016 07:30

Shall we all try and do 3 sp days this week?

OP posts:
Mummyme87 · 29/02/2016 08:14

I'm going for an sp day today. And maybe tomorrow or Wednesday.

Never done one before, what can I have again?

BasinHaircut · 29/02/2016 08:25

I'm going to sit the SP challenge put I'm afraid, I've already meal planned for the week. BUT I think I might do a few after my weekend away to catch up.

Did I tell you that DH and I have both lost a stone each now? We are well chuffed. DH's weight loss had stalled a bit but I think id been starving him a bit (didn't know he could have more syns etc), but this past week I've given him a bit more to eat and its started coming off again.

KittyOShea · 29/02/2016 08:32

I find SP really difficult in winter- I could never low carb. It's one of the things that makes SW work for me that I can eat potatoes, pasta and rice- especially rice.

In summer they're great to do with all the salads.

Great excitement on our group Facebook at discovering that kings mill whole meal crustless bread allows 3 slices for hexb. Have sent DH out to buy some Grin

Mummyme87 · 29/02/2016 08:49

Trying to buy the kingsmill bread at tesco online but they don't have it 😒

Kim82 · 29/02/2016 08:54

I'll be doing sp days Mon-thurs this week to try and counteract all the food and wine I will have this weekend. I'm going away from fri-sun for a wedding (both child and husband free - yay) and the food has already been paid for in advance so no doubt I'll wade right in and stuff myself! If I can maintain this week then I'll be happy.

I have my weigh in this morning to get out of the way first though...

Katenka · 29/02/2016 09:03

I usually do 3-4 Sp days a week. I can eat pasta or rice anyway. Missing potatoes doesn't really both me anymore either.

Just waiting to weigh in. Biggest queu eni have ever seen

stumblymonkey · 29/02/2016 09:09

I'm saving SP days for when I'm at a plateau. I still have so much weight to lose at the moment that I reckon I can get a decent loss without them at the moment.

Plus low-carb makes me angry!

We had two people in our group (including my friend) do 3-4 SP days last week and they lost less than usual...anyone else found that?

stumblymonkey · 29/02/2016 09:11

Katenka...I thought SP days were no rice/pasta/grains but you get two HEB?

Buttwing · 29/02/2016 09:20

The thing I find hardest about sp is the fruit restrictions. I love bananas, mangos, grapes.... In fact all the fruits your not allowed. I'm not that bothered about not having pasta, rice, potatoes etc..
I just feel really deprived and then end up eating loads of rubbish. The last time I did slimming world I lost three and half stone and got down to 9stone 7 (then for pregnant again!) this was before sp was invented so just did extra easy. In my last week i lost 5lbs so even though I didn't have a lot to lose at the end it still came off while eating carbs.

I will probably do so for I couple of weeks before my holiday as a quick fix but it has no permanent place in my lifeGrinGrin

Buttwing · 29/02/2016 09:20

Sp not so!
