Blimey Emily - if you manage to eat that well on deadline day you deserve every ounce you lose.

When I was a college deadline day was pretty much sponsored by caffeine, wine & Weatherspoon's Grin.

Katenka · 24/02/2016 18:10

Well I finished the White chocolate melting and can happily say I didn't eat any. There was a couple of kilo spare and got dh to pack them away so I didn't dip in.

I think I deserve at least an extra puns off this week Grin

B-fruit
L- 5% mince, butternut squash, green beans and cheese (HEA)
D chicken, green beans and baby sweetcorn

Snacks - Apple, pear, 2 X hi fi light (HEB) and some melon later.

AvaLeStrange · 24/02/2016 18:24

Well I've had a really easy day by comparison. Got up late and didn't manage breakfast so had two hi fi bars as my HexB - the rocky road ones are lush!

Pasta salad & fruit for lunch (free), bag of Quavers this afternoon (4.5).

Dinner as planned, so feeling pretty good about today.

Also went shopping & stocked up Alpen Lights, Mullerlights, Mugshots, Pasta & Sauce, Quavers & sugar free jelly pots Smile.

KittyOShea · 24/02/2016 19:19

Well 3 and a half pounds on Blush

But what did I expect after a week away that included wine, dunkin donuts and big American portion sizes! 3 and a half is not that bad.

Aiming to lose at least 2 of those this week.

KatieT12 · 24/02/2016 19:30

Kitty 3 and a half pounds is great, considering!!!

Kim82 · 24/02/2016 19:36

3.5lb is pretty good, if I'd have eaten like that for a week I'd be looking at at least 5lb on!

My menu went out of the window today as unfortunately we had a loss in the family (expected but still not nice) so my mind was elsewhere. All I've had to eat today is:

1 alpen light bar
2 packets of hula hoop pufts (3.5 syns each)
Aldi digger choc biscuit (4.5 syns)
2 ryvita with scrambled egg on top

So I have still stuck with my sp week but without any speed whatsoever today and not enough food in total. I'll grab an orange or strawberries or something later if I get hungry.

Hay135 · 24/02/2016 19:43

Sorry for your loss Kim Flowers I think you had done really well to stay on plan!

Kitty that's not to bad at all I would be happy with tha at

Ava are sugar free jelly pots syn free?

Katenka amazing will power I don't think I could do it!

KittyOShea · 24/02/2016 19:52

So sorry for your loss Kim. Expected or not, it's not easy.

Try to eat something later if you can to keep going Flowers

AvaLeStrange · 24/02/2016 19:59

Sorry for your loss Kim - look after yourself Flowers.

0.5 suns for a pot of sugar free jelly. They're on 5 for £2 in Asda at the mo (everything I bought today in there was on some kind of offer - if another SW member had clocked my trolley they'd instantly known I was one too!).

maygirl · 24/02/2016 20:03

Flowers Kim for your sad news

Lost 2 pounds (over 2 weeks) and finally my 1 stone award .I think I'm this threads slowest loser lol!

Buttwing · 24/02/2016 20:58

Kim so sorry for your loss Thanks

Kitty I would be really pleased with that. I went away for a week and put 8lb on Blush

Just weighed in I lost 2lb. I also set myself a time limit to get to target. I want to lose 5 stone in total I've lost 3 stone 6 and half pounds so far so have 1 stone 7 and a half to go. I will do this by my holiday at the end of May. My consultant worked out I would need to lose a pound and a half a week to do it.

Bring.it.on.Grin

emwithme · 24/02/2016 20:59

Flowers for you Kim

maygirl I'm also a slow loser. Been at it since the end of June and am 1 stone 10 lbs down.

Kim82 · 24/02/2016 21:17

Thanks for all the flowers and well done on the losses maygirl and Buttwing.

I'm quite proud that I've just eaten an orange and half an apple when what I'd much rather do is ram my face into a huge cake. This week's weigh in had better be worth it!

KatieT12 · 24/02/2016 21:27

Kim Flowers well done for sticking with it

BirdingWidow · 24/02/2016 21:33

Hello, I don't have time to post every day but am keeping up with the thread and enjoying hearing how people are doing. Some very dedicated losers on this thread!

I was losing at a respectable rate but have been a very slow practically non-existent loser since Christmas. I just keep having one or two challenging days st there kendo and I just stand still. Grr!

Weigh in tomorrow, I'll be glad if I haven't gained. Am cooking for some friends from abroad on Saturday and they have requested my (pre-SW) chicken pie. I will not eat the pastry as a compromise.... Wink

KatieT12 · 24/02/2016 21:35

Chicken pie sounds amazing... I find the sauce just as lovely! I'm weighing in too tomo! Good luck x

Mummyme87 · 24/02/2016 21:38

Lost 3.5lb tonight, 13.5lb in total. Shouldn't have eaten that brownie today, could have had my stone. Next week.

Well done losers!

KittyOShea · 24/02/2016 21:40

Wow mummy. That's amazing. Congrats!

lunatrick · 24/02/2016 21:41

Back to college today after a week off, and trying avoid temptations I usually come across.

I had one hour sleep last night after spending ages finishing an assignment due in this morning, once I eventually got to bed my mind was whirring with information and took ages to drop off - so really been craving crap food through tiredness.

I forced myself to make tuna pasta salad this morning to take into college. I stayed in the classroom during break to avoid the temptation of panini in the canteen, or chocolate from the vending machine in the common room.

I was so desperate for coffee that I used sweetener instead of sugar (hate the after taste).

Had to get change for the car park which usually means I buy a bar of chocolate, but I had a pot of fruit instead.

Had to shop for food and walked past some lovely looking pizzas and ice creams, which would have been so easy to have due to being dead on my feet - but I ended up buying salmon and veg instead.

Am feeling proud of myself!

B - porridge (HEA+B) summer fruits, coffee and 2 syns for sugar
L - tuna pasta and salad - 2 syns for mayo, pot of fruit
D - salmon, new pots and mediterranean ved roasted in tinned tomatoes - husband said it's the best meal he's ever had (he's been having the same meals as me since I started, just larger portions).

Will have options hot choc later for another 2 syns.

Hay135 · 24/02/2016 21:43

Well done mummyme that's a really good loss. I wouldn't worry about the brownie your doing Great. As my consultant says don't worry about the past you can't change it just look forward 😀

OrianaBanana · 24/02/2016 22:16

I'm sorry Kim Flowers

maygirl I suspect that's me - been at SW almost a year now and in total I've lost 1 stone 5 lbs.

Maintained tonight - must get my arse in gear and lose 2 lbs to get back to my 1.5 stone award level. Then onwards! Must stop faffing about - that's my third week in a row of maintaining Hmm (the week before that, half a pound went on). I have about 1 stone 3 lbs to target so that's totally do-able...

calzone · 24/02/2016 22:48

Bit annoying that I have put on 1.5lbs tonight.

All that chopping for nothing. :-(

So have told my consultant that I will do a food diary for her and be back on plan (not that I was off it!)

Plan for tomorrow.....

B....cherries, yoghurt, 35g crunchy bran
L....ham salad and soup
D....SW burgers, Jerusalem artichokes and cabbage

OP posts:
BasinHaircut · 25/02/2016 08:24

Never mind calzone I'm sure the diary will help!

I had a cheeky weigh this morning and appear to be 0.5lbs down from Sunday. Well chuffed with that.

I'm finding weighing twice a week is keeping me on track at the moment. Does anyone else find that? If it's not a good weight mid-week it Spurs me on, and if it is a good weight it makes me determined to hang on to it till the weekly weigh in. So seems to be win-win. Although I think I read you aren't supposed to weigh mid week Blush

Anyway today will look like this:
B - weetabix and skimmed milk
L - leftover sausage casserole and rice
D - smoked fish florentine
Sn - satsumas, apple, packet of sun bites (6syns).

Kim82 · 25/02/2016 08:34

I'm a daily weigher, every morning as soon as I've got up. My scales are already showing a 2.5lb(!) loss since Monday from following the sp but I'm sure it won't continue at that rate throughout the week. It helps spur me on when I can see things moving in the right direction.

Today's menu will be:

B - alpen light bar (1st HeB), apple, strawberries

L - omelette with ham, tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach, an orange and a muller light Greek yoghurt (0.5 syns)

D - lamb steaks with sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower and peas

Sn - 2 x ryvita (2nd HeB) with chilli cottage cheese, peach, melon and something with syns in, not sure what yet though.

HeA will be milk in tea

WeShouldOpenABar · 25/02/2016 08:35

down .5lb which i think is a continuation of the stall, 9 pound in total but would like to lose a bit closer to a stone than a half a stone. I've had quite a few sp days so I dont really know where to go to give myself a kick in the arse. I always have veg for dinner now over chips say.
