You really need to eat more as you shouldn't be hungry......

This was my dessert tonight.......non SW people have made comments about it being too much but I don't care. It was lovely.

That isn't too much calzone - my constant's words were "just keep eating, never go hungry" Grin

Mind you, I had no syns today and think the diet is very fair!

BasinHaircut · 20/02/2016 06:32

Morning All!

No not hungry either. Well, I'm hungrier for my meals but in a good way. But after dinner that 'hunger' is more that I'd like something else rather than need something else. Last night I dealt with it by having a small glass of skimmed milk. Night before I froze a muller light Greek yoghurt until it was the consistency of soft serve ice cream. Was yummy and only 0.5 syns.

I'm going to try the porridge pancakes again this morning. Gonna use 2 eggs instead of one as last week they were a bit dry (but still nice). So today should look like this:

B - pancakes (oats HEXB) with 1 tbsp maple syrup (2syns), banana

L - jacket potato with beans, pulled pork, SW coleslaw and salad

D - spag Bol, broccoli and Parmesan HEXA

Sn - probably some fruit and a frozen Greek yog

BasinHaircut · 20/02/2016 08:09

Ok did the pancakes again and they were spot on. Added a tbsp of plain flour for 1 syn too. So recipe if anyone is interested:

Blitz up HEXB allowance of porridge oats till fine, add tbsp plain flour, 2 eggs and dash of milk and mix. Fry in spray oil. Makes 2 good sized pancakes. I served with chopped banana and tbsp maple syrup (2 syns). So 3 syns in all and I am FULL!

sleeplessinmybedroom · 20/02/2016 08:11

Those pancakes sound nice basin, how do you make them?

sleeplessinmybedroom · 20/02/2016 08:12

Ha ha cross posted you must have read my mind Basin.

BasinHaircut · 20/02/2016 08:23

Have a go at them sleepless they are so nice!

Kim82 · 20/02/2016 08:34

I'm back on it today now after struggling for a few days.

B - fruit and Greek muller light yoghurt (0.5 syns)

L - tuna salad with pieces of pasta to fill me up a bit more

D - 2 sausages (6 syns), SW chips, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots

Sn - fruit and cucumber sticks

I'm hoping the weather stays dry so I can get out for a walk with the kids too.

OrianaBanana · 20/02/2016 08:42

Well done Kim, it's hard getting back on track.

Today will be/is

B - egg fried with frylight on half my HExB, butter (4), nectarine
L - smoked salmon salad lots of speed
D - at a friend's house with smalls so it will be sausages and a chocolate dessert. Trying to visualise myself having maybe one sausage (or two depending on size) and a sliver of the dessert, lots of veg. Will need to refuse some biscuits too.

It's not perfect but as long as I don't pig out I should be ok.

Went a bit over my syns yesterday, with a piece of granary toast and coconut milk in my dinner being the main culprits (I already had some full fat stuff to use up only 2 months past its best before date ). Maybe 18 syns total. Not comprised of junky binging though, so that's good.

Just had a giant omelette for breakfast with bacon, tomatoes, spring onions, mushrooms and cheese (hex a). Need to finish a rather worthy but not-to-be-repeated squash and sweet potato stew for lunch, and then SW BURGERS FOR DINNER! Am excited already... Saving syns for a spot of ketchup. Yum.

On the feeling ill, I didn't but I did have massive sugar cravings which waned after a couple of days. That was tough but then I ate a LOT of chocolate before, it really was shocking. If you have caffeine in drinks and are having less then I expect you would feel that too. It really will pass within a few days, in the meantime try to be nice to yourself. Eat posh fruit, paint your nails, go to bed early etc?

AvaLeStrange · 20/02/2016 09:09

Kate I wasn't well when I started so didn't notice the difference.

Have an afternoon tea/lunch for colleague who's leaving today, so the plan is:

B: Fruit & fat free from age frais

L: Smoked salmon & cucumber sandwich (HexB), scone with jam & cream (need to work out syns) & pot of tea

D: SW Chicken Korma & Rice

Hoping I may have some syns left over for a glass of wine but the scones where we're going are huge so not hopeful.

cowboylover · 20/02/2016 09:42

Katie don't forget to plan or use your Syns in as part of your plan as its designed with those and you need them so crazy as it sounds don't fully cut them out!

I love meals like Slimming World Burgers when it doesn't look like a
diet meal at all so I feel like I'm having a treat when it's on plan.

Well done getting back to it Kim

This afternoon I am going out for drinks so very much going to be a flexible Syns day and not following the fast forward plan.

AvaLeStrange · 20/02/2016 09:54

I've just checked out the syns in a scone with jam and cream Shock.

No wine for me tonight!

OrianaBanana · 20/02/2016 10:01

Yeah it's pretty bad. What about just having the jam? x

OP posts:
AvaLeStrange · 20/02/2016 10:07

Well, I'm going to aim for half a scone with just jam, but we'll see...Grin

OrianaBanana · 20/02/2016 10:14

At least you'll know beforehand - if you still choose to go ahead, enjoy it! x

BasinHaircut · 20/02/2016 10:20

OrianaBanana · 20/02/2016 10:53

The app says an M&S jam and cream scone is 28

Zippidydoodah · 20/02/2016 11:08

Hi! Can I join, please? I Have been doing sw since before christmas but the last two weeks I havf seriously lacked motivation, and have been eating whatever I want!! Sad

Will post my menu later....

AvaLeStrange · 20/02/2016 11:28

According to book

Scone 11.5
Jam 0.5 -2
Clotted cream 4.5 per level tbsp

Does anyone know how big M & S scones are? The ones at the tea rooms were going to are a good 3 inches across if not slightly bigger.

Think I will have to stick to a half.

AvaLeStrange · 20/02/2016 11:29

Really tricky as my colleagues know I love mynfood and I don't want them to know I'm trying to lose weight!

EmilyK83 · 20/02/2016 12:08

Done the week's meal plan this morning, so shopping trip needed this afternoon!

Today:

Brunch - "fry up" - fried egg, 1 piece wholemeal toast (half HexB) with 1tsp spread (1), leeks, mushrooms, beans and 2 Linda McCartney sausages

D - SW pork sausages with carrot and swede mash, and cabbage

Fruit to snack on in between, will probably use HexA in a glass of milk or some cheese on toast (other half HexB) when I get home tonight.

Out to the pub with friends this evening, planning on sticking religiously to Diet Coke...but not having any Syns before then (other than my spread at brunch) in case that plan goes wrong!

Finished yesterday on 6.5 Syns, the rest of the week's been about 15 each day...oops...

KatieT12 · 20/02/2016 12:47

cowboylover - I've just not needed them! I probably will at some point, but not right now

OrianaBanana · 20/02/2016 13:18

Emily 15 a day is fine! It's when you go over that (like I do all the time Hmm) it's a problem.

I think I deserve a medal. My Sil came over today with her kids. They wanted to go to McDonald's for lunch and I declined and stayed with the sleeping baby and ate soup id made yesterday while Dp and Ds went.
