Hmmmm......I weighed in at 3.45 and maintained. That's ok but then I binged on crap for ages......so am not weighing early again. Went back to help at 7.30pm.

FoofFighter · 20/01/2016 21:14

Aurora, not many people don't get a loss on their first week

Pobspits · 20/01/2016 21:18

Thanks for info re lattes. It makes me very happy!

Today I have had

Lunch: beans on wholemeal small toast and egg and beetroot.
Dinner: SW coleslaw and baked potato with cottage cheese

Snacks - latte! Toffee mill relight and a sweet and sour noodle mugshot. About to have an apple and half a small twirl.

Does this sound ok? I don't go to group - just can't find the time.

DesertIslandPenguin · 20/01/2016 21:45

Oooh, shiny new thread! Today has gone really well, so pleased to have managed a decent day on plan.

B. Overnight oats with mango & strawbs
L Roasted vegetable couscous (onion, peppers, sweet potato, BNS, courgettes, chickpeas)
D BBQ beans & sausages, swede & carrot mash (1syn)
Pud: made a sundae with a hifi bar (3), muller coconut/vanilla yogurt (0.5), 2 mini meringues (2), banana, WW chocolate/honeycomb frozen dessert (4) and 0.5 syn of choc shot. Lush!!

Definitely going to make sundaes for puds from now on. They look so naughty but they're quite reasonable really.

Buttwing · 20/01/2016 21:56

Well knock me down with a stickle brick I only bloody maintained!!Grin

I'm well chuffed!

maygirl · 20/01/2016 22:04

Looks good to me pobs
Just lost long post but been on plan and down 1 pound at weigh in.

annatha · 20/01/2016 22:10

Much better day today. Feel like I'm learning to recognise my bad habits- often I skip meals and go ages without eating then just binge, so I'm trying to eat three meals a day regardless of whether I'm hungry or not in the hope that if I fill up on good stuff I'll be less likely to attack the cupboard later. Overnight oats keep me fullmuch longer than a cooked breakfast. Bread bloats me. I'm also drinking at least 3l of water which has helped to curb the snacking.

B- overnight oats
L- chicken stir fry
D- spaghetti bolognese
S- hifi, SW brownies

On 4 syns so far and hoping to stay at that.

OrianaBanana · 20/01/2016 22:15

Me too buttwing! Go us!

Here's to a better week - I have a food diary to help.

Weighed in tonight (a day early, not my usual group) and had gained 0.5lb. Feel a bit down as I have been on plan all week - I am pretty careful and structured if no social events and I've never gained before on a 'boring' week. Grr.

maygirl · 21/01/2016 06:49

Maybe it's the different scales birding?

calzone · 21/01/2016 07:25

Changing scales often makes this happen Birding. Very annoying.

Onwards and downwards.

BasinHaircut · 21/01/2016 07:52

I had a cheeky mid-week weigh in and I've gained a pound! I've got a nasty cold and am laid up on the sofa, someone please tell me that you retain water or something when you are ill?!

WeShouldOpenABar · 21/01/2016 09:01

Down a pound, was hoping for more only because I have a bad weekend coming up , still down is down its a marathon not a sprint.

If anyone has a minutes could they look at this menu for me , DPs parents will get very huffy if I ask for sauce on the side or any replacements so its looking a bit difficult hartleys.ie/food/a-la-carte-menu/

EmilyK83 · 21/01/2016 09:26

I reckon the noodle salad or halloumi to start, WeShould, and the monkfish for your main?

OrianaBanana · 21/01/2016 09:29

I'd go with the monkfish (steak comes with chips) and HExB the nuts and have no other syns. Coffee for 'dessert'...

Gained a pound. I'm going to start writing it all down and hope for a loss next week!

WeShouldOpenABar · 21/01/2016 10:45

Thats what I was thinking, thanks guys

tabulahrasa · 21/01/2016 12:17

I found you....lol

Lost a pound, which is good as I had an off plan night out.

Today I made scan bran carrot cake, I was planning to just shake up my b choices a bit, but there's no way I'm going to eat it all in a day, it's huge.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 21/01/2016 12:33

Congrats to all the losers.

Gosh I just want to eat a whole pack of chocolate digestives (dark, obvs). I could easily. Dipped in tea.

Had a kitkat at my friend's house but didn't savour it as too busy chatting. That will have to do though. Might use my HEs for cheese on toast!

EmilyK83 · 21/01/2016 13:47

Today:

B - 2 pears and a mug of peppermint tea

L - see pic! It's Chinese chicken slices at the bottom, the crispbreads are my HexB and the cheese triangles part of my HexA. The bit in the middle was an experiment...and it worked! Syn-free smoked salmon pate made with 150g quark, 75g smoked salmon, the juice of half a lemon and a small handful of dill, all blitzed up together. SO good - and that's only half of it, I have the rest for my lunch tomorrow!

D - Fish and veg

Syns - to be confirmed...but not many after my 25 Syn carrot cake on Tues!

WI this morning and down 1 1/2 lbs. Bit disappointed because of being on plan totally this week but it is what it is, it's a loss, and it means I only have 1 1/2 lbs of my Christmas gain to go.

Have got a giant roasting tray with sweet potato, butternut squash, onion, courgette and garlic in the oven now to make some soup with.

FoofFighter · 21/01/2016 14:10

Emily, I think those crispbreads might be 6for a heb you know..

Em 1.5 is perfectly fine!

FoofFighter · 21/01/2016 14:11

Finn Crisp Original Thin Crisp (6 x)

mangofizz · 21/01/2016 16:27

3lbs off for me this week so 7 in 2 weeks. Honestly I cant believe how easy this diet is, I love it!

oneowlgirl · 21/01/2016 18:05

That's fantastic! I lost 1lb this week - a bit disappointed as I've been on plan all week but need to keep going.
