Going to weigh in later - dreading it Confused

We still have visitors so I'm really struggling. Did ok until dinner yesterday then it all went to pot again.

Sure the shock of whatever I've put on will get me back on track Sad

Passthevodkaagain · 29/12/2015 08:23

Back on it today
B 2 high five bars and fruit
D Mexican rice
Tea Sw quiche (made with cottage cheese) and butter but squash soup

Fingers crossed all the biscuits and sweets have been eaten in work while I was off Blush

Passthevodkaagain · 29/12/2015 08:24

That should be butternut squash soup! Shock

blondiep14 · 29/12/2015 09:52

3.5 on so off to Iceland later to get some ready meals I can quickly cook when everyone else is still tucking away for Christmas stuff!

Parrish · 29/12/2015 10:58

Hello again. It's been a while. I could really do with the support. I've weighed myself this morning and I'm 7 lbs on. I could cry. Have cried. Should I go to weigh in tomorrow? I'm so ashamed.

blondiep14 · 29/12/2015 11:06

Don't be ashamed Sad that won't help and isn't justified.

If you're ready to get back on then I'd say yes, go tomorrow, get weighed and start afresh. Thanks

PontyGirl · 29/12/2015 11:23

Hello all Smile can I join (again - I think I've popped briefly on before)

Only joined 2 weeks ago. Lost 5.5lbs, probably put it all back on over Xmas. Tried making SW houmous yesterday to ward off the cravings. It was okay, not the same though obviously!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 29/12/2015 11:41

OMG am terrified to weigh in. Normally do on Wednesdays but going to when I get home I think, otherwise I'll put off getting back on plan until Wednesday. The 'how much weight did you gain over xmas' thread has scared me - lots of people saying 5lbs and I've only lost 8lb total since November! So it will be a big set back Shock

KittyOShea · 29/12/2015 13:03

I am going to channel my consultant here Grin

No guilt or shame at SW. Weigh in to find out the damage so we can start improving it. Stay to group to get ideas on how to get back on track.

Consultant spiel over lol

In all seriousness, staying to group really keeps me going. The lack of judgement and unfettered support is a real bonus. Our consultant is doing a syn amnesty too- we can bring any synful items left over from Christmas and he will donate all to a homeless charity- removing temptation and doing something good all in one go.

KittyOShea · 29/12/2015 13:04

And if that doesn't work think of calzone with her big stick...

fraggle84 · 29/12/2015 14:00

Can I join please? Been on sw since May and lost 2 stone.

Went to group last night & gained 1lb which was better than I expected.

I'm on plan now but will be having pizza & wine on nye

B - banana & strawberries
L - mash, peas & chicken breast
D - sw chilli, jacket & salad

A = milk, b = Hi fi light

Syns - Mayo 4, gravy 3

DownstairsMixUp · 29/12/2015 14:49

Hi all, I lost a stone last year for my wedding on SW but put it all back on again so am starting new years day again.

I have a walking baby now though so any tips for quick lunches I'd appreciate! Also, I could possibly be returning to full time education next year so defintely need some ideas for lunches to bring along with me!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 29/12/2015 14:51

Ah this is where I think the group would be handy! I am doing online SW as I have baby DS and assumed he couldn't come with me, but don't know why I assumed that Confused Grin

fraggle84 · 29/12/2015 14:54

I take dd with me who's 10 months and occasionally take my 3 year old, all kids welcome in our group, I just ask that at image therapy my consultant speaks to me at the start incase I need to dash off but I've never had to yet! I take books and toys to amuse them

Buttwing · 29/12/2015 16:30

At our group kids are welcome as long as they're quiet which is why I don't take mine!! I used to take them when they were babies but my 1 and 2 year old would cause total chaos.

I weighed myself and I've put 7lbs( think I deserve a shiny sticker for that!!)on I'm weighing in tomorrow night not particularly looking forward to it but as I said before if it goes on quickly it really does come off quickly when you get back on. My largest gain was 9lb on a weeks holiday (yes I ate one of the children) and I lost 5lbs the first week after then 4 the following so anyone who has had a big gain try not to panic too much.

My consultant said the average gain for a week totally off plan over Xmas is 7lb!

DownstairsMixUp · 29/12/2015 17:23

I've put on half a pound, but then I did have tosnilitus two days before xmas then spent yesterday hung over and ate hardly anything! So not too good really, can imagine I'd have gained a fair bit if it wasn't for that.

overitalready · 29/12/2015 17:44

B - coffee

L - Mugshot, baby bel, banana, pear, Apple and blueberries

FlopIsMyChristmasGuru · 29/12/2015 18:00

Hi just dropping in. Not been on before but needed to flock to some like minded slimmers. Had a gain last night that I wasn't expecting and went home in a strop with myself and in my wisdom at a trough load of marzipan?!! No idea why that seemed like a good response to a gain.
Anyway back on track today but have a meal at friends tomorrow and meal at pizzeria on NYE so could be looking at another gain next weigh in. Trying to remind myself I'll lose it again easily but it's hard

FannyFanakapan · 29/12/2015 18:25

b: Bacon and leftover veg omlette
l: Sandwich (hexb) and soup (1.5). Apple
d: Salmon teriyake and stir fried veg with noodles.
Sn: Orange.

Going to have a muller later, maybe some fruit .

Wibblewobble100 · 29/12/2015 20:27

Oh god.... Dreading weigh in tomorrow. 4 days of gorging on food. On the plus I feel disgusting, but even though I was trying to be back on the straight and narrow today I caved when I had to finish off work an hour late at someone's else's desk full of open boxes of biscuits and chocs. I've only lost 7 lb.... If I've put it all back on I will actually cry. At least I won't be the only one if I have. Thank you for sharing folks .

FlopIsMyChristmasGuru · 29/12/2015 20:32

Oh good luck for tomorrow wibble I was so angry at myself for binging on junk when I got home last night. I'm lucky enough to have lost four stone (just) but I really don't want to backtrack past the four stone loss mark. Feeling quite demotivated but trying to get my head down and get back into the swing of things. I'll be better once I get the sugar roller coaster under control

cowboylover · 29/12/2015 21:12

Hello all! Sorry not caught back up with everyone's posts while I have been offline but I weighed on Boxing Day and had a 6 and half lb gain which I was upset with but was not surprising how much wine I drank and general junk food eaten so I am trying to move on!

B; HEB Toast
L; Diet Coke chicken
D; Beef and Mushroom stroganoff

Would have been fine without the 10 Heros aaarrrrrggggghhhhh

calzone · 30/12/2015 01:42

Ok, guys, let's get some perspective......

It's life. Weight fluctuates. We make decisions. Some good. Some not so good.
In August, I weighed in and went off plan gleefully for 2 weeks, gaining 6.5lbs in the process. That was how my mind worked. My SW buddy stayed on plan over her holiday and lost 3lbs. It took me 7 weeks to relose the 6.5lbs.

Over Xmas, my mindset changed. I have gained weight but pretty sure it isn't 6.5lbs (as I'm still in my size 12 jeans:) ) I went out for dinner tonight and had seafood spaghetti and fizzy water and some garlic bread. If I have put on weight, then I will face it tomorrow and move on.

Am not dreading weigh in. There are way more important things going on such as those poor people in York losing everything in the floods :(

Just get on the scales, face it and refocus.

Friday is the 1st January. You have until Monday to sort this and then the big stick is coming out. You have been warned. Wink
