Thanks for your replies. The leader didn't go through target weight with me but I want to be 11 stone so 14 pounds. No one seems to submit food diaries either but I'm going to do my own one this week as I think it's easy to lose track at the weekend and lose count of all the little syns here and there which add up into big ones overall. A lot of people at the group talk about going completely off plan and still losing but I think I have to forget about that and focus on what I'm doing.

I've reached for the apples this morning instead of banana and going to up my veggies. I really believe in the plan so hopefully next week I'll have a good loss to report

blondiep14 · 01/12/2015 10:19

Put on half a lb.

Annoying, but can't argue after 2 nights out and 'star week'.

Totally angelic this week and aiming to get 2 ofHmm

Pisghetti · 01/12/2015 10:22

Chloe - food diaries should be in the pack you were given. I kept the paper diaries for four weeks but now keep an electronic diary in a journal app just to keep track of Syns.

Today looks like:
S - advent calendar chocolate!
B - wm roll HeB, slice cheddar HeA, Quorn fillets and cherry tomatoes
L - egg fried cauliflower rice with Quorn pueces and lots of speed veg
D - at mum's so baked potato and vegetables with some sort of veggie bake

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 01/12/2015 10:24

Chloe in your pack there should be some food diary sheets. If not, use your PIN at the back of your main book (where they record your weight) and log into Lifeline Online, as there are diary sheets on there. Best of luck.

I'm aiming for another 3.5lb this week, but I'm not sure it's going to be that good. This week is month end for us and unjust haven't had the cash for a lot of shopping so I've had bread every day, within plan but it really doesn't agree with me and I feel bloated as all hell. I'm on my period too, but that doesn't tend to affect things to be fair. Big shop coming this week, with a stock up of my cereal and yoghurt.

maygirl · 01/12/2015 10:54

Sad maintained again, upset and pissed off. Had to walk out of group as I knew I'd cry, and couldn't listen to everyone talking about how they aren't sticking to it but still losing 2-3 pounds. Not sure if I'll go back tbh. I've maintained for 4 weeks. I'm going to have to ditch wine and eating out to lose anything, but when I feel too deprived I go off the rails . My consultant is no help, just rubs it in saying Ooo I'd be seriously pissed off if I were you! Apologies for miserable post!

blondiep14 · 01/12/2015 13:38

Oh Maygirl, poor you Sad

Can you speak to your consultant even via text and arrange to sit down with your food diaries and work out why it isn't working for you?

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 01/12/2015 13:42

Sounds like you've got a shite consultant really. Might be worth dropping into an alternative group instead next week with your food diaries as ask if the leader there can offer you any help?

With the wine and eating out, are you correctly recording syns or are you guesstimating? It's bloody easy to get that hideously wrong as I've found out to my peril!

Good luck :)

Annarose2014 · 01/12/2015 14:09

Yeah screw that. Another vote for alternate group. Mine's not the best either, if I'm honest. She's seems pretty indifferent about excercise. Blathers the party line but admits she doesn't do any herself.

Whereas in WW my leader really banged on about fitness and walked miles every day, even on holiday. She'd be on the cross trainer watching telly on wet days.

I know excercise doesn't really help as much as diet with weight loss, but I'm still a bit suprised its not a bigger deal in the program. It seems like a token thing.

Also, newbie question but do you guys get texts from your consultant? Are you supposed to?

Heyheyheygoodbye · 01/12/2015 14:52

Oh May that's hard. Your consultant sounds crappy - mine would be texting you and getting a food log and all sorts!

idsisatwat · 01/12/2015 14:54

Rubbish week, put 1.5lb on Sad Though I know I haven't planned well, and I succumbed to the biscuit tin.
Will just have to keep trying!

maygirl · 01/12/2015 16:15

Thanks everyone, I am going to try another group . Mine never comments on the food diaries I've handed in, and has said she doesn't do getting in touch outside of group. I guess syns when I have to on meals out but was really good this week, checked menu beforehand to work out what I could have. I do a lot of exercise already, so it's food side I'm not getting right .
Today
Brunch omelette with onion tomatoes, heA cheese.
Snack Peach, ham slice, baby cucumber.
Dinner roast chicken, broccoli, roast veg, green beans
milk in 2 drinks 2 syns
Been running and have a dance class later.

imwithspud · 01/12/2015 16:19

Sorry to those who gained or maintained this week, I can't imagine how frustrating that must be! Onwards and upwards this week (sorry I don't have any constructive adviceBlush)

KittyOShea · 01/12/2015 18:39

My consultant texts us all the time- he is uber enthusiastic which most weeks is good but occasionally makes you want to shoot him Grin
He also texts with advice on food diaries so I reckon a new group could be really helpful for some people by the sounds of it.

He also reckons that small gains or maintains are okay at the minute with all the Christmas parties etc.

B- 1 slice toast (hexb) butter (3 syns) and melon
L- pea and ham soup, Apple, orange
D- spaghetti bolognaise with pasta and tons of veg.

2 more syns for sugar and counting 2 for tiny biccie in m and s cafe. Hi fi bar for later for other 1/2 hexb.

But the big problem is I couldn't get 5% mince for dinner so had to get 10%. Anyone any idea how many syns that would be?

KittyOShea · 01/12/2015 18:42

Just checked app- my portion of mince is 3 syns making 10 today. More than I'd like but not a total disaster.

calzone · 01/12/2015 18:46

Definitely try a new group Maygirl......

B....zoats with raspberries
Tangerine

L....leftover cauliflower cheese and roasted vegetables
Yoghurt, banana, pear

D.....turkey stir fry with noodles
Mullerlight and strawberries, Apple.

Heyheyheygoodbye · 01/12/2015 19:21

A pound off...would be miffed as have been virtuous all week BUT had three big losses the previous weeks so it all balances out. Half a pound to get my stone certificate!

B - banana, tea milk 0.5 syns
L - babybels hexa, Pops 4 syns, apple
D - SW cottage pie, red pepper, muller light
4 syns wine

tabulahrasa · 01/12/2015 19:33

maygirl - your consultant isn't doing what you pay her to, she is supposed to give you feedback on your diaries and while the bulk of support should be done in group, she should still offer some outside of that.

Find another group.

FannyFanakapan · 01/12/2015 20:12

b: Fruit
l: sandwich, crisps (4.5) fruit
d: SPanish omlette, tomato, with 4syns cheese. Yoghurt
sn: 3 crackers (3)

Im in the mood for some very naughty food - kids have advent calendars and I could easily snarf some chocolate. But resisting!

calzone · 01/12/2015 21:05

I have just had my first Graze box.

I have ordered the light box and the syns are between 4-7 syns. Quite like it as I can eat it, count it and there is an end to it......I can't eat another piece because there isn't another piece!
Working ok so far. Had a small piece of lemon and poppy seed cake for 4 syns.

KittyOShea · 01/12/2015 21:22

imwithspud · 01/12/2015 21:32

Ooh looks nice and convenient too.

I'm in N Ireland so it's probably not available here Sad

ZylaB · 01/12/2015 22:10

I've had the graze boxes before. How do you know how many syns in each pot calzone does it tell you?

Annarose2014 · 01/12/2015 22:38

3lbs down in 2nd weigh in!

Flabbergasted. I had two bottles of wine over the course of the week! Blush
