Why would they not want to sell them?

Got to be honest, I read it online and believed it. Blush

idsisatwat · 25/11/2015 06:47

Weighed in last night, 1.5lb downGrin So, that's 9lb so far.

calzone · 25/11/2015 07:17

Well done on the losses!!! :)

Quark, pronounced qvark......is a Ff soft cheese. I love it and it is a speed food. Plain is free, flavoured is not. Very versatile. Tesco one is the best one.

Plan for today is.....

B....fruit and yoghurt
L.....vegetable soup with extra vegetables in it
Mullerlight
D.....KFC rice box (4.5) :)

Hi Cowboy and ouch, hope your finger mends soon! Well done on losses !
I'm out tonight, just looked at menu and decided to go for a salad with grilled halloumi and save my HeA for it, + will stick to 2 small wines
B HeB split into prunes,50 g with yogurt and a hifi light, as only had 50g prunes left
L bacon, mushrooms, beans, greens, big portion after gym to hopefully keep me going till get dinner which will be much later than normal, and prevent snacking on DC and DH dinner which i will still have to cook for them. They can have a non SW dinner for once lol!
Mmm love cauli pizza too . As for swede I've been lazy recently and get the Aunt Bessies . As there's only me that likes it there's no point cooking a whole one .It's only 0.5 syn per 100g (the swede and carrot mash).
Any one else doing their Body Magic?! They don't bother with those awards at my group.

cowboylover · 25/11/2015 10:31

At hospital again this morning and running late so just got a bag of fruit to munch through the day and going to make a lasagne when I get home.

Does anyone else have an Actifry? What do you cook in it? I have only done chips and Heck Sausage in it so far but sure it's got more potential!

I use quark at home especially pasta bakes and things like that but find it doesn't reheat well so not something I recommend when you want leftovers. On work days I often take left overs for lunch.

Going to try making a soup tomorrow night I think to have when I'm back from group.

Annarose2014 · 25/11/2015 10:40

I'm at gold already. They don't seem to do it much at my group. My Leader said last night she'd joined a gym but never goes.

Ditto reading the food diaries. It seemed last night that half the group hadn't brought theirs in. We have a jar where pop them in as raffle tickets but there were only half a dozen in there.

I guess they're only for if you run into trouble and ask her to check something.

Annarose2014 · 25/11/2015 10:42

Any receipes for the Cauliflower base?

The girl last night did this: grate a huge cauliflower, microwave it for 5 mins to get the moisture out, bind with a large egg, roll it out.

Then she had a complicated routine of 15 mins in centre of oven, 10 mins at top of oven, then flip it over and another 10 mins ( not sure which part of the oven that bit was!)

Pisghetti · 25/11/2015 12:55

That's pretty much what I do Anna. The recipe is on the slimming world website. I bought a non stick baking liner from the pound shop which was pretty essential. The first time I tried making it with greaseproof paper and it got stuck and fell apart. I use a food processor for the cauliflower - takes no time at all. I cover with cling film while microwaving - you want a pretty wet mix. I add oregano and two eggs (leaving it cool slightly first so I don't scramble the eggs) then shape on the baking sheet and move it around the oven as she described before topping it and cooking for another 10 mins. Definitely faffier than a frozen pizza but I really enjoyed it.

imwithspud · 25/11/2015 13:30

We had an actifry and used it almost daily for a year. It broke and we have a breville halo now but since we moved its not been used (we didn't have a working oven at the old place - useless LL). It was mainly used for chips but we occasionally did chicken legs in it that turned out well.

Plan for today
B - I had weetabix mini's (heb) and an apple again
L - homemade leek and potato soup, I may or may not have helped myself to 3rd helpingsBlush
Hopefully that will tide me over till dinner where I'll be doing burger in a bowl with SW chips.

imwithspud · 25/11/2015 13:40

What's everyone doing over Christmas? Would it be so bad to have a couple of days 'off'? I'm not sure I'll be able to resist all the treats.

Heyheyheygoodbye · 25/11/2015 13:45

Well done to all losses and welcome all newbies Smile

spud I think I'm going to have off 22-26 as this includes my husband's birthday and various family visits. Then have off NYE. Will try and stick to it the rest of the time although I have got two weekends away booked between now and Christmas too Hmm

maygirl · 25/11/2015 14:23

Christmas I'll have some chocolate and booze but stick to SW way of cooking meals as I love loads of veg and hate feeling too stuffed. Will have Xmas cake and pudding a few times too .
Hope I don't end up back where I started! Will be good between Christmas and New Year.
Changed lunch to make it Speedier, so had bacon mushrooms and tomatoes with, courgetti , quark and chilli flakes. The lid fell off the chilli flakes so loads went on and it was mega spicy

ZylaB · 25/11/2015 17:00

Oh I quite fancy trying the pizza!

B... 2 hifi light bars (Heb)
L... Chicken and sweet corn soup, pear
D... SW cottage pie with lots of extra veg, banana
Snacks... Curly wurly (6 syns), will have a couple of cheese triangles later for heA.

overitalready · 25/11/2015 18:23

I shall be having Xmas day and Boxing Day off. I think the only differences will be proper roast potatoes and puddings though. I don't drink alcohol so that makes it easier. Maybe a few Doritos an all actually.

B - Coffee,banana and 2 weetabix

L - 2 boiled eggs, Apple and a mini flapjack

D - Pork chop, mash, broccoli, peas, green beans and gravy

blondiep14 · 25/11/2015 18:32

I quite fancy trying the pizza too. I don't have a blender though. And it seems a bit of a faff!!

KittyOShea · 25/11/2015 19:00

Christmas Day and Boxing Day off for me too.

Heading round to class shortly. Fingers crossed...

imwithspud · 25/11/2015 19:07

I'm thinking of having Xmas eve, day and Boxing Day 'off'. Might stick to SW friendly breakfasts, I don't drink either, it's more the chocolate and snacks which entice me. We are also going to the pil on Boxing Day for a few days, and I know it will be extremely hard to stay on track whilst visiting them. I might take a few frozen portions of soup up and low-syn snacks up with me whilst allowing myself to indulge a little.

Going to attempt rolo muffins tonight, they're only 2.5syns per cake, just hope they turn out well!

imwithspud · 25/11/2015 19:09

Good luck Kitty. I'm glad it's not just me having a couple of days off over the festive period. I will probably gain during that week, but hopefully I'll have lost enough weight by then so that I won't end up back where I started.

TwoTonTessie · 25/11/2015 19:13

Well done on all the losses. 2lb off for me this week and my 3 stone award. My target is in sight now Smile

Buttwing · 25/11/2015 19:36

I'm planning on making a list of the things I would feel deprived to miss out on. I eat loads of stuff just because it's there eg quality streets and roses, I'm not really bothered about it it's more just a habit so I'm planning on not eating for the sake of it. However I can't (and don't want to) imagine Xmas without just Brazil's or a mince pie and brandy cream so I will choose my treats carefully.
We also have an Italian Xmas day in the 27th which for me is the highlight of Xmas no one is keeping me away from my mums homemade lasagne and zuchotto!!!

Heyheyheygoodbye · 25/11/2015 19:56

B - Apple and banana, milk in tea 0.5 syns
L - mackerel in tomato sauce on toast hexb, apple
D - hm burgers with cheese hexa, wedges, ketchup 4 syns. Do a few spring onions count as speed? Blush Muller light, 2 mini meringues 2 syns.

Heyheyheygoodbye · 25/11/2015 19:57

Ooh Buttwing making a list like that is a great idea! I might steal that [santa]

Enjolrass · 25/11/2015 20:03

I am having from the evening of the 23rd til Boxing Day off. That all my socialising done in one go.

B-non
L meatballs homemade veg sauce and loads of salad
D homemade spag Bol - loads of veg and potato wedges

Inbetween - satsumas

blondiep14 · 25/11/2015 20:17

That is a great idea Butt.

I definitely want roast spuds done properly on Christmas Day. And i always have shortbread with my tea in the morning! Yes, Christmas Day off for sure!

Other things I usually eat but will try and avoid are things like Twiglets and Cheeselets.

Will be having some cheese and biscuits though!

Will have Christmas Day off, maybe Boxing Day on as think we're quiet. 27th off as seeing family. Will try and limit the damage where I can!
