Yeah if I make anything with a sauce - stew, chilli, spag bol - I add tons of veg but if I'm eating chicken or fish I'll try and have two veg with it. I eat lots of fruit to make up for my lacking veg sometimes, and try to have salad veg like celery which I do like.

L - quorn sausages (low fat) beans and bacon, fat removed.

D - Chicken breast with tomatoes and feta (HEA) and cabbage. I had a second portion of cabbage

In between - satsuma X 2 and melon.

I add loads of veg to things like chilli and spag bol too. Made chilli for tonight and it had onions, garlic, red pepper, sweetcorn, green chillies, leek, carrot, I add anything that I can find in the fridge that might go nicely or be easily hidden.

Newbie question but what are 'p' foods? Obviously 's' stands for speed and I know what those are.

Today went okay. Went to a garden centre for lunch, had chips, diet pepsi and then we took DD1 to the soft play they've got there and I had a small hot chocolate so I'd imagine that and the chips swallowed up all my syns for the day.

Tempted to have another bowl of Chilli shortly, it's syn free and I'm a bit peckish still despite having quite a large portion with rice earlier.

B- banana, 2 oranges
L- Ryvita, salmon, Mayo, cucumber, fruit
D- curry with half rice and half SW sweet potato chips

Syns- 2 sugar, 2 hifi (6)

I add loads of veg to rice/ pasta dinners too. Tonight's curry had peppers, mushrooms, celery and courgettes (I love celery and courgettes so they go in most things Grin)

Going to make celeriac soup now for tomorrow's lunch- need lots of speed tomorrow- weigh day- aargh

D.. SW carbonara, made with bacon medallions, quark and veg spaghetti instead of pasta (carrot, butternut squash and courgette)

d: chilli (1s) and savory rice (1.5). Strawberries, greek yoghurt.

syns: 4 chocolate buttons, Plus lots of extra milk in coffee (4-5 syns?)

3lb off Grin slimmer of the week and slimmer of the month Grin

Can't believe it after Sunday! A miracle has occurred. DH lost 2lb and got his half stone, hooray!

Our group leader is so busy with newbies, she wouldn't know if anyone came in to buy. It's not a secret club.

Just walk in and buy some.

Am hoping for another loss tomorrow night.
Have had a really good week so hope it shows on the scales. Am only 5lbs to target.....my SW Xmas wish was to be 11 stone by Xmas.

I got a bit mixed up to start with the Speed foods too, as old SW had superfree for fruit and veg, then some meat, beans and pulses were speed, so I was counting peas as speed for first few weeks, and my consultant never looked at the first 4 weeks of diaries she asked me to fill in :(
Another shortie here, under 5ft and 10st 9. Want to get to 9 stone 4, as I was a size 10 at that weight previously, even though I think may still be overweight for BMI.
Maintained at weigh in AGAIN!
B 2 hi fi after weigh in, orange
Lf yogurt with tsp fruit spread 0.5syn
L veg soup
Snack HeB2 prunes with low fat custard 5.5 syns
D pork chop with mustard sauce 2syns , celeriac mash, carrots, cavolo nero greens, brussel sprouts

Hello all! I hope you don't mind me joining you, back to Mumsnet after a while off.

I joined SW in February and so far lost 43lbs with another 42lbs to go to target for me. I have been doing really well and having consistent losses but recently slowing down, I started at a size 24 and now I'm in an 18 I know I would like to be smaller but at the same time I'm happier to have so much more choice shopping so not as motivated. Which is where I would like to join you for more regular support and motivation than the weekly group.

I weigh on a Thursday night and plan my meals 3 days at a time or I find its too much and I forget what's coming up.

B; HEB toast
L; Fruit, Muller Light and Double decker
D; Jacket potato with HEA Cheese, ham and spinach. Then Mango and Muller again.

Broke my finger and feeling sorry for myself today. 68 syns for the week.

1st weigh in and a 2.5 loss! Quite chuffed as I was all over the place tnis week.

Bit of a mad meeting with people all excitedly discussing how to make a cauliflower pizza base and how to microwave a turnip whole.

Can anyone talk to me about Quark? Its a cheese substitute, yes? Whats the difference in taste between it and cottage cheese? Is it handier to have in?
