It's peach flavoured onken with grains, so I'd imagine that isn't free. I'm happy to switch to natural and just add a few raw oats. Plus the fruit it's fine. I changed my lunch over cos I realised rice cakes have a syn value, and plus it was freezing and pissing down with rain, so I had jacket potato with baked beans and cottage cheese and tuna fish. Snacked on an apple, banana and a satsuma - but thanks for the tip pisghetti I'll look at the dips. Dinner is in the slow cooker, and it's butternut squash, chicken breast, garlic, herbs and a tin of chopped tomatoes. We're having it with steamed broccoli and rice, into which I might chuck some quark and sort off mash it together.

imwithspud · 23/11/2015 19:13

My body is screaming out for sugar! Already had my freddo, really tempted to have some cake.

I think the days will be okay but I'll really struggle with the evenings after the kids are in bed.

Heyheyheygoodbye · 23/11/2015 19:17

spud try keeping the fruit bowl next to you and get the things you like best to fill it.

Really have to search for those blue cheese triangles now!

Goldensunnydays81 · 24/11/2015 06:49

Hi
Can I come and join you please! I joined a few weeks ago and have lost 9.5 so far! It is just coming off slowly!
Weigh in today so will see what happens then! I have got about another 6.5 stone to go feels like such a daunting task Sad

ScrambledEggAndToast · 24/11/2015 06:58

Ooh exciting, I've just found this thread. DP and I are going to be starting slimming world properly when he moves in on Friday (online, not the classes). Just trying to eat a bit healthier this week. I'm 5 foot and 10st 5lb so looking decidedly porky SadSadIdeally, I want to lose about 2 stone. DP has got about 5 stone to lose. Will be back later in the week.

calzone · 24/11/2015 07:32

Welcome Golden and Scrambled:)

I love the support on here......plan for today.....

B.....fruit and yoghurt

L....vegetable soup with ham and asparagus

D.....steak and sweet potato chips with salad

OP posts:
imwithspud · 24/11/2015 08:00

Scrambled I am similar! Just under 5ft tall and weigh10st6lbs. Not a lot to most people but when you take height into consideration it's not good. I'm hoping to lose around 3stone, hopefully I can lose a stone by Christmas! Feeling ambitious

The plan for today:
B - weetabix (heb) and an apple
L - lunch with dnan so probably some chips and a Diet Coke
D - homemade chilli and rice, probably topped with cheese for my hea

I'm really missing my usual white bread toast and non-diet Pepsi but no pain no gain!

Enjolrass · 24/11/2015 08:17

I have been doing this since Saturday and I am sure I feel like I have lost weight.

I haven't weighed myself yet, but can that be possible?

Heyheyheygoodbye · 24/11/2015 08:50

I felt in the first week I had lost, yes. I think some of it was bloating/water but whatever, it's all weight Grin

blondiep14 · 24/11/2015 10:45

Dodged a bullet again and actually lost! I think the jippy tummy I had at the beginning of last week, (I put down to eating too many tomatoes) really helped me. BlushGrin

Annarose2014 · 24/11/2015 10:53

I definately feel less bloated. I guess its all the bread I'm suddenly not eating. And of course when you don't eat bread anymore you don't eat butter anymore!

1st weigh in tonight. Quite nervous. Its also not till 7.30 so I have to eat dinner beforehand which worries me. I'll try and eat early.

Doing a big shop today. Anyone got any suggestions I mightn't have thought of? Stuff that you've discovered thats brilliant for SW?

Enjolrass · 24/11/2015 12:04

I think I may have messed up.

I though quorn sausages were free and an S food. I also thought that beans were an S food.

Not sure I have had enough S foods with my meals now I realise they aren't.

Lictionary · 24/11/2015 12:07

Today's plan. I gave in and bought some sweetener which I hope will stave off my carb and sugar cravings.

B: Cheese slices as hea
L: King prawn and veg stir fry
D: Baked ham with speed veg

tabulahrasa · 24/11/2015 12:24

Enjol - low fat quorn sausages are free, normal ones are I think 1 syn each, not huge amounts anyway.

Beans are a P food.

Yes you want a third speed whenever you can, but you should still lose weight without it...unless you've had literally hundreds of sausages of course, lol

Enjolrass · 24/11/2015 12:29

Ah they were the low fat ones!

I have had 4 this week.

I find the app a bit confusing. Confused

I am eating speed fruit I between meals. So hopefully that will be ok.

Is P as good as S?

I really wish I had enough time to get to a class, rather than doing it online.

But everyone here has really helped so thank you.

tabulahrasa · 24/11/2015 14:59

P isn't as good as S, but better than just free (there's a hierarchy, lol).

4 normal ones wouldn't have been a huge problem anyway, but yeah the low fat ones are free Smile

I find the mobile site better than the app.

Buttwing · 24/11/2015 16:32

P foods fill you up longer so are good in that respect. Even if you don't have the third of a plate of speed food you will still lose just not as much and not get the health benefits.

I've failed to get back on the wagon in fact I'm well and truly in the gutterGrin
I had chips peas and gravy for lunch-from the chippy!!

Weigh in tomorrow night I'm expecting and deserve a gain. I'm going to do an online shop tonight and meal plan for the week.

Buttwing · 24/11/2015 16:34

I find a good way of getting the speed food in is to make a soup. I will have a bowl of it before meals it means I get the s food and usually eat less of my meal as it fills me up.

Enjolrass · 24/11/2015 16:52

Right so 'P' fills you up

And 'a' helps loose quicker.

I have made a spag Bol which is more veg than meat for tomorrow.

And tonight I will have loads of veg with dinner.

I am eating fruit in between that is 'S' does help make up for not having much 's' at meal times?

Enjolrass · 24/11/2015 16:53

Will try that soup idea too. Thank you x

Buttwing · 24/11/2015 17:22

I wouldn't worry too much if I make a spagbol I will add onions, mushrooms and peppers. If I know I'm going to have a meal that's not got loads of s foods in I will have more s foods at lunch to balance it out. I think as long as you're sensible you should still have a good weightloss.Smile
