Hi Demoska, a bit of up and down is going to happen what ever tour eating plan. I think the biggest one we're all trying to master is to achieve a net down over time so that we can shift the extra pounds whilst still enjoying life.

I'm net down over 3 stone but like you have 2 stone that I'd still like to loose.

Tonight I survived the school fair, I feel I should be entitled to a v.large wine - i've got used to not drinking but it was a bit mad at the fair and I miss that lovely sound of the pop of a cork and the smell and glug when you pour out the first glass. The problem is DH doesn't really drink red so I'd have half the bottle tonight then have just two days to finish the rest.

Too many syns.

We've got heck chicken italia sausages (1/2 syn each) and actifry chips with salad for tea. Except i've scoffed all my sausages whilst waiting for the chips to cook.

CoconutAmericano · 02/12/2014 19:29

Just thinking misfor maybe you could get a couple of miniatures of red in for the evenings when you just fancy one glass? And if you don't finish it you can refrigerate the rest for another night or put into a bag or ice cube tray and keep it for cooking?
Im really looking forward to having a drink tonight actually. Dh is off ( works nights and almost always includes the weekend) so tonight is my to have a couple! Woo hoo. The weekend will be a sober affair mind..

MisForMumNotMaid · 02/12/2014 19:39

The minatures are a good idea. I have little bottles of white and even minature Prosecco in the fridge. But no red. The taste and smell works with a minature but i need a tape recording of that lovely glug sound from a big bottle to get the full effect. My problem is once I've had one I find it so easy to just have another. The plan is to freeze etc but the reality is once I start pouring and consuming my resolve dissolves and come morning the guilt sets in.

I'm passed the wine o clock call now. I've moved on to choc n orange muller light.

Enjoy your rare night of a few. I'm now eyeing up the minature choc bars in the fridge door.

dexter73 · 02/12/2014 19:46

That's what I do Coconut. It is a bit more expensive to buy the little bottles of wine but then when it is gone I won't be tempted to have another glass.

demoska1 · 02/12/2014 20:38

Thank you for the "welcomes"
I've had another good day today so that's a start. Silly as it sounds I do keep a food diary and give myself a gold star sticker for each good day. I've made my own diary which includes daily activities too. I stick it on the inside of a cupboard.
I've not had a good year health wise but having 2 dogs keeps me moving. We walked for 1 1/2 hours today along the canal...I'm pleased with that as I'm recovering from spinal surgery and have pain.

Worryingwombat · 02/12/2014 23:01

Good luck for tomorrow's weigh in for those of us weighing in tomorrow! I dont think ive lost think week. Feel blah. Bit of comfort eating today. Feel fat. Sure we'll see.

MisForMumNotMaid · 03/12/2014 20:35

I tend to find feeling flabby is a good sign. I normally feel a bit wobbly before a big loss. Hope it works that way for you too.

Weigh in for me is tomorrow morning. I hope that its 1lb plus because I want/ need my 3.5 stone shiny sticker. I'm running out of time to achieve my Christmas wish of being 11 stone something.

Seriously considering doing success express for a week to kick start better losses for these last pre Xmas weeks.

CoconutAmericano · 03/12/2014 20:42

The very bst of luck misfor for tommorrow. I really hope you get your award, that is some serious weight loss! If i stay the same tomorrow i think i might try success express myself. Even just for a week to kick start my weight loss. Im behaving most of the time but just not seeing much on the scales.

Worryingwombat · 03/12/2014 20:51

Weigh in for me tomorrow as well!!

Good luck to all for weigh in tomorrow!!

Mis- I will keep everything crossed for u tomorrow!!! 3 1/3 stone wow you are an inspiration!!!

Ha ha that's exactly how i feel today wombat Blush

MisForMumNotMaid · 03/12/2014 20:58

I want to start the betting off on what thread two is going to be called. I recon we're about a month in and about 1/4 way through the thread so three months (ish) left. Starting the guessing game with 'my shrinking 19 stone mission'

tabulahrasa · 03/12/2014 21:10

"Feel blah. Bit of comfort eating today. Feel fat."

I felt like that this week, lost 1 and half...I quite often find I can't go on how I feel I've done, I mean unless I've had a meals out and succumbed to dessert or something, I can guess then, lol

oneowlgirl · 03/12/2014 21:37

Unfortunately my weigh in tonight wasn't so good - put on 1 1/2lb after losing 3 last week. I seem to do that a lot, but at least generally it's 2 steps forward & only 1 back Grin.

Good luck for all those weighing tomorrow.

MisForMumNotMaid · 03/12/2014 22:06

Glad that you're so positive and recognise that there were two forward steps before the one back, Owl. I think I could learn a thing or three from your attitude.

demoska1 · 03/12/2014 22:10

Silly as it sounds I'm pleased with myself again today. I've managed 3 good days in a row and been on long walks too.
I plan to make the super speed soup that wombat has shared tomorrow.
Can someone please explain what success express is...

MisForMumNotMaid · 03/12/2014 22:37

Success express is filling 2/3 plate with super free 1/3 free foods. So lots and lots of veg and fruit and slightly reduced carbs and protein (or just giant plates of food) plus your usual syns.

Its a way of shaking things up and rethinking your eating. I've bot tried it yet but weight loss has really slowed for me, I do sort of know why - theres a bit of diet creep, so i either need to redo week 1. Meal plan plus very low syn or jump start things with success express.

MisForMumNotMaid · 04/12/2014 11:45

Today was a good weigh in. 2lb down and oddly slimmer of the week (hardly anyone in group worked to my advantage). I feel all positive and saintly. I got my 3.5 st award and sticker so I feel its one more hurdle down.

Now I need to focus on the last 4lb in the next three weigh ins to take me under 12st.

3st 8lb down, 2 st 4lbish to go. The blue predicted line on the website almost reaches the purple target one. And the blue line is shorter than the red milestones plot so it feels like this is real progress.

Sorry to be irritatingly all happy with it and I hope that everyone else has good weigh ins too.

CoconutAmericano · 04/12/2014 12:24

Not irritating at all misfor. Very very well done!! Slimmer of the week too, you're motoring along Flowers You are doing so well SmileWe need more great results like this today.

Unfortunately it wont be from me Grin as alas i stayed the same, not sure why. Ok i didn't always stick to plan, i guess that's why lol. But like i didn't go too mad either and stuck to the plan id say 80% of the time so boo hoo to me! I am 10 st 11 and i need to be ten stone. Going to have to try that bit harder. The last stone is slow to go Sad i remember from the last time..

Success express it is. Good luck to the other ladies weighing in today. Looking forward to hearing of more losses. It reminds me sw really does work.

demoska1 · 04/12/2014 13:19

Congratulation misfor. Your positive attitude and good results are rubbing off brilliantly, you are motivating folk and that's good.
I've made a massive pan of super soup this morning. I'm going to try and keep on track until Xmas.
We generally cook/eat the SW way at home so I've no problems with family meal. Alcohol doesn't bother me but I'm hugely addicted to Doritos. Something about the crunch and taste I think.
Thanks for motivating me ??

tabulahrasa · 04/12/2014 13:59

I once made pretend Doritos with those bfree wraps that count as a b choice and a load of seasoning, things like smoked paprika and garlic powder, cut them up and put them in the oven till they went crispy...made salsa and a free dpi from yoghurt and garlic, they weren't Doritos to be fair, but they were ok.

You can also make crisps out of potatoes and fry light that are free as long as you have superfree with them...(hence the salsa, lol)

tabulahrasa · 04/12/2014 13:59

I have no idea why dpi came out as dpi, lol

tabulahrasa · 04/12/2014 14:00

Dip FFS , DIP!!!!!!
